Chaos

Chaos.

That was the only way to describe it.

The Corrupted Seer fell to his knees as je stared at the chaotic battle unfolding in the forest below.

Even from the top of the cliffs, the large bodies of the three boss monsters were still visible.

And each one of them were capable of overturning the world for their benefit.

The Avatar of the lord, the eater of worlds was still digging through the crust of the earth, burrowing through it and causing the ground to shake and split it apart.

Splitting the earth, it was just as visually distressing when the Overlord of the seas, a native boss appeared to send waves after waves to crash onto the land.

Undoing all of the work that the Avatar had done in splitting the earth just by filling the earth with water.

And finally, the strangest one.

A large skeletal being that was far from the normal size of undead.

It was estimated by the seer that there would at least be some resistance by other forces such as the resident ancient monsters such as the Overlord of the Seas.

But the chances were so small that they weren't even talked.

But at least it was expected that an ancient monster would've appeared.

It made absolutely no sense that some other boss monster aside from natural bosses had appeared.

It was even a brand new monster of unknown origins.

Mentally screaming loudly, the Corrupted Seer stared at the battle happening below.

With several tidal waves still coming in from the sea, they crashed against the corrupted forest washing away the years worth of corrupted eyes hiding there.

And the most disturbing fact of them all?

The man that they thought was dead had come back to life stronger than ever.

Watching the tiny dot riding the waves unleash blasts of ice that froze large portions of waves and froze the giant skeleton.

The Overlord of the seas revealed a majority of its body.

Crashing against the ground, the large leathery surface was littered with scars as red blood leaked out of the body and turned to the other boss monster.

Staring at the tiny dot in the middle of the three comparatively larger monsters that destroyed nature to make it a battlefield fit for their own.

The corrupted seer let out a long sigh.

Placing their hand against their chest in an outwards position, a purplish haze flew from his hands and gathered in front of him.

Manifesting a corrupted beast that was made of tendrils of evil flesh and was covered in green eyes.

Two horns appeared on it as the seer got onto its back, settling on the hump on its back he grabbed the two horns and properly sat down.

Bringing the corrupted mount, the corrupted seer of the corrupted eye blinked wearily.

Staring at the mountain hole where it was connected to the rest of their group that was undoubtedly packing up.

The seer shook his head.

Since things were already out of their calculations, the battle that was expected to be ended rather quickly was not going to end so soon.

It was already guaranteed that the resident kingdom of Rosetta would send people here to find out what the hell was happening not far off of their borders.

In fact, they might've already sent someone to check it out.

Letting out a sigh, the Corrupted Seer dragged the horns of the corrupted mount upwards and pushed it.

Gurgling, blasts of purple haze bubbled out of its behind as traces of its evil haze left out of the various tendrils hanging off its body.

Since the Kingdom of Rosetta was going to investigate what had happened, it only made sense to make things difficult for them in any case.

If they were going to find the monster breeding grounds, don't make it easy for them.

Turning his head to the mountain that was untouched by corruption in its outer shell, a bright purple light flashed from his brow and pierced his mental.

Receiving that signal, the corrupted seer raised his hands high up into the air and manifested a gigantic monstrous skull of a creature with one eye and two large jaws reminiscent of the eater of worlds.

Opening its maw in a soudless screech, the mountain opened up and revealed monsters of purple color leaving it in a tide.

If others saw this, they would see nothing but purple from all around.

"Oh Corrupt minions of our one purple lord! Heed his order and go forth and corrupt this world!"

[Unleash the Seal of Magellan! Tenfurkata!]

[-Tenfurkata!]

'What the hell???'

Glancing at the surrounding greenery/ purplery? I looked for the source of the sound.

And I was greeted none other by a giant skull of some being just like the eater of worlds made out of purple haze.

And I think it just looked at me.

Cracking an unsettling grin, the purple haze dissipated into an even larger purple haze.

Oh scratch that, I think that purple haze I'm seeing is actually lots of monsters.

A fucking shit ton of them as well.

Feeling my face pale somehow, my hair blazed darkly in the dark night illuminating the barest area around myself.

Staring at the purple tide undulating in the moonlight, my legs lifted themselves up and crashed the icy board against a nearby corrupted tree.

Rolling against the ground, I fell against a wide open clearing even as the skies thundered above me.

Raising its fist high up above it, Skeletron's fist was outlined by a strike of lightning causing it to look like the skeleton of a god of thunder.

Slamming it down, I had to roll out of the way of the second blow coming from the ground in the form of a gigantic purple worm.

Throwing ice shards at the beast, a thin layer of ice was formed before being torn apart by flexing muscles.

Grimacing, my face changed into some unknown shade just as the skies seemed to pause their rain and unleashed a giant bolt of water.

I didn't even know rain could do that!

Or it might actually be the Overlord of the Seas now that I think about it.

Glancing sideways to the barely visible figure of the shark octopus hybrid suspended in the air by a ball of water, I grimaced.

Manifesting bolts of water from the skies and slamming it everywhere, several worms sprouted out from where the water bolts struck.

Receiving a slap from Skeletron the worms were sent tumbling into the water bubble where they were torn to shreds.

Balling its hands into a fist, the skeletal hand ripped apart the worms heading its way before attacking the overlord of the seas.

Swinging its tentacles and meeting the blow, by now I could see that all of the boss monsters basically disregarded me in their entirety.

Now I know that I should be feeling grateful about that fact since I could attack them all and kill them when they're at their weakest.

But it wasn't a good feeling in the slightest to be looked down upon.

And I know for a fact that unleashing the malaise from its binds of mana that had been put on their by God meant that I couldn't use mana for the rest of my life until I become the Avatar of mana.

But I didn't care.

Isn't the purpose of becoming an avatar of energy all about power?

Why suppress it?

In fact, why am I thinking like this?

I'm pretty sure that I'm, well was, someone who didn't chase the thrill...

Recalling all the times I went flying off of a cliff with parachutes and all those acrobatic stunts I blinked.

...I probably shouldn't think about how exciting this was but...

Before I knew it.

The magic binds had been undone and uncontrolled orange malaise coursed through my body with an unbridled rage.

The restrained orange malaise finally had free reign in my body.

And the first target? The three boss monsters.

Concentrating it all into the giant broadsword in my hands, I raised it above my head and swung.

'Oh no.'

Celestia thought that when she saw that one of the many lesser forms of the Moon Lord was manifesting in the sky.

Breaking some sort of seal that even she could feel in the distance, Celestia grimaced.

As a dryad, she was connected to all of nature.

And the nature was screaming.

Sending signals through the interconnected network of roots, the world itself was in pain as the corruption continued to permeate itself through the plants warping them into something distinctly different.

Something Alien

Staring at the sky in the distance which was being swallowed by up by the tide of corrupted beasts that have been morphed into something just like its image.

The corrupted lord, the avatar of corruption and the facet of the moon lords authority had only manifested for a short period.

But that short period was all that the corruption needed.

Surging forwards with unprecedented ferocity, Celestia grimaced as the trees screamed out in pain.

Pulling at the roots and awakening the latent power of nature, all of the trees that were screaming in pain suddenly felt revitalized.

Awakening the seed of power hidden deep within them, just like that the trees came alive.

Twisting all of their roots together, the ancient oaks and withered pines of age old shuddered.

Grating and grinding against their stubbled and rough bark, the tree branches shook as the stubborn and unyielding branches finally bent.

Ripping their roots out of the ground, the trees came alive as they stood against the corruption.

Wrapping their branches against the stone boulders littered around, the branches pulled them up and launched them.

Like catapults and meteors in the night the purple tide was swept away by the giant stones, turning into purple acidic rain that plummeted to the earth.

Groaning the ancient oaks had turned into treants.

The guardians of the forest had awakened.

And the guardians of the forest were angry.

Groaning loudly, the treants slowly stumbled their way through the trees, all of the plants making way as the guardians of the forest plodded onwards.

Forming several lines of defence, the purple tide of corrupted beasts gathered underneath the mountain for over a decade poured out like water from a broken jar.

And the water wouldn't stop anytime soon.
