5: Top Scorer
Before we went to the City Block, we first went to another room where we took a written exam.
The questions were pretty easy. An example of a question from the exam is,
"You are in a train yard, next to a lever. If you pull this lever, the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that there is one child on the sidetrack. And if you don't pull the lever, the train will continue and kill 5 adult persons. What would you do?"
It's quite the dilemma, but I wrote "I'm going to stop the train."
Moving on...
It's time...

I arrive at Exam Site B, and I see many background characters... Actually, I manage to spot Kyoka Jiro and a purple-ball-haired midget gawking at the girl examiners... Ignoring them, I look at the gates, waiting for the signal.
...
"SUTARTOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" With that, I start running towards the city while others are still confused.
I immediately start looking for a pole. I spot one and trail my fingers across its surface and say...
"Separate" "Elongate" "Transmit" There. My own makeshift staff. The school didn't allow the use of items unrelated to our quirks, so, I made one.
Running and looking around, I manage to spot a 2-Pointer. I run towards it and it sees me.
It attempts to punch my chest but I swerve to the left and I attack it with my staff. Once the staff makes contact with the robot's upper body, I say,
"Explode!" The robot's upper half explodes to bits.
Phew. For my first real fight, I did well. Okay, let's keep this pace up.

I kept count of my scores and according to my computations, I have 47 Villain Points. I did help some other students, so the overall points would be higher than that.
I catch sight of a horde of robots, made up of 2 3-pointers and 4 2-pointers, terrorizing 2 examinees. So I grip my staff and touch the tip of it, "Sharpen" and "Extend" Then the scuffed spear increases in length exceeding 8 feet. I point it towards the horde and,
"Blast Away!" The "spear" managed to skewer 4 robots but they were still functioning, so I run towards them, hold the bottom tip of the "spear" and say, "Enlarge". With that, the "spear" increases in size and destroys the skewered machines. That makes it 56 Villain Points plus some Hero Points. I then turn towards the distracted robots with a grin.

[Teacher's Viewing Room]
"There are many promising students this year..." said a chimera.
"I just hope that you won't expel a whole class of them, Aizawa-san" he added.
The mentioned man grunts and looks intensely at the screens.
"Well, I think we should send it in now?" questioned a man with a tan cloak.
"Yes, yes! All Might, will you do the honors?" said the rat satan.
"Okay, Nezu" replied All Might as he pressed a red button.

[City Block B]
{Akira POV}
As I snap my fingers, I hear Present Mic shout from the speakers, "1 Minute LEFTO!!!!"
The ground quakes as a huge shadow looms over us examiners.
It's here! My survival instinct is telling me to run... But I want to test myself. I want to see the fruits of my labor from the past 10 years.
I dash towards the gigantic robot, with my staff in hand. I grip my weapon, "Transmit". As the robot attempts to squash me with its hands, I jump and slip through the gap of its fingers, and land on its palm. It clenches its hand once it notices me standing on it.
But I slam my staff down and shout "Blast Away!". With a hard grip on my staff, I was blasted away. I land on the enormous machine's shoulder, I slam my staff on its massive neck, and say,
"Destroy" I jump from its shoulder, staff clutched, and said "Levitate".

As I hover in the air using my staff, I watch the destruction of the 0-pointer. I calm myself down and reminisce about the past.
I have come a long way...

[Teacher's Viewing Room]
"Two applicants managed to destroy my creations!" a short, skinny man shouted.
"Very impressive for their age! Indeed!" said Nezu.
"Oh~ And that raven-haired boy looks so handsome too~!" said a woman in an alluring voice.
A thin yellow-haired man looks at the screen with admiration, while a man in a sleeping bag stares at the screens with no outward emotions.

[City Block B]
{Akira POV}
"TIME'S UPOOOOOOO!!!" I hear Present Mic say from the speakers.
Phew...
*Snap* I land on the roof of a building and made my way down.

A week of waiting later, I finally got the Acceptance Letter.
"A-Aki-chan! It's here!" shouted my mom from down the hall.
"Mom, calm down... I know I passed... I mean after what I did? Heh" I replied smugly.
"Phew. You're right. Here you go, honey" replied my mom as she hands me the letter.
...
I opened the letter and pressed on the device.
"Hello! My name is Nezu and I am the principal of U.A." said a rat-dog-bear hybrid from the video.
"I am going to keep this short. You have been accepted in U.A., as the Top Scorer! So, Congratulations!" said the principal as the video transitioned into the scoreboard.
