Ji An's Arrival

Yoon Gi's POV

On my way home, I was smiling non stop. At least, I got to spend some time with Lilac. Luckily, Lilac doesn't go against our plan. I'm counting for the number of days. Sooner or later you will be caught Ji An. 

Fast forward >> 1 week later

So far we could get was Hazel had that medicine in her room which means our guessing and suspicion was right. When Lilac called us the other day that she had asked Hazel out, she had totally given a chance for Hanuel to check Hazel's room. When Hanuel found the picture of the medicine that is in the needle, we ask Seok Jin hyung to check for us. Turns out the medicine was really the one that was injected into Lilac. We haven't told Lilac about it because we want to wait for Ji An to confirm this truth. The next round when she injects the medicine into Lilac it will completely help Lilac to recover all her memories. 

Ji An's POV

Finally, I'm back here. I wonder if Lilac had started having fragments of her memories. She didn't mention anything when I texted her the last time so I think that she still doesn't remember anything. This second dose of medicine is much stronger because I need her to lose all her memories about them this time. I only want them to look at me. 

To: Hazel

Bring it over tomorrow. 

From: Hazel 

Ok.

To: Lilac

I've arrived. Where are you?

From: Lilac

I'm still stuck in the traffic jam. Give me another 20 minutes. You just wait at the airport café first. I'll come and get you there when I reach. 

To: Lilac 

Ok.

I put away my phone and walk towards the café. I was intruded by the heavenly smell of freshly brewed coffee because I haven't had my breakfast yet. Since Lilac won't be here in another 20 minutes I decided to buy some food for myself. I ordered iced latte and cheese bagel. I sat down at the corner of the café playing my game on my phone. After my food arrived, I said thank you to the waiter and start eating. As I was eating, someone tapped on my shoulder. I almost choked on my drink. When I turn around, it was Lilac. 

"Lilac you scared me ah." I said. 

"Sorry. I was late." Lilac said. 

"It's not your fault." I said. 

"How was your flight over? Was it comfortable?" Lilac asked. 

"Yeah. I had a good sleep on the flight but I still need more sleep so I need to crash at your place later." I said. 

"Sure." Lilac said. 

"Have you had your breakfast?" I asked.

"Yeah. I had kimbap for breakfast. Leftover from yesterday." Lilac said. 

"It's not healthy that way Lilac-ah. You should eat something that is fresh." I said with concern.

"It's nothing. I've gotten used to it already." Lilac said. 

"But then still you need to take care of yourself." I said. 

"Ok. Oh I have a question to ask you." Lilac said. 

"Ask away." I said. 

"You see recently I met a friend online so he told me that his friend betrayed him for the girl that they both like. He came and ask me for advice but I don't really know what to answer him. I need your opinion on this." Lilac explained. 

I was stunned for one moment when she asks this question but I manage to regain my composure quickly so that she wouldn't suspect anything. 

"Well I don't really know what to do because it's actually up to him to decide. Whether he wants to tear down that person's mask or continue being friends with him. I would actually recommend him to tear down his mask in front of the girl that they both like. At least let the girl know the truth." I explained. 

"Hmm." Lilac hummed in reply.

"Ok. I'm done. Let's go." I said.

"Come let me help you with your bags." Lilac said. 

"It's ok Lilac. I can carry it myself." I said. 

"Ok." Lilac said and walk off with me tailing behind her. 

She went to hail a cab for the both of us and then the cab driver helped me to put my luggage. When the driver reached the main road, I could see long lines of cars showing how packed is the road is at this hour. People are probably rushing to their workplace. Fortunately, we manage to reach Lilac's apartment in 30 minutes. It took me quite an effort to climb up the stairs with my heavy luggage. When Lilac lead me to my room, I dropped on the bed to catch my sleep. 

"Lilac just wake me up for dinner. I'm too sleepy to wake up for lunch." I said. 

"Alright. Sleep well. The air conditioner remote is at the dressing table." Lilac said.
