Chapter Hundred-Eleven

Sharon drove halfway and waited for hours, she waited till dawn and there was still no sign of anyone coming her way.

She gets down from the car and parade around with her heavy swollen eyes.

When the sun started beaming out of the sky; raising with it early morning glory, it became clearer to Sharon that no one is coming;

No one made it out alive! Only her...

She bent down in the middle of the road and settle in tears, her eyes sting than ever but she didn't care; she had lost everything...all of them....

Her friends...

Her best friend.....

Her colleagues.....

Childhood friend....

And finally her lover.....

This was the end for her,she should have just stayed behind and due along with them;

She thought in tears, crying her heart out screaming out her lungs.

The whole world went down before her very eyes... hope... nothing to hold onto.

After long hours of grieving , she stood up and went into the car, she switch on the ignition and drive away; she turn on the car radio and listen to 'Lock away by R. city ft Adam Levine '.

She hummed the song along with the the audio voice, her tears never stop running out in their numbers; it falls out of her control.

She drives silently to the rescue team Zone, when she arrived she met Anna there; she informed them about the situation with her last strength; after that she became deaf and dumb.

They immediately rushed to the cottage, they believed her after they saw the condition she was in.

When they arrived, they were greeted by the stench of blood and Florida body lying in front of the house.

Anna hoped and pray in her dept of heart that Aiden was save and sound, she doesn't know how she would feel if she met his dead body;

He was like a son to her and she sometimes acted like his mother.

They open the door slowly and the first thing their eyes met with was Aiden cold body.

He sat and rested his head on the chair, he was seating on the floor, he had been in that position all night long; the doll lay in front of him with his eyes shut tightly.

" Aiden!!!!" Anna screamed in peril , she rush toward his body and placed his head on her lap; tears rolling out if her eyes willingly.

Sharon slowly knee in front of his body and started her tears all over again.

" Baby.... " She muttered softly.

Anna picked up a burner phone from the floor and called the boss.

" Sir..." She called out with tears, sniffing her nose.

" How's the situation there?" Mr Walter asked, anticipating for something good.

" They are all dead sir..... including Aiden.... Sharon Sheridan is the only survivor." She blared out, forcing the words out of her own mouth.

The sound of Mr Walter falling on his chair was heard from the other side;

" Give us you orders." She stuttered.

" Bury all of them there, not a word about what went down in that island must be heard." He said, with an heavy heart.

" Sir.... Aiden..."

" He's not exceptional." He said, tears filled his bleeding heart.

" I killed my son out of greed... I finally killed him..... I should have let Sharon stayed behind; he wouldn't have gone with her." He shouted, dropping his phone on the floor.

He buried his head on the table and break into tears.

" Clear this place."

They buried all the bodies in neat rows in the wasteland, dispose Mateo body inside a sack and threw it in lake Duno.

They clean everywhere and got rid of the traces of anything that can link with the company.

" Let go." Anna said, assisting Sharon to stand up.

Sharon just sat in one position staring at the empty space, completely out of her senses; she became dumb and she did nothing than looking at their movements.

She slowly stood up and follow Anna without saying a word, they drive out of the island leaving everything behind.
