Is there really no cure for the zombie virus?

In this chaotic world, there are superhuman beings who can resist infection, such as Iceman, who can transform into another form entirely; Ghost Rider and humanoids, who are not human; werewolves like Midnight, or even robots like Vision.

But even though these beings can avoid infection, they still face the overwhelming power of the zombie heroes. Fighting them isn't easy. After all, what's the point of risking two limbs just to gain a bite of flesh? Some zombies, like Dead Head and The Wasp, have only their heads left, and they have to strain their masseter muscles just to take another bite.

A dozen or so immune heroes stand against tens of thousands of superpowered zombies. Saving the world, or even themselves, seems almost impossible.

A towering, humanoid figure rose from the ground, majestic and powerful. Its body was made of vines, with muscles emphasized by its structure. The Red Hulk's eyes met the humanoid's, and a strange energy connected them. Red Hulk could sense an unusual power in its red eyes, awaiting his command.

"Head east, and clear the way!" Red Hulk commanded with a roar. He grabbed several containers and hurled them at the zombie masses with immense force. They flew through the air, scattering as they hit the ground.

The humanoid moved, grabbing its own vine arm. With ease, Red Hulk lifted the humanoid like a handful of soil and launched it toward a distant mound. The humanoid sailed through the air, landing unscathed on the mound, its body merging perfectly with the earth. Rising up, it waved to Red Hulk, its lower tentacle-like features moving almost like eyebrows.

Nearby, a zombie creature was greedily devouring a piece of meat, its dull blue feathers trembling. It had eaten Xavier earlier but hadn't had a meal since. However, an captain America had recently promised it a feast. Without hesitation, it agreed, and the colonel delivered—a bounty of fresh meat on the carrier for everyone to consume.

Suddenly, the zombie heard a faint noise and turned to see a towering vine-covered humanoid with glowing red eyes.

"Ah?" Before Professor McCoy could comprehend what stood before him, the vines wrapped around him, their thorn-covered spikes digging into his flesh, restraining him in a painful hold.

"Wait, I know who you are… you're the monster from the swamp… a humanoid!" The creature's voice wavered as it recognized the fear-inducing presence. In this world, fear was deadly, and a humanoid's touch could mean disintegration.

Despite knowing he needed to stay calm, fear crept into McCoy's mind, consuming him. Every thought turned into an anxious hook, eventually morphing into terror. As his fear peaked, flames began to flicker around him, gradually merging until they erupted like a blazing star.

In his final moments, he cried, "I'm sorry, Xavier." His voice dissipated with the flames, leaving only embers and black smoke.

The humanoid turned, its red eyes cold and calculating as it walked toward the other zombies. Vines shot out like tentacles, seizing the approaching zombies and burning them to ash.

"Move! Fury sent reinforcements!" Soldiers yelled as they ran toward the humanoid, preparing to evacuate with the heroes leading the way. The humanoid sensed their approach, red eyes gleaming fiercely as it advanced.

Red Hulk crushed a zombie's head with a powerful punch, splattering blood and bone fragments.

"Boom!" A thunderous noise echoed behind him, like a massive object crashing to the ground. Red Hulk turned, only to see a figure clad in deep red armor with a broad helmet, his face partially visible. Despite standing nearly three meters tall himself, Red Hulk felt dwarfed by the imposing newcomer.

"I've only fought Banner, not a Hulk like you," the figure growled, his eerie voice revealing hunger rather than exhaustion. Blood dripped from his mouth, a sharp red gleam contrasting against his monstrous frame.
