Outside Surya, the vast expanse of Kree Empire battleships loomed large, casting a colossal shadow over the sky, nearly swallowing the nearby city in its imposing presence.
But despite its intimidating appearance, the armada wasn't gearing up for war; their mission was focused on Luminara Primeand the Sacred Sun Palace built by Caesar.
Sending troops seasoned from their clashes with the Skrull Empire was seen as necessary, anticipating a potential long-lasting conflict, despite the Kree Empire's militaristic governance.
Fresh from their triumph over the Skrull Empire, the Kree were still actively pursuing any remnants of their ancient adversaries, ensuring their complete eradication and preventing any resurgence of a powerful foe.
Thus, diplomacy and negotiation were the order of the day for the Kree Empire when dealing with Caesar.
"Hail, Glorious New God! The Kree Empire extends its deepest respects to you," the envoy of the Kree Empire greeted Caesar with utmost reverence as negotiations began.
The Kree envoys bore the unmistakable features of their race: pure-blooded nobles with striking complexions. However, the two accompanying deputy envoys seemed visibly discontent, their greetings curt as they openly appraised Caesar and the Sun Palace.
"Do you lack manners? Is it customary to stare directly at a god?"
Kabriel's eyes shimmered with a golden light, causing the impertinent deputies to flinch in agony, their eyes burning with tears mixed with blue blood.
"That's enough Kabriel. Now as for you I don't have the patience for your insolence. You should get it," Caesar scolded firmly, looking at the main envoy. "If you can't win it on the battlefield, you won't get it at the negotiation table."
Ignoring the deputies' cries, Caesar locked eyes with the main envoy, sensing a strong spiritual energy coming from him, matching that of a typical fourth-order Asgardians.
"Oh how amusing," Caesar smirked at the main envoy, as the Kree envoy motioned for the writhing deputies to get medical attention.
Caesar had notice that after Kabriel blinded the envoys the main envoy got taken over by a powerful spiritual force. And that is the reason for his fourth order strength.
"I have one request: stop expanding into the galaxy beyond!" The main envoy clarified. "To show my sincerity, I pledge to keep peace and not interfere with your rule over the Andromeda galaxy."
"Hmm," pondered Caesar, tilting his head to examine the main envoy.
"So, you want me to give up my control over certain territories in exchange peace while you still continue to expand and gain more resources and power? What a kind offer you have there Supreme Intelligence"
"Alright, here's my condition." Caesar declared.
"Stop your ventures into other galaxies immediately, and I'll pledge to keep peace, protecting your sovereignty over the Magellanic Galaxy. What do you think?" Caesar proposed.
The Magellanic Cloud was crucial to the Kree Empire, nestled securely within the galaxy.
"Is this your plan, or Asgard's?" asked the Supreme Intelligence, her tone cold and emotionless.
"Don't worry, I'm not affiliated with Asgard; Odin is pursuing peace now," Caesar laughed.
Although he didn't know the details, ever since Hela's betrayal and the loss of many of Asgard's best, Odin seemed to have given up his former aura of supremacy.
The Supreme Intelligence fell silent for a moment, as if weighing Caesar's words or considering the consequences of challenging both Caesar and Odin at once. Then, with a cold tone, spoke again,
"All the territories you control were once part of the Skrull Empire."
"We conquered the Skrull Empire, taking most of their territory for ourselves!"
"The fourth-order Asgardians may be powerful, but they're not untouchable," the Supreme Intelligence said confidently.
As one of the universe's three major empires, the Kerry Empire could stand against even the strongest Tier 4 foes.
"Yet, despite your ability to use Bifrost for quick troop movements, your military lacks strength," noted Supreme Intelligence.
Some time ago, Caesar had encountered the Kree Troops while chasing the Space Gem.
Supreme Intelligence only knew about the fourth-order power of Caesar and didn't had a clue about the Space Gem. However, Captain Yon Rogg, who had seen the stone's power, hadn't reported back after being incapacitated by Carol, leaving his ship stranded on Sakaar.
The fate of Yon Rogg, whether he remained a warrior or became a scavenger, was uncertain. But he hadn't warned Supreme Intelligence about Caesar's potential threat.
Based on available intelligence, Supreme Intelligence thought Caesar was just an ordinary fourth-order Asgardians, using Bifrost for teleportation.
"The civilizations under your control can't stand against the Kerry Empire's main fleet!" the representative said confidently, dismissing any challenge.
"If we fight the Sacred Sun Palace," Supreme Intelligence said coldly, "the Kerry Empire could attack multiple planets under you simultaneously. We can preventing your forces from rescuing them in time."
Supreme Intelligence's statement sounded more like fact than a threat.
"Well then what are we waiting for let's start the war." Caesar replied, a devilish smirk on his face.
