Instead of focusing on the Electric Light Man, he concentrated on Iceman's genes. The recent battle against the Blood God made him realize his own shortcomings; while he had immense power and could easily destroy a single target, he found it difficult to eliminate a large group. Iceman's abilities could compensate for this limitation.

Iceman is an important member of the X-Men, but at this point, he is still a student, around fifteen or sixteen years old. Being that age, he is still a child, not fully familiar with his abilities and still in the training phase. Nevertheless, he has shown exceptional talent and is valued by Professor X and other teachers.

In the movie versions of the X-Men, Iceman's powers are not particularly prominent, but in the comics, he is one of the top mutants on Earth.

In the comics, Iceman can generate temperatures as low as -105 degrees Fahrenheit (-76 degrees Celsius) in seconds. He can freely lower both the external and internal temperatures of his body without causing harm to himself.

Iceman can create an ice layer to cover his entire body to enhance his defense. He can also use the moisture in his surroundings to reshape or reconstruct the ice on his body.

He can freeze the moisture in the air around him, forming simple objects like slides, ladders, and shields. Iceman also possesses the ability to create absolute zero temperatures, halting the molecular movement of bombs. He can also merge his body's molecules with water sources to achieve teleportation.

These abilities sound surreal, but Ye Hai, who understands physics well, knows they can be achieved as long as Iceman is powerful enough. Unlike Iceman, he doesn't have to worry about upgrading; he just needs enough scientific value to achieve these powers, which he accomplishes effortlessly and without stress.

Given such abilities, he chose to merge with Iceman's genes.

A few hours later, Ye Hai produced a green potion and immediately activated the quality control system.

"Ding! Quality control system activated... Fusion degree of freezing gene and host cells is 91.9%, can be used!"

...

Half an hour later.

"Ding! Quality control system activated... Fusion degree of freezing gene and host cells is 96.7%, can be used!"

Ten minutes later.

"Ding! Quality control system activated... Fusion degree of freezing gene and host cells is 98.9%, can be used!"

Five minutes later.

"Ding! Quality control system activated... Fusion degree of freezing gene and host cells is 99.9%, host is advised to use it!"

"Ding! Host has successfully completed the fusion of freezing gene with ordinary cells, earning 10,000 scientific value points!"

Ye Hai examined the green potion in his hand and asked in his heart, "System, how much scientific value do I have now?"

"Host currently has 45,790 scientific value points."

"Already over 40,000?" Ye Hai exclaimed with mild surprise and smiled, "System, let's solidify the tertiary brain region!"

"Understood! Ding! Host is solidifying the tertiary brain region..."

"Ding! Host has successfully solidified the tertiary brain region, consuming 30,000 scientific value points, leaving 15,790 scientific value points. Host's default state is now 30% brain region activated without requiring consumption of scientific value."
