Chapter 29: Unexpected Encounter

In the middle of the night inside the large museum.

Andy is walking casually and stop in front of those displayed items from time to time and used the psychometry ability to checked all of the objects history.

He decided to visit the British Museum first before going to Egypt, if he wanted to quickly know any information about En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse, he can find it in the famous robber museum in the world and searched for any archaeological object with connenction to Apocalypse.

He is also trying his luck checking the artifacts inside the museum, maybe he could find something interesting and powerful artifacts. In Ms Marvel, there was a theory that the other pair of Bangle is in the British Museum and were looted by british soldiers before Aisha and the others arrived at the Temple of Ten Rings.

Other than bangle, he is also hoping to find the three monoliths of Time, Space, and Creation Di'Allas. The three monoliths is featured in [Agents of Shield] and become the major plot of the series, it was found on the abandoned base name Lighthouse, it was built in 1976 and the monoliths were left behind inside the base.

These Di'Allas originated from Fear Dimension and could be combined to wield tremendous power, such as opening gateways between dimension, or simply travelling through time and space.

Regrettably, he didn't find the Bangle or the three Di'Allas inside the museum.

After some touring, Andy stopped in front of a display case with a scepter.

"Well? is not this the Staff of One?"

At last, he found something really powerful and useful weapon.

In MCU, The Staff of One is a mystical artifact orginally used by a poweful enchantress Morgan le Fay during the Middle Ages. However, the Staff of One was stolen from her and she somehow become trapped inside the Dark Dimension for centuries.

The Staff of One or Dark Scepter was later acquired by British Museum and was also later stolen by unknown Witch and used it agaisnt humanity, she was eventually defeated by the four Master of Mystic Arts, Kaecillus, Daniel Drumma, Wong, and Tina Minoru.

After defeating her, they took the Dark Scepter and placed it in the New York Sanctum. During the battle with Dormammu on Hong Kong Sanctum, Tina Minoru wielded the Dark Scepter to fight against Kaecillus and Zealots.

In TV series [Runaways], Tina Minoru stole the Staff of One from the academy of mystic arts under the instigation of Morgan le Fay and used her as a pawn to escape from the dark dimension and rule the Earth, but Tina Minoru realized her plan and simply kept the staff for herself.

After some thinking, Andy summoned a symbiote and swallowed the Staff of One.

Seeing the symbiote succesfully replaced the Staff of One on the display case, he also summoned an identical secpter in his hand and tried to sense Morgan le Fay.

After sensing her aura on dark dimension, he quickly cut off her connection to the staff in his hands and maintain the connection to the replica.

It seemed he needed to determine later if there was some Preacher in California.

Then, he turned his attention to the staff and checked its capabilities.

The Staff of One has tremendous capabilities, enabling its wielder to manipulate the enviroment and caused heavy modifications. its capable to cast various spells based on the need of the wielder and could be used with oral command.

Even though he don't know any magic, he can also used the staff using the symbiote's energy and because the staff was made of symbiote cell, Andy doesn't have a limitation like the mother and daughter Tina and Nico Minoru that can only used a command spell once or twice.

The known abilities of the staff shown on [Runaways] is 'Barrier Generation', its able to create a barrier of different nature like sealing the access to a room, conjuring a shield capable of blocking bullets, 'Sound Manipulation', 'Ice Manipulation', 'Earth Manipulation', and 'Electric Manipulation' that can start any apppliances or machines.

"Good! with this staff, i can easily unearthed the hundreds of meters underground tomb of Apocalypse." Andy nodded in satisfaction, the earth manipulation can come in handy.

He proceed to search for archaeological artifact containing the location of the buried city of Akkaba.

After 3 hours inside the museum, he succesfully found what he is looking for, he quickly used the psychometry ability to a 2 meter stone containing a hieroglyphics about En Sabah Nur.

After some time, Andy breath a sigh of relief and murmured. "So its northward of the City of Cairo, near the Nile River."

"I guess its time to go." Andy unhurriedly walked to exit of the museum but he suddenly stop walking.

"Hmmm?" He sensed an unknown type of energy knocking out those security guard.

"Three women, one mutant and two human?"

After sensing the presence of the three woman, he decided to quickly go back inside the museum and hide to find out who are they and what they are going to do.

After going back and stands on a corner, he let the symbiote covered his body and shapeshift into a full body medieval armor.

Andy act as a display medieval armor and curiously looked at the front, he doesn't know any of their aura but he decides to observed them for now and plan later.

At first, Andy wanted to use the new ability of 'Astral Energy Manipulation' he obtained from Christian Frost, before leaving America, he wondered how the Frost Family can produced three sisters with mutant gene so he also tried the mutant awakening cocoon to the remaining member of the Frost Family.

He didn't expect that even Christian Frost will also have a mutant x gene, his mutant power is able to draw power from the Astral Plane and materialize the energy and projected it as a destructive psychic blast that can cause both pysical and mental damage. It can also conjure a psionic energy and project a lifelike illusion.

He decided to be cautious and also didn't use the power of Staff of One, just use a simple camouflage

After sometime, three beautiful woman dressed in weird outfit appeared on his sight and they look at the surroundings of the museum.

"I sensed a presence here earlier." A woman in blue dress said to the two woman beside her.

"I also sensed it earlier and it seems a kind of telepathy?" A woman on purple black dress also said.

"Enough of talking, just cast a spell to know." A woman in black reminded them coldly.

The three woman quickly chant an obscured incantation, seemingly to cast a searching spell.

After chanting, a wave of visible energy spread out.

"Well, it looks like its not here anymore... then let's go quickly and find the magical relic." The woman in black ordered the other two women.

"Hey Selene, don't talk like you are the leader here." The woman in purple black said to the woman in black in displeasure, she don't like her commanding tone.

"Huh? what can you do? do you wanna fight again?" The woman in black reply coldy.

"Ha! Don't forget that if not for us, you will still be a trapped old witch inside the forest." The woman on purple black dress retorted.

"Do you really want to fight, huh?" The woman in black outfit quickly gestured of casting a spell.

The woman in purple black dress also raised her wand and readied to cast magic.

"Ok, would you two stop fighting for now and we should go on seperate ways to search the item." The woman on blue dress said two the two of them.

"Hmph."

"Be thankful that Linnea is here."

The two snorted to each other and quickly split up.

Meanwhile, Andy is so surprised, shocked, stunned, confused, and baffled, his expression become an emoticon pack.

He didn't expect to encounter three powerful witches here, and also fortunately, he didn't use astral energy or the staff because all magicians were sensitve to such energies.

After recovering from too much shocked, he quickly tried to remain calm and organized his thoughts.

Honestly, he really didn't expect to see them and he also recognized the two of the witches.

Althought the woman in purple black dress looks more young and more beautiful, not like the middle age aunty in his mind, he is sure that she is Agatha Harkness who appeared on [WandaVision].

What he is really is confused and baffled is the appearance of the woman in black, she looks like Kate Beckinsale or Selene of the movie [Underworld].

If not for her sexy revealing outfit and a black cape and she's capable of casting a magic, he will really mistaken her as Selene the Vampire.

With the obvious name, outfit and magic, he quickly determined that she is Selene Gallio, The Black Priestess.

He remembered that Selene of Underworld is inspired and based on Selene Gallio, and this maybe the reason why she looked like Kate Beckinsale.

What he is really confused is how the heck Selene appeared and work alongside with two witches, in the [X-Men: Dark Phoenix] there was also Selene Gallio.

Andy wished that he didn't watch that movie, it really make his eyes sore.

That one is just bald woman and a weak chicken mutant, she is more like comic acurate Callisto then the Callisto of the the [X-Men: The Last Stand].

The movie really did her dirty, to think that she will die because of a simply falling on the train.

If her origin now is based on the comics, then she should still be trapped on the Town of Nova Roma inside the Amazon Forest and cannot go out.

He doesn't know if she has a mutant daughter Magma, It seemed like the two witches helped her escape the Amazon Forest for whatever reason.

As for the auburn haired woman in sexy blue dress named Linnea, he also checked his memory file saved on the symbiote database, fortunately there was a record of her.

Lady Linnea or Elf Queen is a powerful sorceress before even the Atlantis sunk to the ocean, not much known about from her other than she was a long live being and married a warrior name Gorn, she bestowed her husband with eternal youth and tried to live in seclusion in Virginia for thousands of years.

Her notable appearance in the comics is when her husband died on the hands of police, she decided to take revenge.

The Avengers quickly tried to stop her from causing chaos, but they were beaten with no power to fight back.

If not for Captain America Talk-Jutsu, the Avengers will be destroyed by her powerful magic alone.

Apparently she doesn't look like someone who has a husband, because if there is, she would choose to stay in solitude far away from the civilization.

'Thankfully, i'm cautious enough.' Andy thought in relief, even with the cooling effect of the symbiote, he feels that his forehead and palm are sweating.

Selene Gallio power alone is a powerful mutant and a potential Sorcerer Supreme, Agatha Harkness can go toe to toe with Wanda, and Lady Linnea stopped by plot armor to save the face of Avengers.
