PART 33

The dozen or so leaders present were left speechless.

Wesley had just arrived and had no trusted subordinates under his command. He pointed to these leaders to carry out his orders, but they dared to negotiate with him.

However, they didn't dare to disobey Kingpin's orders no matter what.

These leaders were all old men in the gang and understood Kingpin's temperament and tactics. They considered Wesley to be a coward who was only interested in gold and glory.

Everyone felt contempt towards him and cursed him silently in their hearts.

Seeing that they didn't speak, Wesley repeated his orders with a stern expression: "I'll say it again. First, all goods in the bases must be removed before tonight. Second, during the crackdown period, no one is allowed to cause trouble. Do you understand?"

The leaders nodded silently with somber faces.

"Very well! You may all get to work."

The leaders bowed their heads and left, their spirits deflated.

As they walked out into the open space outside, they denounced Wesley for being unjust and began to miss the days when Jason was the gang leader.

The leaders grumbled as they walked, and the bearded man followed at a distance. He was responsible for the gang's freight business and had a strained relationship with the other leaders in the gang.

When no one was looking, he quietly slipped away to a secluded corner, took out his mobile phone, and sent a text message.

The Drug Enforcement Administration headquarters in New York City.

Steinfeld lounged on the sofa chair in his office, feet up on the desk, as Beethoven's "Fate Symphony" played in the background. He smiled with his eyes closed, tapping his hands to the beat of the music.

He had gained fame across the United States for his work in Hell's Kitchen, becoming a hero in the eyes of ordinary people for his efforts in fighting drugs. The Governor of New York was even preparing to award him a medal, while the DEA headquarters in Washington was considering promoting him.

Steinfeld was now enjoying a flourishing career and was proud of his accomplishments.

Drip, drip...

The phone on his desk rang.

Steinfeld picked it up and checked the text message from an undercover agent within the DEA.

"Tonight, all the materials from the gang will be transferred to the warehouse in Baltimore City. There's a ton of hay in it!"

He had just shut down a drug den, and now they were moving another batch of high-quality grass. It was the kind of rhythm that people in middle age started to see.

However, he wasn't sure which gang this message was referring to.

Steinfeld sat up straight and logged into the DEA's intranet to look up information about the undercover agent. It wasn't that he was being irresponsible or couldn't remember the identities of his agents, but there were so many undercover agents within the DEA that he couldn't possibly remember all of them without checking.

The DEA had become the butt of many jokes due to the sheer number of undercover agents they had.

One infamous incident involved a DEA police officer who had been undercover for years, posing as a high-quality grass seller, ready to sell to another person and then arrest them during the transaction. However, the buyer turned out to be another undercover agent, who informed their superiors about the time and place of the transaction, with the plan to capture the seller and force them to reveal the identities of the entire high-quality grass network.

On the day of the trade, the plainclothes police officers from both sides got into a fight, with several officers even getting shot and falling to the ground. Only after the local special police arrived did they realize that it was a huge misunderstanding. This incident became a widely reported embarrassment for the DEA.

Steinfeld soon found out the real identity of the undercover agent, the bearded man.

"This person is undercover... Kingpin !"

Steinfeld felt a sense of excitement.

Thinking of the animosity between Kingpin and Jason, he quickly dismissed the idea of calling the police.

"What's wrong with this? This is a perfect opportunity for the boss to get his revenge."

He grabbed his coat and headed downstairs to the apartment, where Jason was recovering from his old injury. Since he had some free time, he decided to teach Franklin the basics of firearms.

Seeing Stan's excited expression, Jason smiled and asked, "Why are you so happy? Did you find all the hidden packages in Vice City?"

Stan gasped and replied, "I have inside information from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Kingpin has an operation tonight!"

Jason's expression froze instantly.

Stan continued, "He ordered his men to transport all the illegal goods from the gang to the warehouse in Baltimore."

Jason stood in place and thought for a moment before understanding Jinbing's strategy.

"That's a smart move! This crackdown in New York is different from the past. The police department will be taking heavy action, and they won't stop until they catch a big fish."

"The boss's assessment of the situation is spot on. The senior leaders of the New York Police Department just had a meeting, and they're determined to crack down on this matter within a day or two."

As a senior government employee, Stan had access to inside information from the police department.

Jason asked, "Do you have the list of Kingpin's shipments?"

Stan shook his head and replied, "No, but the insider said there's over a ton of marijuana alone."

Franklin exclaimed in shock, "A ton of weed! That's worth $130 million based on the black market price of $130 per gram! And that's not even including the other supplies!"

After speaking, he looked at Jason with eager eyes and said, "Boss, let's do it!"

With such a lucrative opportunity in front of them, it would be foolish not to take it.

Jason waved his hand to signal for him to calm down.

He sat back on the sofa and furrowed his brow, contemplating the feasibility of this mission.

[Ding! Trigger the mission [Hi Grass Warrior], mission reward: 3000 villain points!]

[Mission description: Kingpin has a shipment worth hundreds of millions of dollars to be delivered to Baltimore. Please steal it and show the previous boss who's in charge!]

The value of this shipment was already incredibly tempting, but with the added push from the system, Jason couldn't resist any longer.

He stood up abruptly and said, "Let's go!"

Franklin and Stanton were instantly thrilled.

Jason was very magnanimous towards his opponents. He believed that after this mission, they would all be millionaires.

"Here, here, and here... These dozens of places marked with arrows are the Jinbing gang's strongholds, and the Hell's Kitchen stronghold is the gang's headquarters."

The three of them sat around, and Jason opened up Google Maps to assign tasks.

"This is an abandoned factory district in Baltimore City, and it's also where the warehouse is located."

"There are a large number of gang members stationed at the starting point and the ending point, so we'll need to find a way to strike on the way."

Jason swiped the map with his finger, pointing to a location without any surrounding buildings.

"This place is 200 kilometers from New York and about 120 kilometers from the Baltimore factory."

"The biggest danger in this mission is the possibility of an ambush, so we need to be careful."

"And this is the only way from New York to Baltimore. It's surrounded by low hills, without any buildings, and there's no way for people to hide."

"So, here's the plan."

"Stan, you'll be in charge of preparing the weapons for me. I need two remote-controlled anti-tank mines and ten C4 plastic explosives."

"Before the mission, we need to send a helicopter to scan the area with infrared rays to make sure that there are no enemy ambushes."

"Don't worry, we'll be okay."
