Citadel at the End of Time.
Deep inside the castle, an eerie silence hung in the air.
Kang the Conqueror, sat behind his desk with a grim expression.
Miss Minutes, emitting a faint orange glow, stood on the table with an anxious look.
She knew that she bore the main responsibility for the failure of the mission.
After all, the TemPad was locked, and if it hadn't been damaged, there would have been no way for this particular time prisoner to escape.
Seeing that everyone else was silent, she tentatively suggested:
"He Who Remains, why don't you have Paradox contact the time prisoners in the Voidlands? I've always known that he's been secretly dealing behind the scenes."
Even though Paradox had just died, these Agents could be cloned at will, much like the Time Keepers.
They were all expendable.
Kang the Conqueror, raised his head and said coldly:
"Do it."
"We must capture him, no matter what the cost!"
Right Now, he also felt a sense of regret.
At first, he hadn't taken the Judge's report seriously. But later, he realized that his "script" machine couldn't see this man's future.
That was illogical. Every life in every timeline should be monitored!
Besides, the man had clearly started out as an ordinary human, so how did he suddenly gain the powers of the Extremis virus and escape into the Void with such a purpose?
It was obvious that the man knew that being prune wouldn't kill him!
This individual must have unimaginable secrets!
Kang was filled with growing regret.
One small mistake could lead to uncertainty in the future!
He should have pushed this man to the end of time from the beginning.
No one could stir up trouble before him!
He looked at Miss Minutes coldly:
"Tell the Hunters that I want him alive!
"Otherwise, I will make sure that they experience death repeatedly in the Abyss of Time!"
Miss Minutes illusory body trembled. She nodded and disappeared.
...
'Void - At the End of Time'
Russell glanced at the figure resembling Captain America running in the distance, debating whether to approach or avoid him.
Though Human Torch was notorious for his foul mouth, he was still a good guy and unlikely to attack him.
And this guy had died in Deadpool 3.
According to the timeline of the Void, he should be safe for now - no need to deal with Professor X's sister.
But Russell was confused. Why didn't this guy fly?
Was he afraid of being discovered by Alioth, the monster?
After some thought, Russell decided to make contact.
The dangers of the Void were far greater than those shown in Loki and Deadpool 3, so it was better to gather more information.
However, before he could move, the figure in the distance noticed him and suddenly sprinted towards him.
Despite not being able to fly, this guy was fast.
He reached Russell in less than ten seconds.
"Hey, man!"
The man, dressed in a tattered windbreaker, skidded to a stop and greeted him with a friendly smile:
"Look at your fancy new clothes. Those idiots from the TVA must have made them for you."
"Those clerks with no brains and their heads up their asses should be fed to Alioth!"
"Oh, I guess you don't know what Alioth is. It's a monster that devours everything."
"Let me tell you, here-"
Before Russell could even speak, the man who looked exactly like Captain America began to ramble.
And from his level of profanity, it was clear that this was the Human Torch.
After a few minutes, the man finally finished his lengthy rant.
He had provided some helpful information about dangerous areas, signs of Alioth's' appearance, and terrifying mutant creatures.
All in all, he seemed quite friendly.
Russell smiled and thanked him.
The man immediately invited him into the fortress.
There were other time prisoners who had also been pruned, and they lived together to fend off the dangers of the Void.
Russell looked at the Human Torch in front of him, who had an expectant look on his face, but didn't answer right away.
After taking a closer look, he suddenly smiled in surprise and said:
"I think I know who you are. You're Mr. Human Torch from the Fantastic Four, right?"
Before he could finish, the Human Torch let out a scream of pain and kicked out violently!
Russell easily dodged the attack.
He smiled at the man, whose hands had been badly burned and turned brown, leaving him grimacing in pain.
"So, Mr. Human Torch, how's my temperature?"
