The new bride

She was happy. Jaquetta Gorales was, she was getting married to the love of her life even though she barely knew him but the first day she had seen him at her bakery his beauty captivated her, she just couldn't take her mind off him.

Jaq smiled widely looking at her reflection in the mirror, she looked absolutely stunning.

'Etta, you look so beautiful' Her best friend, Felicity said with a smile

'Thank you' replied jaquetta. Her mother, Eva who was dressed richly entered the room gaining the attention of the duo.

' City..' Jaq simply said and her friend nodded before leaving both mother and daughter. Jaq stood up and faced her chubby mother. She sighed heavily before cupping her daughter's cheeks.

' I can't believe that you are really getting married that too.. to a rich and important man in the Country, I wish you the best of lucks in your marriage ' Eva said looking like she wanted to cry. Tears immediately gathered in Jaq's eyes and her cold palm wiped the drop of tear that had fallen from Eva.

' Mother..' Her voice cracked

'Ssh.. Don't get your makeup ruined because of me, I'm sure your groom is gonna trip when he sees you ' Eva said which made her blush but she quickly looked down to hide her cheeks that had turned pink

' I will miss you a lot, Jaq. Please take care of yourself and your soon to be husband ' Her mother added tearing up again. Jaquetta was her only child, her husband died by gunshot when Jaq was only seven years of age.

' Mother..' Jaq began and took her mother's hand in hers. 'No matter what, I will never forget you and tr..' she really wanted to say more but Felicity entered the room.

' Aunt, Jaquetta will be called to the alter now'

Eva smiled and faced her daughter. In few minutes, her daughter, Jaquetta Gorales would be Jaquetta Royal De Luca.
