Elaine sucked up her anger and talked to him nicely.

"Your highness, I didn't mean to be rude but it's not right to take advantage of a woman when she is in pain" she said with a calm voice and Alexander's brows knitted into a tight knot before finally realizing what had happened

"Elaine, how long do you plan on putting up this act"he asked calmly

"What act?" She asked

"What deal did you make with your dad, because I know for a fact that you are not stupid nor insensible, tell me" he urged and Elaine just turned away

He cupped her chin with his Palm and made her face him."you can always lean on me when you need help, tell me the truth" he said and Elaine was about to break when Halsey barged in looking for the princess with worry written all over her face

When she saw them together she immediately turned around and pleaded with them for barging in. Immediately she left Alex tried to urge more but Elaine turned away and ran straight to the bathroom

'wait, why didn't the kiss turn me, this is the first time, what's with this girl' he thought and decided to leave the room

"Xavier" he called Xavier who had been standing outside the whole time

"Your highness" he answered with a bow

"Arrange a girl for me" he said calmly and Xavier's eyes became wide

"But-" he tried to protest but Alexander turned and left

Elaine stood at the door of the bathroom trying to steady her fast beating heart before calling Halsey to help her take a hot bath to relax, she finally realized something

'My Palm" she said with widened eyes

"How is my palm cured and even my old scars are gone" she said confused

"Your highness, I heard the prince didn't let the maids take care of you, he sent them away and took care of you instead" Halsey said and Elaine looked down at her palm feeling a bit of regret

"But I am here to betray him" she murmured

"My lady?" Halsey didn't hear her

"Forget about it" she answered

After the hot bath Elaine left to find he husband in the castle again and when she saw the library she immediately remembered that book and the golden dragon but she decided to focus on finding her husband

"Your highness, may I ask what we are looking for" Halsey questioned

"My husband" she replied simply

"I-...um...i... have no I..idea" she stuttered

"Keep lying to me but you should know by now, I get what I want" Elaine said slightly aggravated

"Am sorry Elaine but I can't tell you" Halsey pleaded on her knees

"Didn't I say it before, I don't like traitors" she said and walked away 

She met a maid and the maid had told her that her husband was currently in his personal room with some woman. The slightly aggravated Elaine became enraged. 

"How could he be such a pervert betraying prince...he is a monster" she said to herself then barged into the room to see something she had never thought she'd ever seeAlexander took a woman to his personal room and kissed her intimately but didn't feel a thing. He stripped her and  only took off his shirt then saw her really sexy body but yet he felt no reaction. She moved her waist sexily trying all she could to turn him on and he couldn't deny she was indeed really sexy but his body didn't react at all.

He pushed her on the bed and covered them both in a blanket. He came on top of her and started kissing her  jawline and neck.

'why don't I feel anything' he thought feeling utmostly frustrated when he heard a sob that stung his heart badly.

He raised his Head to see his wife staring at both of them with a tears glistening in her eyes as diamonds

Watching her cry this much made him feel like he just took an arrow in the heart and he felt like killing the person that made her cry, but then he looked at the now extremely happy woman under him and finally realized what made her cry.

Elaine couldn't watch anymore and turned to run away. "Elaine please wait" he called and left the butt naked woman on the bed but Elaine had ran away

"Elaine please wait am sorry, it's not what you think" he yelled but she had already left

He combed his hair with his hand. The rage in his heart burned him deep and he felt a woman's hand on his chest

"Ouch, you are so hot" she said blowing on her hand with a squinted face

"Get lost!" He yelled at her and she quickly grabbed her clothes and entered the bathroom in fear

Alexander couldn't help but feel aggravated and disgusted with himself, the look of disappointment and betrayal in Elaine's eyes tore him apart. He stood there facing the ground with closed eyes and after a few minutes of silence, cracking sounds could be heard from his body. He opened his eyes to see his black long nails and his popped up veins. He got to the mirror and saw his golden eyes had turned completely black, the blood lust coming from the room at that moment was almost suffocating. 

Alexander knew if he didn't leave soon then he would kill the palace maids and the woman so he leaped off and left through the window.

The woman got out of the bathroom an hour later fully dressed but she could still feel the bloodlust and immediately left.

Elaine was in her room, crying her eyes out. She refused to eat that night because the saddness she felt was enough to satisfy her hunger and she slept off on the couch.

In the middle of the night, a tall figure could be seen watching the sleeping princess.

Alexander stood still watching her turn in the couch and looked at his still black long nails which was stained with blood and decided not to touch her. He felt she was too holy to be held by a monster like him
