Manchester United Press Conference

Journalists from various Newspapers could be seen crowded around the venue of where the press conference is to be held just waiting to be let into the room a sense of anticipation could be felt amongst the crowd due to the unexpected and silent nature of the deal. So when a Manchester United press officer allowed them into the room and informed them that they would be let into the room they were ecstatic.

10 Minutes later a press officer came in to inform them " the press conference is about to start please maintain order while the conference goes on" most journalists paid little attention to the last part "Without much delay I would like to welcome King Adeshola the new owner of Manchester United" clicks of cameras could be heard all over the venue as the new owner came into the venue he waved to the journalists a bit and later took a sit.

"Good Day everyone my name is King Adeshola and I'm the new owner of Manchester United and I'm hereto answer your questions"

A Journalist from The Guardian asked "congratulations Mr. Adeshola congratulations on purchasing the club how do you feel right now"

Adeshola replied " it feels good owning the club I've been a fan of since I can remember" journalists made note of husband reply

The Daily Mail asked " why the secretive nature of the deal and why did you keep the deal quite"

He took a moment to reply " the Glazer family and I have been in discussions since the middle of last year about my purchase of the club we decided to keep it quiet so as not to distract the players from completing their duties and ensuring a smooth as possible sale and transition period" the Journalists were that they have been in discussion for such a long time without them being aware

The Sun asked "Why purchase the club after the retirement of Sir, Alex Ferguson?"

He replied saying " I felt there wasn't a better time than now to purchase the club, the fans were Not happy with the previous owners and with the retirement of Sir, Alex I felt it a good time to acquire the club" Journalists were surprised he would outright mention the Glazers like that and fans on the scene were happy their feelings were acknowledged

The Manchester Evening News asked " What are your plans for the club now that you have purchased it"

He replied saying " My long term goal is ensure Manchester United maintains and improves its standing in world football. To show my seriousness to achieving my goals I have cleared the debt of the club in the acquisition of the club hence why the price was so high" fans were joyous and cheered to show their support. He let the fans express themselves before he continued " I will also be investing in our women football team, Our Youth academy, a total revamp of our facilities and improvement of the club stadium. While this are all short to medium term goals to achieve they are also influential into achieving our goals"

He continued "I would like to inform the fans that while I have laid out my plans for the club I would also like to remind them that Sir, Alex has retired and one doesn't get a legendary figure like that like one gets groceries so I would like the fans to temper their expectations as we're currently in a rebuilding process and the results they expect would take time and their constant support for the club that is all I ask of the fans. Thank you for attending this press conference" He left the hall with clicks of cameras accompanying him. Journalists and fans present were happy to have been present and were ecstatic for what the future holds.
