CH 27: Stomach ache

Natasha :"So did you get me anything for valentine, Ali?"

Ali :"Of course I did."

Natasha :"Oh? What did you get me?"

Ali :"My heart! *pulls out an actual heart from his Storage Bracelet*"

Natasha :"..."

Ali :"Well, technically someone else's. But they don't need it anymore."

"So, what are we here for again?" Ali Natasha as they sneaked around on a ship. Well, she sneaked around, Ali was just invisible. He, Natasha, Steve, and a SHIELD team had received a mission.

Natasha sighed as she turned to where his voice came from :"A ship has been taken over by some pirates, and we're here to get rid of them. I think we all went through this on the quinjet, detka (baby)?"

Ali nodded even though she couldn't see him :"Yeah, I remember that. I mean why am I here? You know I'm not one to sneak around. I would rather just go in full blasting." Causing Natasha to sigh again :"I wasn't the one who made the call.

Fury probably thought that your powers might come in handy, so he sent you as well. Also, we would be noticed if we did it your way. And in case you didn't know, we shouldn't be noticed."

"Nobody will notice, if there's nobody to notice." Ali said before Natasha rolled her eyes :"Can you please turn visible for a second?" He turned visible and raised an eyebrow before Natasha suddenly grabbed his collar, lowered him and kissed his lips.

The kiss went on for a few moments before Natasha pulled back and raised an eyebrow with a smirk :"Can I buy your silence in this mission with that kiss?" But Ali smirked mischievously as he wiggled his eyebrows :"You're gonna need to kiss me with another set of lips to buy my silence~."

Natasha playfully rolled her eyes as she pushed him away :"Dork." Ali chuckled as they continued sneaking before they met up with Steve :"What's the status, you two?"

"We took care of our part. I assume you did the same?" Natasha asked and Steve nodded :"Yeah, it's about time we took care of the boss here."

"That one?" Ali said as he pointed at the group of men who were aiming their guns while approaching. Natasha and Steve immediately took cover before they started blasting.

But Ali just turned Invisible and Intangible while they were shooting. Unbeknownst to them, Ali immediately ran towards them. When Natasha and Steve wanted to shoot, they saw that Ali suddenly turned visible and was in his Necrofriggian form instead.

"Here~." He spoke in his ghost-like voice before he opened his mouth and his three tongues shot out. To say that those guys were shocked when Ali's tongues tied around them and pulled him inside his mouth would be a complete underestimated.

Natasha and Steve were quite shocked as well as Ali smirked at them. However, a weird feeling suddenly appeared in his stomach as he felt like throwing up. He looked away and grabbed his mouth, but couldn't hold it as he opened his mouth and threw up the guys that he had just swallowed.

Ali shook his head to get himself together before he kicked all of those guys and made them faint :"What the hell???" Natasha and Steve walked towards him as Natasha put her hand on his back and rubbed his soothingly :"Ali, are you okay? I get that you can swallow anything, but I don't think swallowing a few people whole is good even for you and even for a moment."

Seeing that feeling had disappeared, Ali dismissed it as he waved his hand nonchalantly after he transformed back to his human form :"Nah, it's nothing. These punks barely count as midnight snacks when I'm using my Gourmand (Upchuck) DNA's abilities."

But that feeling of intense stomach ache from before returned as he leaned on a wall to not lose his balance. "Ali, what's wrong?!" Natasha quickly grabbed him in worry as he groaned while grabbing his stomach.

His eyes suddenly opened, but instead they were glowing a green and dark green color :"No, something's wrong. I felt like millions of stomachs are suddenly crying out in hunger."

His eyes stopped glowing as he suddenly passed out. But Natasha quickly grabbed him and stopped his fall :"Ali?! Ali, what happened?!"

A few days had passed since then, and ever since he had woken up, Ali had an annoying stomach ache. Natasha had also noticed it and how his appetite has decreased a lot.

So she had sat him down on the couch and was about to question him :"Alright, Ali, can you explain to me why this is happening? Do you know why or have any clues about it?"

Ali sighed as his stomach suddenly grumbled. Natasha put her hand over his stomach as he leaned back with a more comfortable look :"Ali, I'm worried about you. I want to know if there's anything I can do to help."

Ali sighed again before he nodded :"So you know that the reason why I can eat so much is because of my Gourmand (Upchuck) DNA, right? But do you know why I can eat so much?"

Natasha shook her head in denial and Ali answered :"It's because Gourmands share a swarm gastronomy, meaning that all Gourmand stomachs share the same link to a transpacific bladder inter-dimension. That's how we can eat so much."

Natasha nodded with a look of realization :"Okay, I understand. Rather gross, but whatever. So what does that have to do with your state in the past few days?"

Ali scratched his head with a sigh :"Basically, because of this, we won't have stomach aches, because it's not possible since it's a whole dimension of its own.

So if I'm having a stomach ache, it means that the entire species of Gourmand are having stomach aches for some reason because of our link. And basically, if I want to fix it, I have to fix whatever problem has happened to this race. Meaning I have to go to outer space."

Natasha was a little taken aback before a sad look appeared on her face :"Do you have to go? Won't it get fixed by itself if you leave it be?" And Ali shook his head as he held Natasha's hand :"I don't know what is happening in the Gourmand specie's planet, but if it was something that they could fix then they would've fixed it by now.

Whatever has happened, it was caused by external forces. And whoever has attacked them must be something else since they're putting the species that can eat anything on edge. If they couldn't have solved it by now, who knows what will happen next?

I wouldn't have cared normally, but I'm also suffering here, so I'd rather make it end. And well, Gourmands aren't really bright when it comes to their intelligence. So I need to go and take care of it." <I'm doing this since if Ali stays on Earth, I have no idea how Captain America: Winter Soldier is going to go. It would be stupid if Bucky manages to run away, and for me to write the entire movie since Ali can literally end it in an hour at most>

Natasha sighed as she squeezed Ali's hand :"How long will it take for you to return?" And Ali smiled softly while squeezing back :"The problem is how long I need to fly in space.

The entire matter when I reach my destination will be dealt with in a few hours at most, but it will probably take some time for me to reach there and return. A few months... Or a year or two..." <He could just make a teleporter, but that would take away the entire purpose of him going away since he would still be there in Captain America: Winter Soldier>

Natasha leaned against him as he hugged her :"I will wait for you. I hate to see you suffer, so I will let you go and take care of it. But take care of it quickly and return quickly, okay?"

Ali smiled as he hugged her tightly, but not tight enough to hurt her :"I love you, Nat. And I promise that I will take care of it quickly and return immediately after taking care of it.

Just have patience. Also, I have a gift for you. I was planning to give it to you on your birthday, but I kinda won't be there... So I wanted to give it to you now so you would be able to protect yourself."

Natasha glanced up with a smile to ease the mood, but how could Ali not see and sense the sadness :"What is it?" He squeezed her as he kissed her head. His Storage Bracelet flashed before an object appeared in his hand.

It was like a watch, but alien-like and extremely advanced. It was mainly black, but there were parts that were glowing with a red color :"I call it Omnitrix."
