Chapter eight

"am sorry sir....." Sophie said steadying herself as she freed her waist from his arms.

He helped her to grab the towels she wanted and stacked them up the table.

" Are you always this clumpsy, because I hate clumpsy people and it could get you fired" he said folding his arms.

What! Sophie thought.

"Am sorry sir, but slipping of a stool isn't clumpsiness, it could happen to anyone."

"Excuse me, not to me though, be careful next time, don't want to come home one day and find you dead on the floor"

Sophie stared at him and even as he was getting her pissed, she still couldn't fight her attraction to him. He was damn sexy...as sexy as a god

" Thanks for your concern..."

"Am not concerned, just don't want to have a dead body in my house" with this he walked out.

What! Her? A dead body. Seriously? She wasn't that clumpsy to even begin with.

The stool just slipped under her damn feet. Why was he so mean. He was not as good as she thought. Scumbag. She scoffed and grab the vacuum handle with some towels.

Marcus entered his bedroom and locked his door, his heart beating rate this morning seems to has increased, was he sick or what. Or.....was it the encounter with that his beautiful clumpsy maid? He must be mad for thinking her beautiful. He didn't find any woman beautiful! His phone rang up and he picked up.

" Stella?"

"Sir, your father's here to see you, should I send him over?"

"Dad is there? What does he want?" He asked getting even more frustrated.

" Sir.... He wouldn't talk, just said he want to see you as soon as possible"

" Do not send him over, tell him to either wait for an hour or tell him to leave if he can't, I resume work by ten, and won't change that for no reason."

" But sir..... Your father is a reason...."

" Stella!"

" Ok sir...am....am sorry sir. I'll relay you message to him" she stammered and ended the call.

Arrrrrhhhgggg.his father? What does he want this time. He thought as he took of his clothes and walked to the bathroom.

An hour later, Marcus came down the stairs ready to go to work when he sighted Sophie, she was cleaning the front glass, standing on her toes, and streaching as her hand could go. This had dragged her short gown up to reveal her slender long legs. And he found himself staring at them. She was sexy, he wanted to go over, grabbed her by the waist and kiss her sense...she turned around and found him staring.

" Sir....."

He didn't let her continue her sentence before he dashed out of the sitting room, slamming the door as he went.

She needs to get fired! For making him loose his thoughts.

Sophie stared at the closed door for a little while...not understanding what she did wrong.

" Did I say something wrong? " She asked herself.

Was she going to get fired? No....she did nothing wrong. She said to herself and got back to her work.

He was just an everyday angry man and trying all he could to get everyone around him as angry as he is. Scumbag. She thought.

Three hours later, Sophie was cleaning the second bedroom upstairs and having done with that, she moved to the forth. When she stepped in she was mesmerized. It was his own bedroom, with the biggest king sized bed she has seen. It was dimly lit because he had drawn the cottons closed before be left, she walked over to the window and opened it. The sight before her sent her crazy. It wasn't a window as she thought but was glass that begins from the far end of the room to the other side and outside was a very big blue pool.the colour of his eyes, pale blue. It was a very beautiful view but she got to work all the same.
