The treaty

The treaty that was signed after aftermath of the first great Nadira war was called treaty of Nadira. The treaty stated that the destruction occurred during the great war was solely due to the arrogance of the allied forces and Adiratheshwar was not responsible for the war and the factions each had to pay for the damage brought to the Adiratheshwar people and never should they ever raise there arms against the dragons again.

Both sides suffered terrible losses. Out of 3 million soldiers of allied forces only 200,000 survived. In the dragon army only 5000 survived. 90% of the survivor were injured on both sides. Even though the dragons won they suffered terrible losses. It was not a complete victory.

Things returned to normal in the kingdoms. They started reconstruction of the cities. One day sage Adiratha returned from his penance. Upon his return he saw destruction caused by the war. He summoned all four kings and asked for reason for the war. Upon hearing the reason given to him by his sons the great sage was greatly saddened. All his efforts to stop conflict gave raise new type of conflict,between his sons and the dragons. So the sage asked for the head of those who are responsible for the war. Upon there father's order the three sons gave there head to there father. Bhishma wanted to give his head also as he felt he was also one of people responsible by failing to stop the war. Upon seeing their bravery for accepting their failures the sage decided to give second chance to them. They would be reincarnated and all who died in the war as well. Until then the sage will rule the kingdom. Upon reincarnation the four kings will compete for throne of Nadira.

Hence all four kingdoms were reunited into one. The sage made his wife manavi queen of Nadira and asked her rule in his place. The sage turns to stone for over using his power. Queen rules kingdom and gets Nadira back to its former glory but had suffer various loss in process . 4000 years pass and the sage comes back to life. As promised the four king gets incarnated as a sons of sage Adiratha and Queen manavi. Hence the race for who becomes the king begins.

During this time the dragon population greatly reduced to only one dragons. As sage Adiratha was petrified the dragon could not consume mana hence they died of starvation and only one remained. He was named Brigodara. When dragons dies large mana is released. So civil war broke out. Brigodara was last surviving dragon and having survived this long he deemed to be the strongest dragon as he had fed of all mana of the dead dragons.

So the test to become king was to tame Brigodara. The one who tames Brigodara will be the king of the last and until then queen manavi will rule,and her sons will become generals of there respective faction. But Bhishma had no faction to command hence he was considered weakest among them. All four princes inherited there powers from there previous lives. So alone Bhishma was the strongest but he didn't have an army so he was considered weak. He had also not awaken his full power. As he is an dragon man now,a man who possess the power of a dragon.His full will be awakened once he tames Brigodara since he was the dragon king.
