The Meeting II

Dominic PoV

"Which one?" Sam asked me.

"The smaller." I answered short.

"Seriously?"

"So what?!"

"He look so fragile! Your taste is a bit different this time." He commented.

"I don't care. There is something about him." I said.

"Relax, you haven't known him yet. Yes his appearance pleased you but his personality is much more important." I sigh. Sam was right.

All of my previous partners are all after fame and wealth, one of them turn into a spy.

"Sorry to pop your bubbles boss."

"You are right. I can't deny that fact."

The Liam guy stood up from the table and my attention directed to them once again.

"Are you sure? I can send you home before I go." He said.

"No.. I still want to look for a few more things before I go but maybe you could bring all my shopping bags with you." Angel said cheekily.

"Sure, but I want you to be at home when I return. Understand?"

They live together?

They live together?!

"Relax...." Sam could see my emotions running wild.

"Doesn't mean anything yet.. They don't look like a couple to me." I'm not sure if Sam is trying to make me feel better or trying to stop me from putting a bullet inside his head.

After the taller leave my angel stood up and leave the restaurant and I decided to follow him. I'm trying to look for a chance to talk to him.

"Dom, you need to take this call." I sigh but I still ask my guards to tail him.

Sam is right next to me when I answer the call. It's a phone call from one of our alliance who ask for our help immediately because other rival group has kidnapped their child and ask them to become their spy on my gang as a return.

"Sir... The boy you asked Tim to followed is being disturb." The guards told me and I immediately hand over the phone to Sam to settle the rest because I can't have my angel be harm.

"Where?" They lead the way and luckily he is not far yet.

My eyes see red when I see 3 men shamelessly disturbing my angel that he almost cry.

One of the man is pulling his bag. "Come on baby... Let us take you home."

Another is pulling his hand. "We will take care of you."

"Leave me or I call the cops!" Angel threatened.

The third man grab his ass and my angel turn and kick his small ball but he is quick to recover and slap my angel so hard that he fall.

I can't no longer watch because the man is trying to hit him again but I kick him on the face before he could land his hand on my angel face again. My guards took charge and detain the 3 of them.

"Are you alright?" I squat down to help him stand. His cheek is bruised and a bit bloody from the lips.

"Can you walk?" He noded.

I help him to a nearby restaurant so he could calm down.

I ordered water for him and some ice for his bruised cheek. After a while he looks a bit relax.

"Thank you for helping me." For the first time he sweet voice is for me.

"It's nothing. I'm Dominic by the way."

"oh... Sorry. My name is Llyod."

Llyod.

I like it.

"Do you know them?" He shake his head.

"I think, we should see a doctor to look at your wound."

"No... It's okay. It's not that bad. I'm used to this."

"What do you mean?" He look at me surprise by his own word.

"Nothing..its fine."

"Do you want me to send you home?"

He is thinking while feeling his bruised cheek.

"I don't think so. I rarely went out so if I go home now, I can't get the things I need." He said, already calm and smiling a little bit.

He took out his phone from his back pocket but sigh later. When I look at the broken screen. I know why. I'm sure he wanted to call Liam after what had happened to him.

"Thank you so much for helping me earlier." I can see he is blushing when our eyes met. Beautiful eyes.

"I'm taking your time. I should leave." He said still blushing.

"Wait.. You told me earlier that you still want to shop right? I can go with you, if you don't mind me accompanying you."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course angel." the word just slip out my mouth and now his ears are red.

So we walk out of the cafe but I told my man to follow us discreetly. I don't want to scare my angel. I feel like we are already on our first date.

"Are you looking for something specific?"

"I'm looking for a laptop and a new phone."

We enter an electronic shop where they sell both things my angel needed. He is carefully choosing the requirement he wants on the laptop and the phone forgetting his surroundings.

His angelic face draws attention wherever he goes. Wild, lustful and envy eyes of people are always on him but he is just that innocent to notice.

I followed him quietly as he choose every thing he need and as he finalize which he is going to buy and ready to make payment, he proceed to the counter.

"Total amount is $2500. How are you going to pay?"

"Card." I hand over my card but Llyod is quick to take it before the cashier could swipe it.

"Please... I pay for my own." He said.

"But..."

"No.. But.." He immediately swipe his card and make payment.

Others would be very happy to have me pay for them. They would even add more things on the counter.

I manage to convince him to send him home which I'm very happy. Apparently his house is just nearby so I wouldn't have much time with him.

"Llyod? Could I get you number? If you don't mind?"

I ask him when we stop in front of his house.

He said yes and type in his phone number to my phone.

"Thank you again for today. You are so kind to me." He said.

"I'm happy to help you anytime angel." He blush again and it's hard to hold back.

"I'll call you." I said when he is stepping out of my car.

"I'll wait for you then." He said smiling.
