Chapter 15: Love or Love? (Part 2)

Cecilia's POV

Cecilia took a deep breath as she sat on the couch and drinks mineral water. "What's going on today? Does Julia confess?" Cecilia groans because he Nonna teased her.

"Stopped it!" Cecilia leaned her head at her Nonna's shoulder. She bites her lip. She wouldn't to see her Nonna sad, she won't.

They straightened their feet and sigh. She already predicts what will happen for the next two weeks. Your fate sealed when the prophecy spoke. Cecilia stood up and walked to her room.

She tries her best to ignore what was happening today, but she couldn't do that. Ironically, it's true. Her Nonno's diseases come back. She locked herself inside her bedroom to get some time to think. What she should do next? She hasn't recovered from Chester, and this feeling made her overwhelmed.

She needs Julia, but she hasn't called her since they last met.

Rico looks at Cecilia's Nonno and Nonna. He approaches them. "How…" before he finished, they left. Rico took a deep breath and clenched his fist. Cecilia hates him, and so her remain family. Rico sat on the couch and closed his eyes.

"A boomerang returns to the person who throws it." Maria said, as she handed Rico food and warm clothes. Rico kneels on the floor and begged for forgiveness.

Julia's POV

Julia stood up, as she saw Nikolai approached her, "do you bring the man?" Julia raised her eyebrow and took a deep breath. "I have little time, Nikolai." She said.

Nikolai walked away from Julia and her henchmen. She puts her hand inside her hoodie and took a deep breath. Russian mafioso was the most feared criminal organization in the world. They are more organized and careful. Also, they are cautious and have a lot of resource. They rule on the streets and the elite. Besides all of that, they have 'value of life' and they will kill their victim mercilessly.

A group of people walks to Julia and her henchmen. Dimitri, with a smile on his face, greets her warmly. "Welcome, welcome, amica?" Julia rolled her eyes.

"I'm here not for a chit-chat, Dimitri. I'm here for a business!" Dimitri smiled as he patted Julia's shoulders and squeezed it.

"The Lady doesn't like to wait, boys," Nikolai put a package of 'chocolate,' on the table.

"Only a package!? I asked three, Dimitri!" She snatched.

"Gave this girl what she wants." They gave two more packages of 'chocolate.'

"Let's we do some quality check, shall we?" Julia took her folding-knife and ripped the package. Inside the package, she saw a lot of dried leaves and she sniffs it.

"It's good," her henchmen pushed Mr. Anderson on the ground.

"Don't try your own product," Julia wiped her knife, and looks at her ex-chauffeur, he bagged to her to not leave him. Julia ignores him and they left the building, followed by an enormous explosion from behind her. She looks at the fire as she smiled.

She tries to send a message to the all her associates to not betrayed her or else. She looking at the package and smiled. "Sell the 'chocolate' to these addresses." She gave her henchmen a scratch of paper with addresses written.

She opened her car door and looks at her henchmen, "I don't want all of you to fail and got caught, it's a hotspot, I know we disturbing some gangs or cartel there, but I want you to prepare to defend yourself." She opened her trunk. They dropped their jaws as she opened the trunk.

She explained, "I want all of you registered this weapon, but if you want to shoot someone, don't use it! No matter what happened, don't use it, it's dangerous. Put it inside your gloves' compartment." She said as she put all the boxes on the ground.

"W-wait, i-it's a test, right?" Julia raised her eyebrow.

"No, I'm serious," Julia heard a lot of her henchmen whispering.

"Tick-Tock, gentlemen, we don't have all day long. " All of her henchmen picked the gun one-by-one and inspect it.

"See you tomorrow," she walked to her car, and drove to Cecilia's house.

Cecilia's POV

Cecilia pushed her plate while Rico devoured his meal and took a deep breath and heard her Nonno whispering. She tapped her finger on the table, and thinking about the Don. What she doing now? Does she have cosa notra tonight? She was thinking about her since morning.

"Cecilia, what's wrong?" Rico asked. Cecilia straightened her body.

"Nothing," Rico put the fork and followed by the people on the table.

"Are you mad at me?" Cecilia exhaled.

"Why she kept you alive!?" Rico shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know, Cecilia. she could kill me, but I don't know." Rico said. He stood up and kneel next to Cecilia and grabbed her hand.

"I'm sorry, I…" She pulled her hand, then stood up.

"Cecilia…" Rico followed her to her room, but he can't.

"Please, go!" She shouts. She sat on the floor as she hugged her knee.

She needs Julia now, only her that can stop her from crying. Tonight is when she wants her. "I know what I did was wrong, but can you let me in, so I can explain it to you!" Rico banged her door several times until Maria stopped it with a sound of a loaded gun.

She took a deep breath. "Stop it, or I'll shot you?" Rico raised his hand, then Maria put the gun down. "Do you remember the rules, Rico? I bet you have a place to stay tonight." Rico took a deep breath and looked at Maria.

"Non…" Maria glared at him, "Mrs. Montella," Maria walked to her room and leaves Rico alone.

Julia's POV

Julia knocked on the door room of 308 and she hasn't got an answered, "Maybe they already sleeping," Julia thoughts. She heard a notification on her phone. She widen her eyes and barged into the room. Rico, who sat on the couch, jolted as he heard someone barged in.

He fells from the couch. Julia stared at him and asked for Cecilia. "Where's…." before she could finish her words, Cecilia approached the Don and hugged her. "Why make you took so long!?" Rico clenched his fist and jaw while he saw his crush hugged Julia. His eyes and face turned into red.

It's his change, but Cecilia's Nonno and Nonna's stopping him by calling his name. He should oblige to them if he wants to stay for tonight. No commotion happened, and the night ended up peacefully.
