Chapter 14: Love or Love? (Part 1)

Julia's POV

Julia blinking several times as she sat on the bed. "Where am I?" She looks surround her and touched her wound. She narrowed her eyebrow.

Cecilia greet her with a coffee in her hand and sat in front of her. "Good morning," Julia looked at her.

"W-we do nothing, right?" Cecilia nods. Julia stood up and looked at the window.

"Do you serve breakfast?" Cecilia narrowed her eyes.

Cecilia sip her coffee while Julia complaining about this and that. Cecilia walked towards her and tapped her shoulder. She jumped and accidentally tripped. Accidentally kissed her lips.

They stared into each other's eyes. No one dare to speak because of this awkward moment. Julia and Cecilia can hear their own heartbeat. Jula stroke her hair and gave her unthreatening smile. "Can I know your last name?" Julia asked her.

"Uh-huh," Cecilia taunted her.

They stood up, and she put Julia put her hand inside her pocket and kissed her lips again. Their lips felt sting and sure.

Cecilia finally makes a move. She tangling her fingers oh her shirt and pulling them deep inside.

They closed their eyes and enjoy their moment until the sound of knocked door, interrupted their kisses. Cecilia pushed Julia aside, and she tripped again.

"Argh…" Julia whine as she falls on the ground. Cecilia gasp as she covered her mouth.

"Julia!? Are you okay?" Julia picked her white cane and took a deep breath.

Nonno barged into Cecilia's room and looked at the duo. "Good morning, the breakfast is ready." He announced and closed the door.

Julia grabbed her jacket and her phone. Cecilia bites her lip. "Julia, wait." She looks at her while she was wearing her jacket. "Can you stay for the breakfast?" She raised her eyebrow.

"Let's go. I want to know your tradition," Julia said. The duo walked to the dining room together while their hand tangling to each other.

Julia looks at Maria, who was sipping her coffee. "Good morning, Nonna," Julia took a glance as they both sit next to each other.

Julia looks at the table. "Do you want P&J's or cornetto?" Julia fills her lungs with roasted coffee bean.

"It's a coffee bean?" She tested the coffee. Julia widened her eyes, "oh, God. Which brand is it?" She put the cup on the table.

Cecilia picked her bread and told Julia the secret, "it's Nespresso," Julia furrowed her brow.

"Nespresso?" Julia took a peek on the Cecilia's kitchen counter. "A coffee machine?" Cecilia nods. Julia feels her phone was vibrating.

Julia munching her bread and drinks her coffee, then wiped her mouth with a napkin and stood up. She walked to the parking lot, leaving them with a dropped jaw.

Cecilia's POV

Cecilia blinked her eyes several times. She doesn't believe that Julia could munch whole bread. "So, what will we gonna do today?" Nonno asked as he chewed his cereal.

Cecilia puts her breath on the plate and sips her coffee. "Maybe we should go to our store and cleaned everything, but we haven't discussed it yet." She said.

Cecilia put her jaw on the table. "And I don't hear Giusto. Where was he?" she hinted.

Maria took a deep breath as she stood up and walks away. She opened the door and saw Tommy bring a pie in his hand.

"G-good morning, Mrs. Montella," Maria crossed her arms and glared at him. Tommy's face turned into pale and his hand trembling.

"Are you made a mistake again!?" He shook his head and handed her the pie, then running to his room.

Maria sighed, and she walked basement by herself.

Julia's POV

Julia opened the door and everyone inside the room turned into paled. She swung her baseball bat to the person attacked her. All people inside the building running, hide, or they docked under the table. Julia took a deep breath and looks at a guy in front of her.

"J-Julia," Julia knocked him. She dragged the man and into the backroom. All of her henchmen pointing a gun and taking hostage for remaining people inside that building.

Julia throws the man, and he kneels in front of her. "I-I will pay, I swear! I-I will pay my debt," Julia walked to his desk and opened his drawer.

"I respect privacy, Harold, but it's the last warning, right?" Julia's Henchmen holds his shoulder. "The interest are getting high, and higher, Harold." Julia walked to Harold, and she rubbed his face with her baseball bat.

"P-please…" Harold bagged.

Julia raised her eyebrow and read every page inside his accountant book. Julia was wearing her gloves and scratched her cheek. "You ruined my mood, Harold." She stood up and approached Harold as he dragged her baseball bat.

"N-no, please! I-I have a wife and a kid! Y-you l-like c-children, right?" Harold's heart pounding fast and sweat dripping all over his bodies. Harold struggle, but her henchmen's strength not matched from Harold's skinny and scruffy body.

As Harold closed his eyes, Julia stopped and looked at him. She swung her baseball bat on his face and her henchmen let him falls on the ground. Julia saw her prayed quivered and whining. "The business you doing not well because you scammed people, and I saw you withdrew your company's money for your fancy lifestyles," Julia break his legs and he screamed.

"You already bankrupt, and I hope you declared your bankruptcy to the public due tomorrow, if not you gonna die." Julia picked the book and walked to the outside Harold's office. They looking at Julia in horror and she sighed. She walked towards to Harold's secretary desk, then climbed it.

"Listen up! This company was bankrupt! No one got payed after all of you resigned for today, but I do!" She showed Harold's secretary a book, and she threw on the floor, "he used his company assets for his family!" Julia jumped down.

She heard a police cars sirene outside of the office and they walked into lift calmly. "What will you do next?" Julia took a glance.

Cecilia's POV

Cecilia and her Nonno walked inside of their shops and they took a deep breath. She dragged her feet, and she sat on the couch inside that room. "Can you tell me a fortune, Cecilia?" Her Nonno asked as he sat in front of him and he opened his hand.

"You said you never believed in satanic ritual!?" She rubbed his hand carefully.

"What the Satan said?" He teased Cecilia.

Cecilia pouted as she continues rubbing his hand. "Can I know about your birthday?" She asked.

He mimicked his granddaughter, "you know my birthday, Cecilia. Why would you ask!?" Cecilia grumbled.

She took a deep breath and tried her best to hold her tears in front of him. "Your death will come near soon, Nonno. Are you aware of that? Your disease will come back, and…" Cecilia rubbed again his hand.

"And?" Cecilia tries her best to hold her tears.

"You only h-have time two weeks from today," He smiles. Cecilia's Nonno embrace her as she burst into tears. She hates to say to his Nonno, but it's her job. To predict and tell.

"I'm proud of you, Cecilia. You already grown up now, and you have a lovely girlfriend." Nonno said. "I hope she can protect you when I'm gone." He added.

Nonno wiped her tears and he placid as his tears streamed down. "She's not my girlfriend yet," Cecilia said. An opened door opened. Cecilia wiped her tears abruptly and clears her throat. She and her Nonno stood up and greeting their customer.
