"We all were faced with selfishness at that time." I continued. "You have a baby that you need to give birth to, right?"

"Yes." Yumi tilted her head to the ground.

I was selfish. Probably more than everyone else. I just wanted to save my friends. I didn't want to lose what was close to me.

"So, what are we going to do now? Is the battle over?" Yazoyo asked.

Another message popped up into my notifications. "Yep! I shall send you all back to to the fountain area. ヾ(＠＾▽＾＠)ﾉ"

"Ah." After I sighed, we were sent back to the fountain area where we all were prior to battling.

I looked up and saw less people than we saw before. It was still a large amount, but not as much.

"I wonder how many guilds there are now?" I questioned.

"Well, you can look in the Issekai New World handbook. That usually tells you about the characters and guilds. (๑¯ω¯๑)b" The developer reminded me.

"Oh, that's true." I then opened my handbook and saw how many guilds there were. "Wow. 30 exactly. But if you think about that, it doesn't make sense. There were 50 guilds and two guilds fight against each other, wouldn't there be only 25 left?" I questioned.

"Well you see...(~3~) there were some guilds who tied while battling. I felt bad if I just killed them both off. It wouldn't be that fun. ┐(´д｀)┌ So, I decided to let them live. Might as well make an even 30. 25 is too odd. But I can't promise that I will be that nice next time. (ヾﾉ･ω･`)No."

So, I didn't need to hurt them. We could have possibly both survived.

A thought then popped into my head that that moment. "Hey developer."

"I'm still angry at you, you slut!٩(๑`^´๑)۶"

"Is it possible that you are a player in this game?"

For a minute, the developer went quiet. "Why would I risk my life by being a player? ( • ᎑ • 💢)"

"Oh I see. You are smart right, developer?"

"Then what gender am I?"

"Why out of all the questions you could have asked?"

"Because most people don't know. If you are the developer, then you should know my gender, right?"

I then looked around the area for anyone or anything that could possibly be looking at me. Everything looked normal. Nothing out of the ordinary.

"Haruta! We were looking all over for you." Yumi and the rest ran up to me.

"Oh, you guys were looking for me?" I asked.

I guess I was wrong about the developer being one of us.

"Anyway. What are we going to do now?" Sakura asked.

"Why aren't you answering me?! （╬ಠ益ಠ)"

"Hey, do you guys receive messages from the developer of the game?"

"Yeah. More like these." Yazoyo showed me his inbox with a message that read:

I looked at his worried face. "No reason. Don't worry about it." I smiled and then continued walking towards the path to a new area.

"Oh, wait leader!" Yazoyo followed behind. Yumi and Sakura then tailed him and caught up to us.
