CHAPTER-1

YUMI'S POV

'Finally! Its Friday' she said with relief.

Yumi has been looking forward to the weekend for past 3 weeks. Her big project just ended and it was a big relief for her. She smiled to herself and said" Should i go and meet Andrew ? Haven't seen him in 4 weeks. He has been so thoughtful and understanding all this time."

"I SHOULD PREPARE DINNER FOR HIM TONIGHT AS A SURPRISE" she shouted excitedly as the idea struck her, but quickly looked to the sides to see if anyone heard her. Fortunately the floor was empty as it was already 5:30 PM and everyone has already left the building. As she giggled to herself, she gathered all her stuffs and rushed towards the lift . As soon as she reached the basement, she quickly ran to her car.

The mart was quite empty for a Friday evening,

'OH WHAT A LUCKY DAY!' ,she murmured. She quickly took the cart and went towards the vegetable aisle. 'These carrots are so fresh . I can make Andrew's favorite Carrot soup with these. I should grab some freshly baked fruit bread .' Then she moves towards the in-house bakery and picks up some . 'Should i try some ready-made salad too? I should . And some ice-cream !!! Andrew loves ice-creams .' She then made her walk towards the billing counter when her eyes suddenly fell on the Wine section. ' Ooo and how can i forget Wine ! Mm what's this " SETTE BY FRATELLI WINES ", Indian red wine ! Interesting. I've heard about this one . I should give it a try.' She then took the Wine bottle and headed towards the billing counter.

The engine stops in front of Andrew's apartment building.

She gets out of her car along with her grocery and heads towards the lift. 'I'm gonna make amazing dinner with all these.'

*keys jingling.* Yumi then enters the code to the front door and goes inside as quietly as she could and looks around for Andrew, not seeing anyone she moves towards the kitchen and takes out grocery to prepare the dinner. Where is Andrew? She thought and headed toward the bedroom. The sheets were all messed up and she could hear the water running in the bathroom tub. Excited to see her boyfriend she sat on the side couch and waited. As she was looking at the documents laid on top of the side table, she heard a women's voice. For a second she thought it was her imagination , but then she hears a very clear laugh of a women. This makes her mind go blank and thinks-' It can't be… That's not possible.' She chuckles to herself. The increasing sound of their moans brings her back to the reality she was trying to avoid. But now her cheerful side turned cold. She takes out her phone and dials. After one ring the caller picks up.

"Clear out his things now."

Just then the door to the bathroom opens and a man and a woman comes out kissing and giggling ,wrapped around each other's arms in robes.

" YUMI" the man goes as pale as a sheet of paper and pushes the woman away.

" Hello Andrew." she smiles as they both goes into a bad shock. The room suddenly got cold and silent.

Then she looks at the woman, as shocked as she is., Yumi doesn't flinch and looks back at her so-called boyfriend and goes

" Your things will be delivered to you within 2 hours" as she gets ups and leaves the room she looks back at the woman and says "Will see you tomorrow Helen."

The pair couldn't say anything and just stood there blankly in fear.

Yumi goes towards the kitchen and took all the things she bought for Andrew except the carrots . 'Huh! It would be waste to leave this wine and ice-cream here. He can have that carrot soup by himself. I'll better treat myself tonight.'

She then leaves the apartment and goes towards her car.

*engine starting*

'I should reach home before the ice-cream melts!' as she controls her emotions, she tells herself.

Just then a call comes flashing the name ' JOY<3'

"HEYYY BABE!!! Congrats on the project completion! We should celebrate tonight! Shit are you with Andrew ???.. Right. He is more important than your own best friends!" As she keeps on talking she realizes the caller at the other side is not replying. She gets worried "Yuuu babe! Babe! Are you okay what's up? Why aren't you replying???

The emotions that she was controlling came out flowing as she hears her best friend's voice.

"He cheated on me.." she tells and then bursts into tears.

"WAIT ! WHAT! THAT ASSHOLE DID WHAT? ? WHO THE FUCK IS SHE ??? DO YOU KNOW HER ?? " Joy shouted.

"Helen….

"WHAT? WTF!!WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?"

on my way back home" said Yumi.

Joy went in shock for a second and then she says ,"WHAT A BITCH! SHE DIDN'T EVEN LEAVE HER FRIENDS!!!

Okay, you reach home , We're also on our way." call ends.
