Love in a place where fingers mean world [BL]

“He was standing at the edge of the rooftop, looking down at the ground. It looked like paradise. Full of trees, lawns, kids playing happily outside. He looked at them with jealousy. Why can’t he be like them? Why did he have to suffer so much? ’I would jump somewhere else…’ A deep voice sounded behind him, changing everything.” Not everyone can live a happy life. Yitian woke up and saw a handsome sleeping face in front of him. He smiled slightly but kept on lying in the bed, just to not wake up this person. He had to get up and watch over the construction work in their new house.

It had already been a long time since he became part of the team and actually nothing much changed. Yitian was a member of the unofficial team, getting paid.

They even won the local SoL championship, they completely overwhelmed other teams. They won all two battles. Yitian chuckled inside his head. Winning an amateur tournament made Chao really think that they are really prepared to become official.

But they needed a place to stay before that. And that was where Yitian came into view. A month ago he was given plans for a house and he was supposed to redesign and reconstruct, so that it could be used by them.

He looked at the person beside him and was really grateful for everything that Chao did for him. They hadn't much memories together, because all they did in those past years was playing games.

They even missed their birthdays. They themselves forgot about them and celebrated that they bought a cake the next day, ate it and played more SoL.

Yitian took the phone from his nightstand and took a picture of sleeping Chao. Nobody would guess that this Sleeping Beauty, he slept a lot more than Yitian, was so demanding and domineering. And last of all, he was so eager to win, that he sulked for a whole day after they lost.

Yitian looked at the gallery inside his phone. He wasn't taking much pictures, most of them were his and Chao's selfies, that Chao insisted on taking and posting on Weibo. His last one was taken months ago.

It was him and Chao posing for a selfie at dawn, the beautiful sun rising behind them. They were on a Victoria's peak and it was right after they had a nice time together.

"I promised you two years ago to take you here. Now I'm fulfilling my promise," Chao said, while blindfolding Yitian.

"Okay. But do you have to blindfold me? I will trip and break my hand. And you know how precious my fingers are," Yitian answered, but Chao made a last knot on the silky shawl which he put over Yitian's eyes.

He took Yitian's hands and carefully helped him to go through the forest. He pointed out every stone and stick that Yitian could trip over. When they finally arrived at the destination, he sat him down to a prepared stool.

"Wait here, keep your eyes closed and when I tell you, open your eyes." Yitian listened to the quiet around them and nodded. He felt the silk slip from his face and smiled.

"Now," Chao whispered near Yitian's ear. Yitian opened his eyes and couldn't believe the beauty he saw.

The surrounding forest was quiet and dark. In the sky only a few stars could be seen, together with the moon covered with foggy clouds. They could see the Hong Kong city lights were shining in the background.

But the most beautiful thing was the little stars flying around them. Yitian who never saw fireflies was amazed. They were like a little shiny jewels lighting up the forest, making it look really fantastical. It looked like a scene from a movie.

Yitian turned around to face Chao, but he was so close that he accidentally brushed his lips against his cheek.

"I'm sorry," he said shyly and moved back a bit, but Chao just smiled and did nothing.

"Thank you. It's really beautiful. I like… it." Chao looked at Yitian, right before the last word, and scared him a bit. He then sat beside him.

"I thank you. You helped me achieve my dream. And that's the most important to me." Chao said and took Yitians hand. He drew the character for thanks on his palm, and then Chao did the same for his own and joined them together.

"You are like another part of me. I would never have enough confidence to do this. Not even meet other players. I was always the lone wolf in games, but you changed me. And I really thank you for that." Yitian said nothing else.

They were just sitting there, talking about the thing needed for their team. It was a warm night, so they had no need to go back to the apartment, so they ended up talking long. When the sun started to rise, both of them were surprised.

"Where the time disappeared?" Chao was surprised when he saw the first rays of the new day. And Yitian was the same. Because he loved spending time with Chao like that. When he saw the handsome face enlightened by orange light. He noticed the changes in his heart completely.

Somehow in the span of three years his feeling for Chao changed from being pissed at the stranger that ratted him out, to love for the caring person, that did everything in his power to help him.

"Let's take a selfie." It was the first time that Yitian himself suggested that, because he wanted to keep those memories, at least in this selfie.

Chao nodded and moved himself to Yitian, taking out the phone. Chao tilted his head to Yitian and smiled slightly at the camera. The picture was taken and saved.

"Post it to Weibo. It came out beautifully," Chao said after checking out the picture, but Yitian hid his phone away.

"Not a chance. That's only for me. My memory." Chao opened his mouth but said nothing and closed it again. Then he got up and stretched out his hand to help Yitian up. Yitian took his hand and pulled himself up. They both used too much strength and Yitian was sprawled on Chao's chest the next moment.

For Yitian it was a tiny bit embarrassing. He blushed a bit, his heart beating fast. But Chao looked at him and smirked.

"I guess you still like my chest so much, huh?" He chuckled when Yitian punched him in his 'awesome' chest and turned away from him.

"Go to hell, idiot," Yitian said and walked down the hill with Chao following him.

"Are you having a great time?" Chao asked, spooking Yitian, who dropped the phone with the picture open. He was too immersed in his memory that he didn't notice Chao waking up until it was already late. Chao picked up the phone and looked at it.

"Oh, I love this picture too. It's a shame that u don't want to share it. But it is a beautiful memory." Chao said, Yitian snatched the phone away.

"I need to go to oversee the construction." He got up from the bed.

"Can I go with you?" Chao smiled and asked. Yitian could do nothing than nod.
