Chapter 74 : Safe haven.

Third person point of view

Junkyu finished the fruits and Ji Ho went back to her work. Junkyu looked around and sighed. He got up and walked out of there. He went to the garden and spent time there. He sat there for a while and then walked around aimlessly. He didn't have anything on his mind. He didn't even notice how much time has passed.

" Junkyu ". Junkyu heard Haruto's voice call for him and turned in that direction. Haruto was standing near the door still in his dress from work. He was looking at him too. Junkyu smiled and walked up to him. Haruto didn't say anything. He took Junkyu's hand and walked him to their room. Junkyu silently went with Haruto.

They entered the room and Haruto closed the door. Junkyu stood in place as Haruto was removing his coat and tie. Haruto put them away and unbuttoned the shirt a little and rolled his sleeves. He then went and sat comfortably on the bed. Junkyu tilted his head looking at Haruto not knowing what was happening.

Haruto turned to Junkyu after settling down and opened his arms. Junkyu smiled and moved his feet. He got on bed and onto Haruto's lap hugging him like a koala. Haruto hugged him back just as tight. Junkyu let out a shaky breath. He really liked Haruto's hugs. He felt very safe in his arms and it comforted him a lot. He felt like he could face anything.

" I wanted to come right away but it felt like I should give you some time and space ". Haruto said rubbing Junkyu's back. Junkyu felt a lot better with Haruto by his side and he did get over it from the time he finished the conference. He didn't regret it. He would never regret it. He just felt too overwhelmed with too many things in his mind at that moment.

But by now, he felt fine and more clearheaded. " Thank you so much. But you should've come. I wouldn't have minded it ". Haruto smiled. " Feeling better ? " Junkyu nodded. " A lot better ". " You- " " Don't tell me I shouldn't have done it. I wanted to do it ". Junkyu said in a determined voice. Haruto chuckled. " I guess I am not the only one who can read minds here ".

Junkyu smiled too. " I understood by the tone the moment you started ". " Wow ". Haruto said finding it amusing. Junkyu chuckled and pulled away. Haruto held Junkyu's face in his. " Good job ". Junkyu smiled looking like he wanted to cry. He shook his head and took a deep breath. " Why~ ? " Haruto asked seeing Junkyu.

Junkyu shook his head again and sniffled. " I feel too light and relieved ". Haruto held Junkyu's face and traced his thumb on his cheeks. He put their foreheads together and closed his eyes. Junkyu took a deep breath and closed his eyes too. Haruto moved forward kissing Junkyu. Junkyu put his hand on Haruto's and kissed him back.

Haruto hugged Junkyu again. Junkyu felt a lot at peace being with Haruto like that. He didn't need anything else at that moment. He felt happy. " I love you ". Junkyu said holding Haruto tighter. " I love you too baby ". Haruto said beside Junkyu's ear and kissed his head. Junkyu closed his eyes tightly and took a few deep breaths.

When he pulled away this time his smile was back on his face. Haruto also smiled looking at Junkyu's genuine smile. " Take a photo with me. I want to flaunt properly and officially now that I have a chance ". Junkyu got up and pulled Haruto along with him to the wardrobe. He really liked the mirror there.

Junkyu made Haruto stand facing him and he was standing in front of Haruto but a little to the side. Junkyu was facing the mirror and Haruto's back was to the mirror. Junkyu took out his phone to take a photo. He wanted to make sure Haruto's face wouldn't be seen. Even if it did a little, he wanted it to not be clear.

Haruto stood with his hands on his hips waiting for Junkyu to give him any directions. " What are you doing ? " He asked after a minute, looking at Junkyu who was struggling hard to adjust the angle. " I am trying to- " Haruto put his hand around Junkyu's waist pulling him closer. Junkyu stared in shock and blinked continuously.

Haruto put his face close to Junkyu's but it still didn't show in the photo. " Take it now ". " W-what are you doing ? " Junkyu's voice was trembling. Haruto smirked holding Junkyu tighter. " You want to flaunt right ? So do it right then. Take it ". Junkyu narrowed his eyes but decided he might as well take it.

He put his hand on Haruto's shoulder and tiptoed so that his face was clearer and smiled. He took a few shots giving different expressions. Haruto was only looking at Junkyu with a smile. Junkyu then bent backward like a girl dancing salsa. Haruto immediately tightened his grip on Junkyu's waist.

Junkyu gave a big smile and took a photo. Haruto pulled him up and saw Junkyu laughing. " Be careful. What if I lost my grip or footing ? You will get hurt then ". Haruto scolded clearly concerned. " You are right here. There is no way I will get hurt. You will not let go too ". Junkyu said sounding confident.

Haruto shook his head and couldn't suppress his smile when he saw Junkyu beaming. Junkyu then hugged Haruto completely and took one photo. He tried taking one more photo resting his chin on Haruto's shoulder. " Why did you grow so tall ? " Junkyu said not able to stand like that. Haruto chuckled.

" Come here. Let me help. Don't strain your neck too much ". Haruto said and picked Junkyu up. Junkyu wrapped his legs around Haruto's torso. He hugged him again and now it was easier to take the photo. Haruto buried his face in Junkyu's neck. Junkyu tilted his head towards Haruto's and took a photo. He grinned happily looking at the results.
