Report! He's Hiding a Woman!

Ever since Lin Que's graduation ceremony, Lucas has been staying over at his parent's house. He was lazying around the house as the housemaid, Auntie Emma, maintained the house. She also cooked for his meals and asked for his daily preferences.

Since he wasn't a picky eater, he ate whatever Auntie Emma made. Although he's eaten plentiful delicacies, he always preferred her cooking over those five stars rated ones. He purposely left today's schedule empty to go out with Lin Que because he was getting off work early for once.

Hugging the cushion to his stomach, he turned from side to side on the couch, expressing his discomfort from boredom. He checked his WeChat to see if Lin Que has replied to any of his spammed messages since this morning.

"Tch! Nothing! Hmph! Did you think this young master wants to play with big bro all day? Blehhhh! Meanie! You even said you were excited to see me, yet I haven't seen your pretty face since graduation!!"

He reenacted the loving hug moment that he and Lin Que shared during the ceremony in front of Auntie Emma as she dusted the flour from her apron. She smiled at Lucas' words and laughed out loud when she saw his exaggerated actions. "Young master Lucas, your mouth says you don't want to play with your brother, but your actions gave your true feelings away. If you want to look for him, why not visit him at the hospital?"

Lightly bumping his loosened fist to his open palm, he said, "Right! He usually responds only when he is off from work. Maybe he had another shift to fill in and couldn't find time to reply back! Auntie Emma is so smart! Then I'm leaving!"

Jumping off the couch, he slipped into his sneakers and rushed out of the house. Driving his parent's car, he happily jammed to the Chandelier song by Sia on the way to the hospital. Though he was extremely off-tune, he was very excited to see his brother's surprised expression.

He checked the timing and smiled, "Hehe~ It's morning time overseas. I'll call mom and dad later then." With his steady driving, he reached the hospital and carefully parked the car. Even though his driving skills were decent, his parking skills were rather lacking. There were many times where he accidentally scraped others' vehicle or his own car against an object.

"Phew...mission completed." He stepped out of the car and pressed the lock button on the remote controller. Turning around, he walked towards the hospital's entrance. Since it was around 2 P.M. right now, Lin Que should be on break. Lucas calculated using his fingers before nodding and walked straight down the parking lot.

It's been a while since he had visited the hospital. Therefore, he looked around as he walked to see if there were any noticeable changes. His bright smile froze on the spot and stiffly turned back to the left where he had just looked at.

Blinking a few times and mumbling it was an illusion, he opened his eyes once again. '...So it's not being on duty...He was ignoring my messages!' From his angle just now, he only saw Lin Que walking casually across the parking lot. Due to the angle, he failed to see Lily walking beside him.

As he reached out his phone to snap a picture of Lin Que's back to caption it on his WeChat moments, he saw Lily walking next to him. He could only see their back view, but Lin Que was being too careful with the girl that it made him suspicious.

Snapping photos along the way, he listed the movements that Lin Que made on his phone as evidence to shove to his face later. Lucas smirked and added the new pictures to a new album.

Album name: "Brother is hiding a woman! Finally Graduated from Single Life?"

Chasing into the hospital, he managed to see the two of them get into the elevator alone. He watched as the elevator went upwards and smiled, "Hehe~ Found your floor."

Quickly, he skipped up the stairs, hoping to catch stronger evidence of them together. The head nurse recognized his face and greeted, "Aiyo! Lucas! Long time no see! Wow, you've grown taller."

"Hahaha, yes!! It's been a long time. I'm in a rush right now. Do you know where my brother is?"

The head nurse nodded and pointed down the hallway. She recognized Lily's face and told Lucas the room number in case he couldn't find Lin Que. "Thanks! I'll talk to you later!" he said and ran down the hall to catch up to Lin Que.

At the corner of the hall, Lucas smirked as he had located his targets, who were standing by the vending machine. He hid and peeked from the corner. Lin Que stopped Lily on their way to her room and said, "Choose some snacks. I don't want you to starve."

She purposely held a deep breath to puff out her cheeks. "If you keep giving me snacks, I'll go broke and gain weight. My cheeks will become this chubby one day if I eat these every day."

"Really? Let me see." Purposely sticking out his two index fingers, he popped either side of her cheeks and teased. "What are you talking about? You're in great shape. No matter how much weight you gain, you'll be cute."

"Doctor Lin, was the Starbucks drink too sweet earlier? It seems like you've been throwing sugar coated words at me." She grinned and tried to brush off about the snacks.

"Call me Lin Que. Doctor Lin sounds so distant." He said as he stuffed coins into the machine.

"Doctor Lin Que, aren't you off shift already?" She refused to give in that easily to call him by his name.

"Heh, you're quite stubborn. Fine, you can call me by that as well. Soon, you'll change your mind." He pressed different buttons and waited for the machine to drop the snacks.

"Nope. I won't," she argued.

"Yep, you will." He replied instantly.

Lily: "Nope."

Lin Que: "Yep."

Lily: "Nope."

Lin Que: "Nope."

"Yep!" she said and realized she's been tricked.

"I..I'm going back to my room!" She turned around, but found herself cornered between his muscular arms against the wall.

He leaned close and stopped when he knew she could feel his breathing. Whispering into her ears, he said, "Call me by my name."

"Doc-"

Softly blowing into her ear, she heard his whisper again, "It's Lin Que."

His stimulating voice echoed into her ears, making her shiver. Her fluttery eyelashes and flushed cheeks expressed her shyness. He only planned on playing a little with her, but now, he really wanted to tease her further.

"Come on. You could say it. If you don't..." His index finger found its way to her soft, glossed lips as he adjusted his head's position and leaned close enough for the tip of their noses to touch.

Feeling her knees weakened, she stuttered as she said his name, "L..Lin Que."

"Too soft. I couldn't hear you." He chuckled. It was obvious he heard her the first time!

"Lin Que." She closed her eyes and repeated in a slightly louder tone.

"Good girl. Take the snacks as a reward." He released her and collected the snacks.

'Was I shameless enough?' He thought to himself as he gave Lily the snacks.

"T..thanks." She didn't seem to have processed what he had done just now. This was the first time a guy had initiated such intimate actions against her. Normally, her arms and legs were quite feisty. She also knew how to defend herself when put in such position, but oddly, her body weakened in front of him.

Before she walked back to her room, he had blocked her again. This time, he had one palm flat against the wall. Facing towards him, she lowered her head slightly to avoid showing her flushed expression. "Lin Que, what is it now?"

He smiled, "Don't worry, I won't eat you. I just want to clarify about what I said in the car. What I said is true, so please consider it. I wasn't just teasing you."

"Which part?" Her lips twitched as she recalled many pickup lines he said in the car.

"Since you are confused, then I'll repeat what I said. I like you. Rather than being a friend with similar interests or a worm in your stomach, I would like to be your boyfriend instead. Please consider my words. Even if you tell me you just got out of a relationship and want some time alone, I'll understand. But that won't stop me from pursuing you. So be prepared." He spoke sincerely to her.

Slowly, she raised her head to meet his smiling eyes. She was about to answer him, but was interrupted by a certain somebody's rock and roll ringtone from down the hall.

Lily was too embarrassed to continue what she wanted to say, so she ran back to her room and pretended it was nothing.

'Lucas!!!' Lin Que recognized the familiar ringtone and figure who was waving down the hall. It was a one of a kind ringtone since it was a special edition exclusively dedicated to Lucas' name. When Lucas picked up the call, he immediately said, "Mom!! Bro is hiding a woman from us!!!"
