11:45. Almost lunch time. Where is he?

" Meet me at the café"

Right on. I walked to the café, where Jeric,My boss, treated me for a meal and ruining my day. Lovely.

" Hey Thane, I miss you" Jerk.

Smiling at him, I wish I could say the same thing.

Tobias Fleur, Personal Assistant of Jeric Thalaine and a dear friend.

" I heard about Joshua, I'm sorry you two broke up."

What is wrong with this café. My God.

I recuperated, everybody thinks we fucking broke up. Even though we were never a thing.

" Come on, let's get inside so we can eat."

My day with Tobias, was not how I expected it to be. I thought I was the one who should be talking, and he would be listening. But it turned out the other way. He blabbed about him getting a raise, Jeric being an asshole, and the busy life of working in a publishing house. The day ended when He got a call from his boyfriend, and I praised the High Heavens for that happening.

Exhaustedly I went back to the apartment, The food I left for Tabby was all gone. And scanning the room, I felt odd. A Gold-Lined envelope was on my desk.
