Gerald's phone rang and frowned seeing the name of the caller.

"Liana, what do I owe the honor of you calling," he said.

"Meet me in one hour, I need to talk to you," she said then hang up.

He sighed, "I told that asshole to be careful but I guess his detective girlfriend found out " he muttered getting up.

Xavier had left for a trip that morning so She used it as a chance to meet Gerald.

Liana sent him the location to find her.

"Your late," she said when he finally arrived.

"Xavier is gone so I have to do everything in the company," Gerald said.

"I won't beat around the bush so I will get to the point, what's wrong with Xavier?" she asked.

"What is wrong with him?" Gerald asked.

Liana sighed, " Are you acting or you just don't know "

"If you don't tell me then how will I know, he spends most of his time with you, " Gerald said.

"Gerald you know Xavier won't tell me anything that would worry me. But I know he shares everything with you so tell me now " Liana said.

"Liana if you don't tell me what's made you worry about him then I can't help you," he said.

Liana frowned, "Alright, Xavier keeps waking up in the middle of the night crying in pain but then after I will it's like the pain wasn't even there. His headaches come and go simultaneously and when I ask what's wrong he says nothing "

"Then it must be nothing," Gerald said, thinking about when Xavier told him to act like a fool.

"Gerald you work with him, his headaches must have been noticed by you. So please tell me what exactly is going on " her voice seemed to beg.

"It's about what his father did that day," Gerald said.

Liana felt her heart sink, "So he did something to him that day "

"Yes he did, his memories that had been sealed from his past lives are being erased one by one. And when it's happening, he experiences them but then they disappear. The more the headaches happen the more his memories disappear including the ones he has of you now "

A sound of something break was heard at the table. Gerald flinched as shards of glass flew across the table, Liana had accidentally broken the glass in her hand.

They both looked down at the bleeding hand still holding onto the broken glass.

"Liana are you okay?" he grabbing her hand.

She looked up with tears in her eyes, "So you mean he will finally leave me "

"Calm down and gently open your fist," he said cause Liana's hand was still tightly closed.

The waiter brought a towel at Gerald's request as he slowly pulled out the remaining pieces in her hand. The cuts were bleeding but Liana seemed not to mind.

He wrapped the small towel around her hand and got up grabbing her things and dragging her out.
