He hugged her, "Oh God, you look different," he said.

"And you changed too " she pulled him in for another hug.

Joy who had returned from the bathroom bumped into Gerald and Xavier.

"Oh, you guys are here. Let's go in then, Liana has been waiting for you two so we could order " she said.

But the two didn't move, "who is that ?" Gerald asked. Joy turned to where they were looking. She could see Liana laughing with a strange man at their table. She turned back to see Xavier glaring at them.

"I can't see who it is, but let's go and find out then," she said.

Gerald hesitated but followed his girlfriend, Xavier didn't move a muscle and kept staring.

"Liana " Joy called. she looked up with a smile and the stranger looked back.

"Randy you remember, Joy my best friend. This is her boyfriend Gerald " she introduced them.

"You mean that little shy girl turned into a beautiful woman " Randy hugged Joy who looked confused.

"His Randy, the boy who used to follow us around during school " Liana introduced.

Joy looked up surprised, "You mean Randy, Randy with glasses " she laughed while he nodded. They hugged each other until Gerald pulled them apart.

"Not to break the reunion but your hug is getting too tight," he said. Joy pulled back giggling, "Sorry love, his just an old friend from high school ".

Randy introduced himself to Gerald and then turned back to Liana.

"You both changed for the best, looking so stunning " he smiled at her his hand sliding to her waist.

Gerald coughed, "Liana, did you forget something," he said.

"Where is Xavier, I thought you came together ?" she asked.

Gerald pointed to where he was still standing. Even from afar, she could see his golden eyes filled with anger.

She pulled away from Randy and ran to where he was, noticing her run to him his face and anger melted filling his face with softness.

"Love, why are you standing here, I was waiting for you come on," she said grabbing his arm.

"I thought you were busy with a guest," he said.

She loomed up at him, "His just an old friend who noticed me when he passed by, let me introduce you to him " she said.

"Just a friend?" he repeated.

Liana giggled and stopped moving to pull him closer, "He's an old ex-boyfriend and friend but he won't be a problem since he wasn't among those my parents arranged," she said.

"But the way he was smiling at you makes me jealous," he said.

He could see her smile, "Don't worry my eyes only see you and no one else, so there is no need to feel jealous " she whispered.

A smile crept on his face, "I love you " he whispered.

"And I love you" she answered, "now let's go and chase him away so we can eat am starving," she said.

He gave a small nod and lead them to their table where the others were waiting.

Randy gave Xavier a wide smile, "So I guess his the boyfriend ?"

Liana nodded, "Yes, Xavier, Randy an old friend and Randy this is Xavier, my boyfriend "

Xavier took Randy's hand shaking it.

"Okay, Liana it seems your friends are all here, I will get going too let's meet up soon and we talk, " Randy said then left.

Gerald helped Joy take her to sit as Xavier did the same for Liana.

"Why don't I like that guy "Gerald let out after they ordered their food.

Joy laughed, "Maybe because his sense of humour is better than yours"

"No, that's not it I just don't like him. Even the way he looked at Liana was creepy "

"That's because they both used to date he still cares about her " let out Joy.

Gerald sighed, "Are you on his side or mine ?"

"Yours, of course, I was simply letting you know why he likes that " Joy held Gerald's hand.

"Guys don't ponder on someone who is already gone, let's just enjoy our dinner "Liana stopped them.

Randy walked out of the restaurant and entered a car.

"Boss, I think we can go ahead with the plan now," he said.

"Okay, make sure to play your part perfectly so she can't suspect you "

"Understood, I will be leaving now," he said leaving the car.
