Chapter 003

"Welcome to or humble home!" Veronica said. I just smiled. Well, despite her mean appearance, she's just one bubbly sweet girl who likes to be loved, and I find that cute.

"Show off" Valthazar said and immediately called for their maids, I guess? I linked my arms at Veronica's, she look at me for a bit. Probably wondering why am I like this. I pouted and look away, making her smile. Now what is this pretty woman thinking...

Maids appeared, they look hysterical and they're all catching their breaths. The twins looked so confused. Their maids look so stressed out as well. While I have to escape. I feel like it isn't safe here, they're all nobles! I didn't know what they might do.

I tiptoed and is about to exit when I bumped into someone. I stilled and cover myself with the cloak. They're nobles, I better be safe than never.

"Valthazar, Nica" The person said coldly. He hold my hand grip onto it tightly. I winced and bit my lip to prevent a sound. "You brought a person again, it's dangerous I told you right? Especially for you Valth"

I blink and tried to free myself from him. But to my dismay, I wasn't able to. I sighed and look up only to see a tall muscular man standing in front of me. I gulped and look away.

"But she's also a celestia brother" Veronica said.

"Anyone can fake their identities Veronica. Did you see if her mark was a hoax or not? I guess no, you are a daughter of a Duke no? Then act like one!" Her brother's voice was harsh when he said that. Veronica was taken aback, I can see tears forming in her eyes but she didn't cry.

"I was the one who suggested for us to go out brother" Valthazar said and brought Nica to his arms, hugging her. Veronica's too long, I'm the only one who knows who called her by that anyway.

"No Valthy, I'm older than you so I'll take the blame" I pursed my lips, I thought I am gonna have a peaceful and safe place here, since that's what they said. Never knew I'm gonna encounter dramas here.

"Stop taking the blame Valthazar, let you sister learn a lesson."

"But she's your sister too!" Valth screamed at his brother, he balled his hands into fist. Damn, I can feel something that is about to burst out from him.

"I don't acknowledge weaklings as my sibling"

"Scr-" Valth was about to burst when I went to his side and stopped him.

He look at me and realized what he was about to do. I sighed an closed my eyes. I breathed and calm myself down. I can see it, the tiny flame and light in me. I breathed again and let it flow onto me. Transferring some of the calming heat to Valth. I feel his breathing going back to normal.

He was staying still, as if he felt something unexpected. Oh well, I was like that too. I breathed and stopped the flow of my flames. He, then look at me. Veronica and their brother were quiet, but staring at me. As if I did something, uhh unbelievable?

"You... are you really a celestia?" Their brother said. I have no choice, I already made a move.

"Yes, a mark of the Zodiac Leo if I'm not mistaken?" I said, I took my cloak and hold onto it.

"Leo? The leader of the Zodiacs?" He asked, his jaw drop and he started to walk backwards. Away from me. My brows knotted, wondering why is he acting like that. is it that bad? Well I don't know.

"Uhh yes? And may I ask why, uhm are you terrified or something?" I clicked my tongue and stared at the man n front of me. Speaking of him, I don't know his name yet.

"Well, Leo and Aries are known to be good well uh, they're pretty good and wild at wars. It could be brutal. Well, I haven't seen it but our dear brother does and they beat him up sometime ago." My mouth dropped at what Nica said. Leo? Is he a wild animal or something?

"He's here, I mean he works for the palace, fortunately, the king hasn't find out about his true identity." Valthazar.

"Then how did you guys?" I asked, confused. I mean, it is really confusing. And this is my first time interacting with someone who isn't my family. I miss them....

"Aries, the talkative one said it to us, they also felt Aquarius' mark on Valthy" Nica answered, gently placing her hand on my shoulder. "I wonder what you two would be like if you're together"

I was just staring at them. Still trying to digest the things that I just heard. He's here! But how come he hasn't made way to me? Doesn't he know? He could've hel.... no, this entire existence of mine caused their death. I....

I hate it.

"Why the gloomy face, commoner?" I look up and saw their brother staring me, his hands were at his chest. He has this soft features unlike Vathazar who has this hard and wild features. Valth's presence screams authority, like his brother. Soft but hard.

"I'm not commoner, I'm Hameira Aq-"

"I don't care. You two should go and explain yourselves to father. I'll handle her." Their brother said.

"The way you say it makes it sound scary" I said as a matter of fact, he looks like he would do something bad in me.

"Tss, just prepare yourself. Leo- sir Leo will probably be here any moment now. It's time that they return from that war." He said.

The twins went to their father, while I keep following uh.... anyway, we suddenly entered a room. Maids started to gather around me and assisted me.

"You stay here, I still have to attend to some knights so... anyway, uh Wilton" he said, he was holding onto the door as he was saying that.

"Wilton?"

"That's my name. The twins will fetch you here later. I will now leave." was the last thing he said and left.

I exhaled and look at the curious maids in front of me, as if they're waiting for me o signal them on assisting me. Dang, I miss that word and this is nobility alright!
