Adaptable Energy

After everyone left, there was a sort of sorrowful silence. Lei Jin sighed as he turned around and floated up to address everyone. Looking around he saw a great many men and women. Ancient Divine Spirits and Humans. But now they were all undoubtedly linked to the survival of the race.

Some of these people looked forlorn, depressed and anxious. Others were excited by the thought of the coming challenge. Not worried in the slightest about the current lack of bonding. They knew they would get all the time in the world after this. The remaining ones were torn. Though they knew the last battle was successful, it still came at a cost.

What was that cost? Flesh & blood, sweat & tears. The loss of some of these peoples' masters, their brothers and sisters. But now as Lei Jin looks at the faces of those who had lost recently. A smile appeared on his face. "These people are good. Determined to seek out justice for their friends and family. Good… very good. Their drive will spread to the others after a few hundred years. And we have plenty of time…" Lei Jin thought, with an approving gaze.

"Jin'er the army is awaiting your orders." Azure Heart said, cupping her hands. Not because she needed to show respect to her son in law. But right now it is different. Lei Jin was the beacon of hope, of life and of justice. Moreover, the situation was now detailed to be the true test of the cultivators' wits.

"Everyone! You are weak, ants. Only to step upon and crushed under foot. This is what the enemy thinks of you. They wish to forcibly deflower and humiliate our women and eat our men. They want to pillage and destroy our world… our home… our… families. We can not allow this to continue for any moment longer. So starting from today onward…" Lei Jin said, raising a hand into the sky.

A shimmering light formed in his hand. Then a beam of light stretching out to reach the edge of the restriction he had made. He had done something similar beforehand. However this time… this time… Lei Jin was serious. No longer needing to hold back. And a radiant wave of shimmering light rushed out from the impact. Causing everyone to gaze in sheer awe, at not only the might, but sheer skill that was put on display just now.

"We have ten thousand years in here before I will open the restriction again and let our army run through the Black Ink Battlefield. Train diligently! And be prepared for random surges in strength. I will be forming a link to each of your Small Universes to help guide you more readily." Lei Jin said… "Oh and while it isn't important to know now. If you see any of these Territory Lords on the battlefield at any point. Do not kill them." He added with a sinister smile.

"Supreme Master, forgive my rudeness. But I must ask, why must we spare those Territory Lords?" A 7th rank asked, cupping their hands.

"Ahahaha! You ask me why. I'll tell you… Because it was these five bastards who stole my family from me. I have a particular punishment for them in mind. And I would hate to not be able to see it through. Even my master doesn't dare take those ones lives. He knows I want to watch the vile things die by my hand. I'll share with you the memory of that day so you know just how much I care about this particular issue." Lei Jin smiled, laughing.

At that time it became massively apparent to everyone in the army exactly why Lei Jin was so adamant about that one thing. Usually one would solve this kind of grudge as soon as one obtained the needed might to pull it off. However, Lei Jin did not get that opportunity. He was stuck in the 3000 Worlds and now has to wait ten thousand years to make sure that everyone else gets strong enough. The burden on him was clearly, unmistakably heavy. And now the others knew exactly why.

The several people he had consoled after the great battle, all had a new found respect for Lei Jin. Everyone did for that matter. To have such a strong desire to seek justice while being forced to hold it back so others may find their justice as well… Is not something just anyone could do. The frame of mind must be absolutely perfect. No deviations, and carry forward with absolute determination.

"The Army has heard the order! Now disperse and begin cultivating with purpose. There is no shortage of resources. Let us be not just the tip of the spear! But be the whole Spear!" A random 9th rank shouted out. They were feeling a new level of intense passion for cultivation themselves. It was only natural to be a bit unruly.

"Good! Begin! And will now experience the Cultivation Paradise that I had admittedly been keeping to myself. But it was necessary. Without proper control it could have been detrimental. That has changed. Feel free to enjoy the new rich environment." Lei Jin said, and then fell into a deep concentrated state where he focused.

The entire Restriction filled with the absolute best possible condition. Creating a suitable environment in such a manner that made it possible for the Ancient Divine Spirits to cultivate as well. The energy here was not World Force nor Source Strength. Rather it was an amalgamation of the too and neither. That's too vague, it's more like the energy adapts to the individual.

The adaptation is legit at a point where if it was any cultivator they would feel like the energy matched nearly perfectly with their own. Allowing them to refine supplemental resources. If it was an Ancient Divine Spirit they would have a similar effect. However, their draw upon this seemingly endless supply of power. Everyone shared the same thoughts about the situation though…

"Is this really okay? Doesn't the Supreme Master need this energy for himself? Or is it that he no longer needs to worry about such an amount?" Only a few brave or idiotic one's said. A bead of sweat instantly started dripping once they realized what their words could have meant…
