Convincing Carina

After their chat, Tenshi got to work immediately.

He introduced Tesoro to the Lord Group and talked to Carina about her plans for the Gran Tesoro. Turns out Carina only wanted to steal it but now she had a lot more work to do…

Tenshi sat her down and explained roughly what he was thinking.

Firstly, the Gran Tesoro would continue to run as per usual, but instead of a semi luxurious Casino ship. He wanted more of an extreme tourist attraction. Carina understood and nodded, Tenshi told her bluntly, "Carina, if you want to run away with the Gran Tesoro or steal it from right under my nose, I'm telling you right now… It's literally impossible."

Carina's lips twitched, Tenshi sighed gently and smiled at her, explaining softly, "When I build the Subordinate Cafe, I can travel through the cafe from anywhere. I can appear on the Gran Tesoro even if I'm in the East Blue in an instant. Even if you run to the ends of the world, I will appear by you in an instant. Even if you destroy the cafe, it doesn't matter."

He leaned over and covered his hand in a Susanoo gauntlet, patting her soft shoulder, smiling kindly, "Stay with me and you'll be able to steal whatever you want in the future. Stick with my Cafe and you will be one of the most wealthy people in several universes. There are universes where currency is jewels, gold is everywhere, one suit armor is worth billions, there even a place as big as the sea full of treasures."

Carina was shaking with an intensely greedy light in her eyes, "Really!?" Tenshi nodded and licked his lips, leaning over and whispering, "I even know of a place where you can summon a Dragon and wish for anything. Anything in the world. Revive people, Endless Wealth, Eternal Youth, Anything you desire!"

Carina's breathing quickened and she grabbed Tenshi's face, saying quickly "You-You! Where are these places?! Tell me! TELL ME!" Tenshi had the Susanoo helmet on, replying "Other Universes! Not only money but power! Technology, Thief Skills, Gems, Gold, you can even steal a planet!"

Carina's eyes turned into bright green lights, Tenshi grabbed her hands with gauntlets, pulling them off his face as he took the helmet off, saying the killer, "I will make you the Strongest Thief in the Multiverse if you'll let me."

Carina shivered and almost melted in her seat, squealing "BOSS~!" Tenshi laughed happily and flicked her cute nose, winking "Perfect~! Welcome to Hibari's, my Excellent Thief." Carina grinned greedily and licked her lips, "Where are we stealing from first?"

Tenshi wiped his lips and looked around before whispering in her ear.

Carina froze and her eyes widened, she jumped out of her chair and laughed excitedly, "Are you serious?! Ushishishishishi~!" Tenshi grinned and called her back to her seat, "Shh! Every night you'll come back to the ship to train, but the Gran Tesoro comes first! Then after we can talk about everything else, understood?"

Carina nodded and touched her lips, extremely excited. Who would've thought she would have this day! Instead of being forced to be loyal, she was encouraged to steal! She really liked Tenshi. Especially his crazy plans.

She was similar to Nami, however Carina was literally insane. She wasn't scared of anything, she will steal from anyone at any time. It didn't matter who it was, and on top of that she was also very kind to her friends. She saved Nami's life a long time ago!

Tenshi knew she was a good person, but she was addicted to stealing. A little kleptomaniac. It was fine, he liked Carina a lot. And it wasn't because of her huge Bazonkas. Though, they helped!

Anyway, after settling the plans for the Gran Tesoro and lighting a fire under Carina for other worlds, he sent her to Aino, who brought Tesoro back to him.

Tesoro said "I have a guy you might be interested in." Tenshi tilted his head and Tesoro continued, "His name is Bill. He owns Silver Mine Island, I collect tributes from him. This kid is too greedy for my taste." Tenshi touched his chin and thought about it.

This was the filler arc… if he remembered correctly, Bill was an extremely greedy guy as Tesoro said. Basically Tesoro beat the hell out of him and forced him to send silver from the mine as his subordinate, since then Bill basically worshiped Tesoro and wanted to live like him.

This guy had the Smelt fruit, so he could eat Ores and make weapons inside his stomach… But he never used this fruit to the fullest, he made weapons and threw them out like a monkey. To be perfectly honest, this Bill doesn't have a tragic backstory, he's just a bad guy.

Tenshi liked Tesoro because the guy had a traumatic past but surpassed it to achieve what he did, making the most powerful casino in the world. To be perfectly honest, he didn't really see Tesoro as a villain. He didn't really want to kill everyone like Z and he wasn't enslaving anyone like Doflamingo.

His only goal was to subjugate the Celestial Dragons like they did to him before. This isn't really villainous, but who told him to run into Luffy and not know he was Joyboy?

Now that the tragedy was averted, Tenshi gave Tesoro a new avenue. How skilled of a businessman did you have to be to do what Tesoro did? Leaving him in Naruto was like releasing a Tiger into a flock of sheep for lack of a better terminology.

But this Bill guy, the only thing he was good at was nothing. However the resources at his disposal could be good to have, not to mention… he had Bartolomeo's love interest under his command.

She was also a tough cookie, he wanted to recruit her to help Aino… But he wasn't hopeful, Desire was as stubborn as a bull. Everyone wanted to be King of the Pirates, but none of them had the strength! Isn't it good to do other things?

He sighed to himself and replied "Forget about Bill, that guy… The only thing good about him is his fruit. His personality is a problem. He's too greedy and just an evil villain type. You can be greedy if you have the strength or are a good person, forget about him. If he brings Silver or doesn't, who cares. Don't need him."

Tesoro's lips twitched and he pointed at himself, "What about me?" Tenshi looked at him in confusion, "WHAT about you?" Tesoro asked "Am I not the same?" Tenshi was speechless and retorted "No? What do you want me to say? You're making small talk right now? Seriously? Since when is owning a Casino to drag down Celestial Dragons under you considered evil?"

Tesoro jumped and replied sincerely, "The way you know everything, really makes my skin crawl. I want you to know that." Tenshi curled his lips, "It's great isn't it? How's the trading with the lords?"

Tesoro rolled his eyes, "These guys all help each other… We're not the same type of people, but I shared the technology." Tenshi nodded and muttered "Maybe you should visit Tsunade… But…" he sighed, "She has a bit of a problem."

Tesoro's lips twitched, "A little…?" as he remembered Tsunade's expression when she looked at him. She looked to be in love but want to swallow him whole at the same time. It was very strange… But Tesoro knew one thing, no matter how much money he gave this woman, she would lose it all in seconds, he could tell by just looking at her.

This was a super gambling addict!

However, she knew how to make money which was a relief. The only problem was… her world was way too backwards. Everything was hodgepodge… It was like a feudal era but with electricity and technology…

Tesoro saw one house in Konoha and was immediately disgusted. If he was the so-called Hokage, he expected to control the entire world in less than 5 years. So much untapped potential… he was excited.
