An Answer to Decide.

In the 24/7 Convenient store, Robert was seen sitting infront of the Cashier's booth, Holding his phone and was watching some random videos.

Robert noticed the time that it was already past seven and wondered, Why hasn't Mrs. Jenna arrive yet? She usually arrives early to do some manual checking on the Store supplies.

Robert shrugged his shoulders, Well I guess something came up and made her busy. I better do some cleaning before she arrives.

The bell of the entrance door suddenly rang when Robert got up from his chair. *Kringgg!*

Robert immediately turned around and bowed as he greeted politely, "Welcome." He said and noticed That a young girl was standing beside James.

"Huh? Boss? When did you arrive?" He asked in a surprised demeanor.

"Just earlier." James responded.

"Papa! I want candy bars!" Jasmine excitingly said.

James nodded, "Okay help yourself."

Robert stared while Jasmine ran unto the displayers to grab herself some Candy bars.

"This is the first time I'm seeing your daughter boss." Robert said.

"Well yeah, She doesn't often come with me here anyway." James responded with a forced smile.

Robert immediately saw and noticed that James was acting abit different, His expressions was forced unlike before which was totally calm.

Right now, The james he was seeing was someone who was worried about something.

"Boss is something---" *Ring!*

"Oh let me take this one, Please look after Jasmine for me." James said and hurriedly went out of the store.

Robert then glanced at the young girl who was happily eating some candy bars infront of the displayers.

*Beep*

"James?"

"Edwardo." James responded in a cold tone.

"I'm sorry james, I didn't expect they'd be popping out of nowhere. I should have sent more men to look out for your family." Edwardo said in an anxious tone.

"Where is my wife's body being held edwardo?"

"She's currently at one of the Morgues I own, At the Delano."

"Okay, I want you to send some men and guard my daughter at my convenient store."

"I've already sent some, And they're within some distance."

"Okay, I'll immediately go to Delano."

"Okay james, And Once again. I'm truly sorry." As Edwardo said sincerely.

James gave off a serious expression, "I'm hanging up." *Beep*

After their conversation ended, Edwardo sat at his comfy chair and stared at window.

James then returned inside of the convenient store, "Hey Robert, Can you babysit Jasmine for a while? I'll be going somewhere real quick." He said.

Robert stared at james, "Uh, Okay." He replied.

James smiled and went to jasmine, "Hey Sweetie. Papa will go somewhere and wait for me here okay? Don't cause any trouble to Robert okay?"

Jasmine looked at James' eyes and asked, "Are you going to see mama?"

James gulped as he hugged jasmine, "No, I'm going somewhere else." He said.

Jasmine smiled and chomped the Candy bar at her hand, While James took another glance at Robert and nodded.

Robert nodded back and James left the Convenient store.

A car which was openly guarded by two of Edwardo's men proposed to James to use the car.

James then went to the driver's seat and drove off in an unusual fast pace.

"Mr. Ashburn had just left, Everyone! Guard the entire perimeter of the Convenient store." As a man dressed in civilian attire tapped his telecom earpiece.

James immediately went straight to Delano, A morgue which Edwardo owns.

His heartbeat felt racy as he drove the car, His entire body became hotter every second he got closer towards his destination, His mind were filled with doubts, Mixtures of emotions came flooding through in him.

And as he drove off he got reminded of the past, To which Jenna told him something.

It was several years ago, In an oceanside within Los Angeles, It was already nearing sunset, While the nightly breeze slowly enveloped the warm atmosphere.

Jenna and James were sitting on the sand as both of them watched the sun set, James was wearing a plain white shirt while Jenna wore a kinda light and loose white beautiful dress.

James held Jenna's hand as they stared at the sunset together.

"Honey." Jenna spoke while staring directly at the sunset.

James glanced at Jenna who was staring at the sunset beautifully, "Yes dear?" He said.

Jenna blinked and glanced at James, "Are you really not going to go back to that cruel world?" She asked.

Jenna knew about James being a mercenary when he told her about everything.

James held Jenna's shoulder, "Yes. But I might have to in the future. You see..."

James explained about the Token of Honor which he was indebt to, The entire Tragedy he escaped and how he ended up at sweden and coincidentally met her, He then told Jenna everything.

Jenna's eyes shined while James told her everything, "When you talk nonstop, You look like a robot dear. Haha!" She said and giggled.

James got flustered and smiled, "Hehe."

"Well, If something ever happens, Even to me, Someday. I want you to leave it all be and focus on raising our daughter. Okay?"

Jenna was currently 7 months pregnant at that time.

James gritted his lip and mustered the courage to nod, As he slowly kissed Jenna on the forehead.

"If ever were something to happen, Even to me, Please leave it all be and focus on raising our daughter." These words got James reminded, As he drove the car with lingering uncomfortable feelings.

His tears slowly fell from his eyes, "You're surely selfish Jenna, You know that..." And drove off as quickly as possible.

After several minutes, He finally arrived at the morgue.

His body trembled as he entered the entrance door, Some subordinates of Edwardo were seen roaming around the building.

"Mr. Ashburn?" A guy called, While James turned to check, "Please follow me sir." The guy said in a polite manner.

James immediately followed the guy and led him towards a private room that was located at the rear end of the building.

As he walked through the hallway of the building, His body shivered, And when they reached the corridors, James' chest started aching continuously.

His mind went blank as they got further close towards their designated room, To which his tears instantly fell upon seeing a body covered in white blanket infront of him.

"I'll leave you be sir." The man said and left the room.

James slowly walked towards the body that was covered in white blanket, His eyes started wavering as he gritted his teeth and reached his hand unto the White blanket.

Slowly removing the blanket, Seeing Jenna's cold pale skin while she had plaster bandages wrapped around her forehead.

James bursted into tears as he fell on his knees, "You want me to let this pass? And focus on Jasmine? How could you be so selfish Jenna." He said while his voice continuously trembled.

James could only sought to take revenge, But held Jenna's wishes sincerely.

His mind was in chaos, As if two factions were in the middle of a war. His entire entity was like a ticking time bomb, That would end up exploding anytime.

"Why did Jenna have to be the one! Why!" He yelled, As his voice continued trembling, His heart ached every second he thought about Jenna being entirely gone now.

But amidst the confused emotions he was currently feeling, He got reminded that he still had Jasmine.

Their daughter which Jenna wanted to safeguard no matter what, That is when James finally concluded his decision and erased his willingness to seek revenge.

James quietly stood up while his knees continued shaking, He gently touched jenna's cold cheeks as he gritted his lips and cried silently.

"Fine, I'll make sure to raise our child properly. No matter what happens." He uttered silently.

James then slowly covered Jenna again with the white blanket and left the room, He then called Edwardo to hold up a funeral in the next two days, And returned to the convenient store to pick up Jasmine.

They then went back home, And James slowly explained everything to Jasmine while she instantly teared up and cried for several hours.

James continued comforting his daughter while thinking of moving somewhere, In hopes that they could live peacefully again and avoid the possible dangers that could arise anytime.

James sold the Convenient store to Edwardo who immediately agreed to buy it, While Explaining the tragedy that had occured to his part timer Daniel and his employee Robert.

Robert and Daniel felt sad after hearing everything that happened, James told Edwardo to change the incident into a robbery and ended up being in the L.A news.

Sooner after that, The funeral got held within 5 days and Jenna finally rested in L.A cemetery.

Then after a week had passed, James and Jasmine left Los Angeles and traveled once again to a foreign country which even Edwardo didn't knew.

Every traces of James and Jasmine had now all disappear.

And so, Their normal lives continued while Danya and Derrick still had some messy troubles from time to time, But now that the Token of Honor had finally returned to James, He could now once again live peacefully and raise his only daughter which resembled his deceased wife, Jenna.

Then time flew by quickly, And 9 years had already passed.
