How I met her.

8 years ago, After an unexpected incident occured to me and hardly survived the tragedy, I ended up hiding at a certain town in the vicinity of sweden.

There I strived surviving with severe injuries around my body, Enduring unbearable pain explicitly in a foreign land.

With the only thing I had in mind, Was to survive and return back to our Association.

A month had passed since I've gone into hiding with no confidential information and ways to contact my comrades back at the Association.

In the town I had stayed, I met a doctor who stitched up my wounds and took care of me for the time being.

In the days I've spent alongside the Doctor, I ended up befriending his Assistant nurse, Then as time passed I got closer to her and ended up feeling unexplainable emotions that I've never once felt before.

Her name was Jenna, Jenna Smith. She was four years younger than me, She was unbelievably talented for being an assistant nurse in such a young age in this modern era.

When I went strolling in the town, She would always accompany me.

She had dazzling long blonde hair that shined when sunlight hit, And beautiful pale skin and good figure with excellent facial features, In other words She was extremely beautiful.

Many eyes would gaze upon her as we walked around the town, Many guys would attempt and ask for her contact information but she would always politely reject them.

Her bright smile and heartwarming personality caused me to feel inexplicit emotions to which I had never felt, My heart started beating in a fast pace when I see her, My cold actions slowly turned into a more distinguished bearing behavior.

Little by little, I noticed that the once emotionless expression I wore had drastically changed into something I would never imagine.

It was the first time, That I've felt happiness due to a woman. An experience I couldn't imagine to get a feeling about it when I was still roaming around the world as a mercenary.

Then time flew by, And three months had already passed, My wounds had completely healed after a month and a half, But I continued staying there due to a certain someone.

It was that time I knew and finally realized that I was in love.

We ended up being in a relationship, And did more intimate things that couples would do.

And after spending my days happily, I had totally forgot about my current situation.

To why I was at Sweden in the first place, And to what I was planning on doing after.

But due to my dangerous occupation, I didn't get to properly explain things to Jenna and ended up leaving her in a rush and returned to my Association.

There, Sir Alheim and the other mercenaries stood in awe after seeing me return after a predicament situation occured to me.

"Goodness Ashburn! Where have you been all this time!?" Alheim questioned in a shocked expression.

"We thought you were already dead! Huhu!" As a mercenary named John cried out loud.

Many of my comrades were glad that I returned safely and some of them bursted into tears after seeing the stitch marks around my entire body.

"Ashburn, We thought that you were already a goner and marked you as a K.I.A merc in the list." Alheim said.

"Does that mean, That Olympus now knows that I'm dead?" James asked.

"In papers, Yes. After that Incident occured to you several months ago and we lost contact with you, We ended up mustering the courage to remove you on the Applicable list and marked you as K.I.A." Alheim said in an anxious manner.

"That's fine, No need to be sad about it Sir alheim. You remember when you asked me if I wanted to quit being a mercenary?" James said in a gentle tone.

Alheim's pale expression instantly changed, "Huh? Oh about the thing I said to you last year?" He asked.

James nodded, "Yes sir."

"Yeah I remember, Why ask?"

"Cause I think now I finally found something new and want to stop being a mercenary entirely."

Alheim was shocked, Seeing James slightly smile after speaking such unexpected words coming out from his mouth.

"What? Really?" Alheim asked in a surprised tone.

James nodded, "Yes sir. I found a woman I want to cherish, And live along side her in equal terms without anything to worry about. That's why I'd like to retire on being a mercenary."

Alheim smiled and tapped James' shoulders, "I guess you finally found something, Keke."

"Yes sir." James spoke in a gentle tone.

And then after that conversation, Alheim held a group meeting and announced my retirement, Many were shocked while others were happy about me.

Being the youngest made them worry that I'd never get to experience and enjoy my youth and end up getting killed before reaching twenty five.

While some were sad knowing that the entitled Ghost would disappear now forever and remain in their memories.

And at that Night, They ended up having a farewell party for me and drank through the entire night.

Two weeks had now passed, Jenna was working in the hospital.

"Jenna? Why do you look out of it? Did something happen?" (In swedish language)

"Well it's nothing serious doctor." She replied with a forced smile. (In swedish language)

"What's that book your holding?" The doctor asked. (In swedish language)

Jenna glanced at the book she was holding, "Oh you mean this? This is a vocabulary english book." She replied. (In swedish language)

"Eh, Your learning english?" The doctor asked in an appealing tone.

"English? Yes. I am learning english, Doctor." Jenna responded.

The doctor giggled, "Okay from now on. We'll be talking in english, No more swedish language so that you can become more accurate in pronouncing your words correctly."

"Yes doctor, I have no problems with it."

Then both of them continued their Job and conversed in english from time to time, Without knowing, Time flew by and a month had already passed.

It was a bright sunny sunday morning, Jenna took a morning stroll around the seaside which she and james usually visited back in the days.

While Jenna was walking, She reminisced the happy moments when james was still around, And as soon as she took a glance at the ocean she saw a man standing, Staring at the ocean idly.

In that brief moment, Jenna's heartbeat instantly bursted as her body became hot, Feeling such excitement after recognizing the man's broad back, She immediately ran towards him.

"James!" She yelled.

James slowly turned around and smiled, "Jenna I'm back."

Jenna smiled while tears slowly fell down and she hugged james tightly.

After that, The two decided to get betrothed and ended up moving in California after another year passed.

"Sir, Can you hear me!?"

"His eyes are wide open, But his consciousness is gone!"

"Hey pull him up properly!"

James idly stayed in a paralyzed-like state while immersing himself in the pleasant memories she had with his wife, As Despair consumed his mind and led into turmoil, While still having doubts on whether what the policemen were saying was true.

But after james idly lied silently, He snapped back immediately and remembered that he still has a child to find.

"My daughter!? Where is she!?" James asked in a loud tone as he got up from his position.

"Sir, We don't know." The policeman replied.

James remembered that he once told Jenna to hide in the underground chamber in case any danger would arise, And immediately ran towards the bedroom.

As soon as he reached the bedroom, He instantly pushed the bed away and opened the door that leads toward the underground chamber.

After opening it, James quickly hopped inside as he fell unto the ground and landed safely.

He immediately surveyed the surroundings and saw a glimpse of a crying child under the yellowish dimmed light.

James' unease state drastically composed after seeing his daughter safe and sound.

Jasmine took a glance and uttered while she wiped away the tears that blurred her vision, "Papa?"

James immediately ran towards jasmine and hugged her tightly, "I'm sorry papa's late. I'm sorry sweetie." As he mumbled in a trembling voice.

Jasmine held him tightly as she continued crying.

Then both of them stayed at their exact position, Comforting one another and slowly fading away the unsettling feeling they had.

"Papa, Where is mama?" Jasmine asked.

James gritted his lips as he held Jasmine softly and tapped her head. While Jasmine continuously asked about her mother's whereabouts, James teared up and didn't speak a single word.

Then a policeman called for james from up above the chamber's entrance, "Sir Ashburn? Are you there?"

James glanced and saw the Policeman waiting for him, "Yes. I'm here with my daughter."

"Oh okay sir, Would you like some assistance?"

"No, I'll handle everything here. Please tell the others to leave the house."

"Okay sir, I'll tell them and stop the investigation. Since Sir edwardo also called me to stop and leave the house after you arrive."

"Okay, Thanks." James replied.

"Papa, Did something happen? Mama told me to stay here and wait for her." Jasmine said.

"Mama, Is currently far away right now sweetie. She told me to come and pick you up."

"Okay papa, So where did mama go?"

"She went to a very far place, A place where you won't feel sad anymore."

"I want to go there too papa!" Jasmine excitedly said.

James forced a smile as he muttered, "Come on sweetie, Let's go out for now and have breakfast."

Then the two of them got out of the Chamber and ate breakfast in the restaurant that was infront of their Convenient store.
