Simu's expression was serious as the shining light enveloped his body.

With all his strength and speed, Leboe sliced through the air, aiming to land a decisive blow.

The flickering arc of light on Leboe's blade made Simu's skin tingle as he approached. 

Leboe's eyes were steady, filled with killing intent, as he ignored Simu's lightsaber and channeled all his strength into a powerful attack. 

The thunder tore through the night, illuminating everything around them. 

At the same moment, Simu's lightsaber pierced straight through Leboe's chest, breaking through his defenses.

Leboe's heart beat fiercely as Simu's lightsaber pierced through it, completely shattering it. Instead of fear, an excited expression spread across his face. 

He was prepared to exchange his life for Simu's! 

With one hand, he grabbed Simu, while the other, charged with the terrifying power of Thunder, swung down to strike.

The Thunder Blade swept across Simu's neck, aiming to behead him. 

In shock, Simu's eyes widened as the blade sliced through his throat. 

His head fell slowly, astonishment still etched on his face. 

Then, the corner of his mouth curled into a strange smile.

"Can you catch the light?" 

The astonishment on Simu's face quickly shifted to confusion for Leboe. 

He couldn't understand how Simu was still alive after he had clearly severed his head. 

Without hesitation, Simu twisted the long sword in his hand, completely shattering Leboe's heart.

Seeing Leboe's death, Shige rushed toward Simu without hesitation. 

He hoped to buy Shibo even a little more time, even if it meant sacrificing his own life. 

Simu admired Shige's bravery but knew they were still enemies. He couldn't let any sympathy interfere at this moment. 

Going all out was the best way to respect his opponent.

"Earth Style: Dungeon Wall!" 

Shige's goal was clear: he didn't want to kill or even injure Simu; he just needed to buy some time. 

The ground around Simu rose quickly, and four earthen walls formed a cage to trap him.

Thick walls began to rise in front of him, trying to slow Simu down.

The flickering golden light shattered against the wall and then flowed together like water, converging from all directions. 

In the end, it landed right in front of Shige. 

"Have you ever been kicked by the speed of light?" 

Dazzling golden light filled his vision. 

"Boom!" 

An indescribably powerful impact struck him, creating a flash of light that smashed through countless trees and left a deep hole in the ground.

Simu slowly retracted his feet but realized he couldn't move. 

Tayura stood behind him, forming hand signs. 

The shadow beneath Tayura stretched unnaturally until it connected with Simu's shadow. 

It was the Shadow Binding Technique of the Nara clan.

"Who would have thought that the ninjutsu I learned from the Nara clan would be useful now?" Tayura said with a smirk.

He had kept his mastery of the Shadow Binding Technique a secret, waiting for this moment. 

"Now, just one detonation talisman will send you to your end." 

With the shadow binding in place, he prepared to control Simu.

With his other hand, Tayura pulled out a kunai with a detonating charm and aimed it at Simu. 

"In this state, you won't be able to use that strange ninjutsu now!" 

Under the effects of the Shadow Binding Technique, any flow of chakra was blocked. 

Even Simu's light escape wouldn't be able to break free from his restraints. 

Just as Simu was about to move, a shadow suddenly rushed past him—it was Hyuga Lindy!

Her short black hair flew as she moved. 

To stop Kushina and Lindy from fighting back, the Kumo Shinobi had placed a seal on them that restricted their chakra flow. 

But now, Lindy was determined to save Simu and forcefully broke through the curse seal. 

Bright red blood flowed from the corner of her mouth.

But she didn't care. Using her Byakugan, she calculated the trajectory of the kunai and went for it. 

She was determined to protect Simu, even at the cost of her own life. 

With a swift motion, Lindy struck the kunai with a Gentle Fist technique.

The detonator ignited quickly, engulfing Lindy and Simu in a massive explosion. Flames roared through the trees. 

Tayura finally let out a sigh of relief. 

"Hey, kid, you're still no match for me," he said, wiping his face as he turned to leave. 

But then he thought he heard a voice that sent chills down his spine.

"It's so scary, I almost got killed."

Simu walks out of the flames with Lindy in his arms. "Mr. Simu..."

Lindy seemed a little shy because of being hugged by Simu.

But soon happy again.

"Simu-kun... I'm glad you're okay." she said with relief. Simu let out a sigh.

Simu gently placed Lindy on the ground and wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth. 

"Don't ever block a blow for me again in the future, okay?" he said seriously. 

Lindy blinked her big, watery eyes and nodded slyly, clearly not promising at all. 

Just as Simu was about to speak again, Lindy pointed at Tayura and whispered,

"He's going to run away."
