Chapter 9 : Attack On Half Gods

I'm finally in this place, it is a snowy area, the sky in here is coloured in a deep dark blue and both the sun and moon can be seen on opposite sides from where I stand, it's at the center of the town I'm in, I feel a nice cold breeze around my hair and I for some reason have the feeling it slaps my nose.

I now lurk in the shadows of this town, it is called White District from the ruckus I've heard by the civilian of different species, it's a big town with lots of people outside unlike the previous one, there is a restaurant on my way, the most common race to be seen here is crocodiles, just by looking at them I can tell they're not dangerous they all wear necklaces which means they are the property of someone... Crocodiles are cute, so cute that I might buy myself one in a near future. Other species are bunnymen and bunnywomen as well as lionman, the bunny kind all have these big ears and from past experiences I can tell they love to jump everywhere, they all are wearing simple clothes for men and dresses for women.

Meanwhile, the lion kind all have mustaches just like all kitsune, except me does, they also are much taller than the bunny kind, and everyone else is from the mankind and there isn't many of them, not a single kid is in this town.

Anyways, I walk inside the town without hiding my wonderful purple fox ears, some humans look at me with disgust while others don't care about it but they don't harm me either, the lions roar to their friends when they see me, the bunnies are busy drinking in the restaurant not so far away. I try to go to the spot where my targets are, I have to get rid of them, a man stops me from going to the military zone, a middle-aged man who's wearing a cape, a big brown jacket to protect him from the cold, he has white gloves to hide his hands.

He gently touched my hair with his hands and played with them like I would with a pasta and a fork, our eyes meet under this guy weird habit.

"Greetings young kitsune. You seem lost, do you want my assistance for something ?" he smiled at me while asking.

"Well huh..." I timidly blushed not knowing what to say.

"So you're a shy one. You seemed quite interested in having one of our crocodiles, sorry but they aren't for sell." the man said with his deep voice.

I sigh in disappointment, he pushes me toward a wall, I try to defend myself with magic but can't use it with him around... so I'll just believe that he isn't a problem even with the creepy faces the man can make to disturb me.

"You ate pig recently."

How did he know that ? Did he smell me ?

"Yes." I answer calmly.

"Since you are a kitsune I have a favor to ask you. Tell me about the future." he ordered me with a mysterious voice.

"I can't." I fastly reply, looking away from him.

"I see... Then I'll have to do a bodycheck, just in case. I'm a peacekeeper." he says swiftly as he sniff at my tail.

I don't mind, because he is a peacekeeper, but he takes his time to check that I'm unharmed, he even check inside of my tail that is of a beautiful purple and the end of my tail it's white, after he is done with me he walks away telling me to leave, giving me clothes and to take care of myself.

I don't listen to his advice and go to this military zone that is under the protection of the half god militaries, but they are at their weakest and now that this guy left I can use magic again, testing my limits beforehand and see what they are made of.

Different kinds of the previously mentioned races are in my way, pushing me like they are in a hurry on purpose, like I did something bad to their families, I keep on walking to this location that I can't unsee, a big building made out of rocks and the walls painted in brown. I take a look at the guards that are still in their green working outfits, they all look down on me once they see me...

"Do not disturb us or you'll regret it." the soldier with a hat said with a serious face.

"Go back to where you belong, to the kindergarten." said the other one, they look the same to me.

I raise my right hand, creating a big ball of pink fire and throw it at them without holding back, the only thing I have to do is to breath in order to throw at the same time a giant blue fire at them and they make the flames disappear just by moving the palm of their hands towards them.

Well I'm not good at teaching lessons, so I can't explain magic by myself, I just use the energy of nature like them and in order to cast it I have to move. I walk back throwing as many fireballs as I could from my hands, they instantly react to them and turn them to nothingness with their darkness powers.

"Why are they so strong ?" I muttered to myself. "I don't want to kill you, I just warn you to not attack the kingdom of the Princess of Darkness, the great and only Plutaria Nekretia." I tell them raising my eyebrows and unconsciously complimenting her.

"So you knew of our plans, sadly for you we will not let this kingdom last longer under the reign of these incompetents." The first man said with a scary face like he was surprised.

"We can make peace !" I declare, my hand raised.

"Do you really think we would believe the words of an horny teenage girl like you ?" He asked doubting me because I am only wearing my white underwears.

"Let's do what she says." the other guy winked at him.

They stop attacking me, I do the same, I'm happy that they could understand that peace is the solution for them to live. They let me enter into their base while keeping a watch on me, but right after they get in, they lock the door and for some reason I can't use my magic or transform. As they see how weak I am without powers and with my fragile body, they handcuff me and hit me with their strongest kicks like I was a training accessory, they hurt me badly for what seems like hours without being tired of it for a even a single second, there are so many bruises I have now because of them... where will I find someone to heal my wounds is the only thing I could think of as of right now.

I'm being treated like a savage animal, they leave me here, the room is similar to the one were Plutaria left me on the elf village.

But there is no window in here, just darkness and a glimpse of moonlight, and here I am, alone. I just don't want to turn into a mass killer because taking a life is not something I want to be accustomed to, but because of me being naive I'm now all alone, stuck here in this cold dark place.

All I can do in here is try to remove the handcuffs by shaking my hands, but even by forcing myself to, they are too hard to remove on my own. If I had someone to help me it would be a different story, that's why during this time I try to stay awake. Time passes like the breeze of the wind, half an hour later, the door opens and the one who entered making all this light come from the outside was none other than...
