Kitsune Hero to Villain

That's it I give up being a hero, I learned so much through these 3 years of experience that it made me realize, that we and my group saved bad people when we should have let them die.

"I need your help !"

"What are you doing here, hero ?"

"I want to join you. I'm sick of being a hero."

"Oh. So ? Prove yourself useful and your life will be spared."

"My friends, the heroes, their plan is to destroy the darkness crystals to stop the end of the world and kill the demon king."

"Have you ever played Hypno Faerio ?"

"No"

"It's simple, fake being possessed. After all, you wouldn't want to be their enemies."

"You are nicer than the people I save"

"Why betray them when you've been with them for 3 whole years ?"

"It's tough being me, a fricckin kitsune, everyone hates me, they never thank me, they even try to kill me."

"Oh man, what a waste. Turning you into a slave would be better, well whatever I'm not going to rape you. So beg me to help you and I'll help."

"I'm begging you ! Help me stop them !"

"What a lovely kitsune you are. Hm... wait !"

The dude seems to be glaring at me and behind me there are my friends, they think I'm in trouble but I'm not.

Wolfgirl, wolfboy, beargirl and catboy, weapons in their hand, they aim at the dude while worrying for me and the wolf girl shouting out loud.

"What are you doing with the Demon King's shadow soldier ?!"

"Foolish breedable girl, I took possession of your fox friend. If you wish to stop me from destroying the world, you must kill me."

"I know you're faking it ! We've been friends for 3 years ya know ?"

"I was busy with my own thoughts..." being caught so easily saddens me.

"Wait guys ! Maybe she tries to convince the guy to be our friend !" Says the idiot on our group, the catboy.

Wolfgirl look at me, staring deep into my eyes, I can't resist the urge to look away, I was always scared of her ever since we came into contact.

"Don't think so"

"Maybe she doesn't want to save the world." Says the beargirl with her brown hairs without a care in the world but she does care.

"Not that I'm against heroes reunions, but I'll have to do my part."

The shadow guy is holding a huge sword, he goes straight at wolfgirl at an incredible speed, she counter attacks with her normal sized sword, the others are just watching and I trip from the cliff while trying to find excuses.

I only manage to cling to it with my hands, the beargirl runs towards me and she saves me by giving me her hand, it was the first in my life I felt like I was someone and not just a hero, I was filled with the joy of being saved.

She then put me by the boys side while the other two are fighting.

I throw blue fireballs at wolfgirl, she is our leader mostly because she is smarter and not attracted by money unlike the girl who saved me.

She saw what I did and dodged at the last moment.

"Are you trying to kill me !?"

"No ! But my aim is getting better."

"Do that again and I'll beat the shit out of you !"

"Sorry, go get him ! I guess..."

Well, when I think about it, I definitely was able to change the future by coming here, now I'll try to see what's to come.

A ray of light, an explosion, earth is gone, I wake up in a bedroom that looks like mine.

Out of the vision now.

"Yes !"

"You're weak but still have the power to beat my lord you scumbags."

"Isn't ending the world much of a scumbag thing to do ?"

"Heroes dies."

Shadow dude and wolfgirl are fighting each other, I thought of helping her then I ran away from my party.

The catboy notices and nod, following me.

"Where you goin little fox ?"

"Touching some grass."

"Oh come on, don't be a meanie or I'll eat a birdie."

"I don't mind that."

"Anyway, I'll never forget the time we all spent together."

"Good for you."

"Let's save the world once again !"

I nod, our leader won the fight, we then came back taking the right path, but because I took my time the demon lord could start the world ending ceremony without us being in the way unlike in my vision.

When we finally arrived, the demon king clapped, laughing at us all but deep down I knew what was to come.

The rain was heavy, making our hairs and clothes wet, even my tail is awfully cold now, yet my party is fighting trying to close the gap with the 2 meters tall demon.

I did avoid death, but now I might have to do something to survive, to live my life to the fullest, today is when I retire being a hero so I put myself on my kneels while looking at our enemy.

"Please spare my life ! I'll be in your care !" I scream that in such a desperate way that it makes our leader angry, she uses her sword that is glowing with the power of light, one of the few who can kill the demons.

My beargirl friend, Karen uses her gun and aim at the demon king, she rapidly fires at him a paralyzing bullet that hits him while I'm still begging for my life, I know I'm miserable as of right now. But none of my dreams has ever been fullfilled in my life, not even once.

The dumb guy from our party, helped our leader during the fight and he was knocked out by the demon lord, then something weird happened. When I touched the grass, the world ending ritual has ended, making me our opponent's ally.

I looked at my friends one last time before everything goes kaboom, when I think about what was meant to happen and what happened now, I could only be relieved from the stress that the fear of death gave me, the chills down my spine are finally gone.

Everything in my vision happened.

And now after I saw the world being shattered like a vase, I didn't even give a shit about the billions of people I got killed.

I'm staying sitting on my bed, it's my bedroom but something feels different.

At the time I go out of my room, an unexpected surprise awaits me...

It's the demon king congratulating me for destroying the world while glaring into my eyes.

"You are worthy of being my right arm. Now you must be lost in their. No worries. Thanks to you, I captured the heroes, killed all their relatives and gained in power."

"I just touched some grass..."

"But before talking about where we are ! I just want you to know, that I shall allow you to go everywhere and even in my room. This grass like you say, was put in this place so that one of my allies could push it."

"Where are we ? What should I do now ?"

"You are in my ship, we'll be back in my homeworld in a few days. Till then, I want you to give me details about the experiences your friends will get in my top notch secret laboratory."

So that was it, now I'm becoming the vilain in some ways, but if it means he'll be grateful to me someday, then it's good. Because the world didn't care about me, so I'm stopping caring about them.

"And out of curiosity... why do you need power ?"

"To kill God, the most powerful being in the universe."

He then left me to a secret laboratory where my friends are locked in a shady place with some cellars.
