punishment

   " You should try something original ", my eyes swept over his stylish black coat with a neck scarf and his clean shave which makes him more handsome.

   He smiles and lays a quick kiss on the back of my hand " You are aware that I am not creative "

   I laugh out locking my arms into his.

     " Only try it out "

  " And what would you do? "he asked squeezing my hand. 

    " You would be shocked by the numerous I already have " I brag drawing him closer. We walk so closely our skin touch.

   " You were always the creative one " he stops and hugs me.

    Aziel POV

        I pull her into a warm hug. The lavender scent fills my nose. She smells like home, my home. How could I ever ignore her she is my reason to live. I feel amiss around her pureness. She is so beautiful inside and out. My one wish is to hold them like this forever, she is all mine. I love her, I do.

     " Where were you?  " Pearl's sweet voice echoes in my ears. 

   " At work " I lied letting go of her.

   She gazes at me intently " No matter how cute, you look now I will still punish you " she feigns anger and dramatically faces somewhere else with her arms crossed over her chest." You left me to ride with Steve, he could not even say a word to me ".

   How would he my sweet wife, I told him not to engage in a conversation with you unless needed.

    She turns around and wraps her fair slender arms over my shoulder, biting those red full lips she says " I will leave a lipstick mark on your collar where everyone would see it and you will be very embarrassed "

   A smile formed on my lips, she is the shy one then why would I ever feel shy . A simple lipstick mark would not affect me at all, If she wished I would get a tattoo of her name  on my wrist or chest.

      Pearl tilts her head slightly looking amuse " Do you think it's funny? "

    Only then did I realise I am smiling while watching her. " No " I sarcastically said. 

   Again, she bites her lips seductively and leans to kiss my collar for my punishment. Her scent fills my nose, I want her badly she turns me on anytime we are this close. Only God knows how I manage to free myself, in these five years.

       I could discern disappointment in her eyes 👀 when she staggers back.

     Pearl's POV

        I lean in to place a lipstick stain on his collar as a penalty for letting Steve bring me to the red mall in a different city, a three-hour car ride. Even when we were not exactly on talking terms he would invariably accompany me through the long drive.

     Like a sweet dream, the aftermath is the waking up part. I am dreaming and the message on my phone is my wake-up alarm. It is a photo of Aziel hugging an instantly recognizable and laudable lady. It's 'Daniella King ' the first girl rumoured to be the only girl to end the relationship with Aziel. Flawless as usual, this girl looks the same as she did five years back. In the photo, they are in the ring section of the mall. So, I certainly saw him at the mall. 

   My bitterness rises and I stare at him disappointed and angry.
