The Shihati Desi

The wind was very gusty and the trace of burning flares on the reflection of the sunlight can be within the surroundings. Gaia the wandering Zodiac was filled with his own sweat and is very tired on the path that he had being taken. as he continues to make his way to Varys Desi the land of the Zodiac Taurus while crossing a very hot desert.

dry lips due to the lack of water he brought and he could only drink a few drops from it. he tries to bear even the grumbling of his stomach and keeps his spirit awake even though he is very tired.

As he walked the very difficult path that covered his every step with sand, he saw a group of men who seemed to be waiting for him.

even though he couldn't see very well because of the wind and his eyes were burning because of the sand, he knew that trouble awaits for him on the way he was going.

although he is not that complacent to fight in these times, he has no other choice but to move forward and let those who are waiting for him be terrified.

he removed the robe that wrapped his body against the strong wind. The Crest of the House of VEA exposed itself to the bandits who were waiting for him. and the mark of being a High Guardian can be identified base from the crest on his chest along with the tailored design of the mark of being a Taurus.

The bandits were intimidated because of what he did and they had second thoughts about doing harm to him. they knew that a High Guardian was too strong and they could die if they tried to fight one of them.

Hey! what is a High Guardian doing in this place? shouted a bandit as Gaia walked straight pass thru them.

He stopped walking and stared at the bandits. I have an important mission that only I can do. he said so they wouldn't ask him anymore.

but before he could continue walking, he saw that one of the bandits was carrying a bottle full of water. he walked up to them and glared at the whole group.

Can I have some of your water? Gaia said while maintaining his intimidating posture and look.

H-e-r-e-e take this we can still get another supply of water. stammered a bandit as he handed the water bottle while his hands were shaking and gave it to Gaia.

There was no more movement and Gaia quickly grabbed the bottle of water that the bandit handed to him and quickly walked away.

when he saw that he was a little far away from the bandits, he hurriedly opened the water he was carrying and immediately drank this water as if it was the first day he drank enough water again.

little by little his body is regaining strength and he has the strength to walk again.

Gaia continued his journey through the desert again and saw signs with warnings all around. In every corner of the path that he walks, marks will be seen everywhere. it has skull symbols that contain poison.

this is a sign that he is near the border of Shihati Desi, the place of Zodiac Scorpios. trained assassins with the ability to release poison from any type of weapon they use or even touch.

As he reached the front gate of the Shihati Desi, there was one Shihatium that welcomed him in from the gate.

Who are you and what is your purpose on entering our border? word of Shihatium.

Gaia stood up gracefully and introduced himself. I am Gaia, the High Guardian of the House of VEA. I came here because of an important mission.

the people around whispered as they heard that a High Guardian had visited their Desi.

But before he was even allowed inside, the Shihatium who greeted him spoke again. how can we be sure that you are really a High Guardian from the house of VEA?

Didn't you see my outfit? Gaia replied and seemed annoyed by Shihatium's tone.

Sorry brave warrior of VEA. we know that Crest is proof that it came from inside the castle but you may not be the real owner of that garment.

can you show us one more proof that you are a High Guardian?

Gaia was silent for a moment and suddenly he laughed very loudly. HAHAHA! are you implying that I should prove my ability as a High Guardian in front of you? Do you know that in just half an hour I can kill all the people inside your Desi?

Shihatium's ears perked up at Gaia's bragging about killing everyone in their Desi and it pulled out a poisoned dagger.

He didn't like the threat that the High Guardian said and he couldn't just let it be.

But after a while a woman approached the Shihatium and calmed him down. the girl whispered something and the Shihatium immediately dropped his weapon.

He apologized for his behavior and bowed his head in front of Gaia.

The woman walked towards Gaia and she had the mark of being a Zodiac Scorpio on her legs. I am Aphina. one of the Shihati Desi princesses. sorry for the behavior of my kind.

Aphina summoned the other Shihatium to escort Gaia into their Desi and to give him food and a place to rest. Gaia didn't even hesitate and just followed the Shihatiums lead because he was also too exhausted and very hungry from his travel across the desert.
