Chapter 5:no one noticed

At exactly midnight the birthday girl a young skinny about 170cm in height blonde teenage girl dressed in a pretty blue sparkly gown looking like straight up from some fairy tale made an appearance at her party getting a lot of cheers and clapping from her friends and after a short meaningless speech about her life and love for friends she cut her second if not infinite cake of the day and officially opened the celebration.Emily ,the birthday girl and the state senator's daughter joined circle of friends and started partying and drinking while also a bit of dancing.

What nobody noticed was the182cm tall jet black haired male in a black leather jacket and some black pants cold expression when Emily walked in that quickly disappeared after but the temperature nearby seemed to have dropped by some degrees .He had a slight indifferent look but he would continue to mumble from time to time .As the party went on , people became rowdy as everyone became more drunk .The noise was quite high and the music still loud Cliff still seated in the same spot with a small still full shot glass in his hands suddenly moved."Let her go now ,"he suddenly commanded in the coldest voice ever that left the ginger short ugly male who was grabbing the now drunk Ella's hand even as she attempted to protest .As if by magic he let her go and quickly fled the scene as if chased by a predator.

He the took Ella and made her sit on a couch and quickly forced her to drink a glass of water to try and clear her mind .He didn't really care about Ava her girlfriend since he could not really spot her and assumed she'd left or was just somewhere since she was cousins with the birthday girl Emily."You'll have to act sober since I promised your parents I was not going to let you drink,"said Cliff to Ella who was slowly coming to her senses .

After about and hour around 4 Am in the morning he quickly helped her get in the car and then drove her home and he didn't have a hard time since he pretty much had not touched any alcohol or drugs that evening.Ella on the other hand was a mess and her makeup and beautiful black dress that matched her black hair was literally in a mess , disheveled and almost In tatters for the dress .He quickly dropped her off and after avoiding her parents and putting he after wards notified them and excusing her as been tired ,he returned the car key and took a walk to his home which was not that far from there .

Once he got there he took a walk showered and got into his room quietly afraid of waking up his sister and parents.He then took out his phone and made a phone call before getting in bed and sleeping for the first time a long time looking forward for what was to come the day that followed.
