SIQ Test

With the growing population of pirates, the overall situation within the seas and lawless areas were increasing everywhere.

Even Rica Island was starting to experience its first wave of problems in a long time and the lawless king was busy with power struggles and bringing the new people who had arrived under his rule.

A month had passed and small changes were happening everywhere as many of the crew members had took on what Alyssia had taught them and they had each gone back to their original roles just before the pirates started to cause any major disturbances for the White Storm.

Dr Indigo, Tristan and Alyssia were mainly focussed on their development of different types of drugs and serums while Ein, Ashwin and Nica were focussed on weapons development and working on a mech design under the project name Valkyrie.

Their combined efforts allowed for many breakthroughs in the research of different types of projects related to serums and other types of medicinal solutions to help build up immunity to different types of poisons, venoms and diseases.

On a sky island on the white sea, a figure of a young lady stood with a small cat by her side.

The young lady was very tall as she was much over six foot tall and had animal features and a tail so the small cat looked tiny by her side.

Alyssia took out a strange looking serum before removing the protective seal on the needle. "This should hurt but you have been expecting this. Be brave little one!"

Li tilted her head in confusion but when her eyes focussed on the serum, her eyes turned excited as if she had caught sight of a new toy or delicacy. "Meow! Mroow. (Mommy! Give me.)"

Just as she was about to move forward, Alyssia sat down with Li between her hands as she restrained her.

The needle entered the body of Li and she let out a small cry.

After injecting the whole contents of the serum, Alyssia removed the needle and then stopped restraining Li before taking a step back as she backed away.

Li's body started to heat up as she underwent changes throughout her body.

The SIQ serum that had been made specifically for her body had started to work as it started changing her to suit her current environment.

She was evolving to suit the white sea within the sky, her body size was beginning to grow and her physique was becoming much more powerful.

Over the period of a couple of hours, she had to endure through the changes while Alyssia observed everything and occasionally gave her some liquid food solution to keep her energy levels up and keep her awake during the changes so that she would not fall unconscious from hunger or the pain.

She was by Li's side the whole time until Li finally appeared before her in the completed form.

Her previous body which only went past Alyssia's ankle had grown past her thigh and was a tiny bit shorter than her knee area.

The build of Li's body had become very streamline as it was suited for fast movement and agility and her claws and teeth had become much sharper.

The overall toughness, stamina and strength of her body had increased a little more but she experienced the largest growth on her overall agility.

The biggest changes were the feather patterns on her legs just above her paws, on the end of her tail, around her neck and the pair of wings that had grown out from her back that resembled either an angel wing like the Birkan tribe or feathered birds wing similar to a gryphon.

The wings were stretched out as Li found them to be amusing to play with but she was very clumsy upon using them for the first time.

In the end, she ended up rolling around on the floor but as the wings bad not been brought back in, her roll was obstructed resulting in a comical scene of a confused cat.

Eventually she learned how to properly use her wings but also how to spread them out and how to wrap them around and close to her body so that they did not get in the way of her rolling around.

Alyssia watched on and sighed. "Well.. it is a success and some things have been confirmed about the solution. The environment can have a big effect on the evolution so it could be best to let other beasts experience evolution in places that are related to their weakness. That way they can overcome that weakness after they have evolved. There is also the possibility of some lucky ones to develop a power of their own but this may also be influenced by a more extreme environment. Some environments could be simulated by weather science to control these factors but there are also some other environments that cannot always be replicated so there may be a needed location to visit to achieve the best results. For example an extreme ice land or a volcanic island would be best for those with weaknesses to heat and cold."

Li tilted her head cutely and then let out a meow. "Meoww meow mrow, row (mommy! Look, so strange!)"

Li was quite excited at her changes as she had moved at a very fast speed around as if unobstructed by the wind and she circled around Alyssia but Alyssia leaned over and caught her by the back of her neck and lifted her up. "Well… it did not help with developing the intelligence I guess but this is still a good result already. Lets go home little one."

However as she approached the edge of the sky island, a playful light appeared in her eyes. "Sorry little one. To learn to walk, one must first fall many times before they can walk properly. So… fall."

She let go of Li and the winged cat fell from the sky island. "Mrooooooooooow!"

After that, Alyssia stepped off too and quickly caught up to the panicking winged cat as it screeched at a very high pitch.

Alyssia kept controlling her descent as she moved by Li's side and tapped the wings of Li several times resulting in Li instinctively moving them until they had been properly spread out and they slowed down her fall.

The winged cat was gliding downward much slower than before and Alyssia started kicking her legs to allow herself a smoother descent until she was able to Moonwalk by Li's side.

She occasionally tapped the wings and moved them to let Li get used to flapping them and positioning them to allow for better gliding, control of her direction of flight and the speed but also to let her slowly grasp how to fly.

Animals are instinctual beings that learn by experience so the best way for Li to learn was to make her overcome the lack of practice with her wings with real experience.

Once she had overcome the life and death practice, simple actions and things to learn on how to master her body would no longer need to be taught or learned since she was able to slowly adapt and grow familiar with her movements during her fall when she was most desperate to survive.

Li who was the tiny kitten with the ability to turn bigger with her Lynx Zoan Devil Fruit powers often walked around in a little protective space suit which made her look very cute had transformed into a slightly bigger and majestic winged cat that was able to fly through the sky and move very fast even without its Devil Fruit powers.

Alyssia observed carefully as the cat had later grasped the movements and circled around her quickly. "I knew that you had the potential in you to survive and come out the other side even better than before. I cannot yet imagine how much your evolution will be when layered with a newly fitted suit and your devil fruit ability. It is worth looking forward to. So follow me back home and I will prepare you some fish."

Upon hearing the word fish, Li turned excited and circled around Alyssia many times quickly and then chased after her as Alyssia made her way back down towards Rica Island.
