Rica Island’s War #6

While the Lawless Zone was being attacked in many ways to cause chaos within and on the walls, the capitals army arrived at the gates and were met with a fierce resistance upon being spotted while they were approaching.

The fight started off as a ranged battle as they traded gun shots and other projectiles until the numbers were reduced and the people of the capital became much braver.

Shield and armour units along with some minor foot soldiers pushed forward as they secured the front and started setting up means of seizing the walls.

Some carried ladders and hooks attached to rope to allow themselves to climb upwards while others carried a battering ram as they started striking at the gate while under fire.

The people on the walls responded quickly and poured hot liquids down to burn and knock those climbing back down while they did the same to those striking at the gate to reduce the power they could exert as they were striking the gate.

One of the main warriors was faster than others and much more agile so he ran up the ladder the first opportunity that he got and started to fight against those on the wall as he provided the others a moment to climb up too.

The shield and ranged unit kept in place where they were best put to use while the foot soldiers used their numbers to overwhelm the people on the walls and buy time for the gate to be smashed.

More and more strong people from the army had made their way up so they were able to deal with the stronger people who provided backup on the walls as more and more people came to fight against the people of the capital.

"Capital dogs! Go back where you came from!"

"Vile spawns! Filthy creatures! Die!"

"Hypocrites!"

"Brutes!"

"Argh!"

"Hahaha! Urgh.."

They were fighting for a long time and there were even spears and javelins that were thrown over the walls by both sides which further increased their power struggle.

The chaos created within and on the other wall had helped the people of the capital to have their burden lessened but since they had attracted a lot of attention to themselves, they still had to deal with the constantly increasing reinforcements that came from within the walls.

Bang!

Bang!

Thud!

Crack!

Bang!

Slowly the gate was showing signs of weakening and the strategist raised his hand. "Prepare the mounted unit for combat and await the signal! Be prepared to cut a path through the enemies forces!"

While they were showing signs of breaking into the walls of the lawless zone, the other gate had already been breached.

A little while earlier, there were several explosions that went off one after another and the walls were no longer well defended as Sunila, Alfred and Jester had each played their part in the strategy.

"Now it is my turn." Zhihaojin was dressed in some armour as he walked forward out in the open towards the gate and increased his pace.

Just as an arrow was about to hit his body, another arrow accurately hit the flying arrow which caused it to not hit him so he confidently moved forward as he received protection from above him.

Upon arriving at the gate, he held his two hammers and swung out one as he struck the gate followed by another strike with the other hammer as they started following a certain rhythm.

The already loosened gate which had the beam damaged or destroyed by the blasts was further damaged by his attacks as they increased the damage done with every blow that followed until the gates were blown upon with a strong force.

Many people had arrived not too far away as they prepared to defend the gate from intruders so they quickly tried to close the distance and prevent Zhihaojin from entering but someone was already much faster than them.

The moment that Zhihaojin had shown signs of breaking the very strong gates defences, a large figure rushed forward. "Shield and spear units forward! Every unit! Get into formation and follow behind! Capture the gate and wall area and push forward! I will create a path for us!"

Liushi rushed forward excitedly and waved the two large weapons in his hand as he ran before he had rushed past Zhihaojin and met the approaching forces head on.

A large slash of his heavy weapons had a strong crushing power that destroyed his enemies defences from the first attack and the large flying wind blade caused even more destruction. "Hehehe."

He spun his body around which allowed for the blade in his other hand to come back around and create a strong force and flying wind blade that further allowed for more damage to be done not just in front of himself but also to those in the path of that swing of his blade.

He started getting excited as he completed the first moves and he quickly entered the middle of the enemies formation that had already been partly destroyed.

A quick tornado like movement at the middle of them created several more flying wind blades and cut those apart that had survived.

Upon stopping, he had looked at the surroundings with slight disappointment in his eyes. "I got too excited again.. but these guys.. what a letdown. Oh well."

He saw more of them approaching so he started to attack the much bigger and dangerous looking groups.

Gunshots were fired towards him but he lifted his large war glaives to block and parry them while he moved forward and released more large flying wind blades.

Suddenly another flying wind blade had crashed into his own but because of the difference in power, Liushi's had continued onwards a little while before it dispersed.

The forces behind him entered the walls and started to secure the place near the gats and some of them pushed further inwards.

The shield unit provided extra protection for the spear and staff units as they held their ground while the blade and blunt weapon units entered into a close melee with anyone they came across and the ranged units belonging to the Pop Green, throwing, gunner, bow or science units provided support from behind the shield and spear units.
