Chapter 17 - A Club in Hongdae (1)

After that day, Oh Min-Hee met Music Producer Tae eight more times in the last one and the half month. It was the starting of February and HBYE Label along with its subsidiary Mega Smash Entertainment was busy with the promotion of the new album that BTS is going to release. It is the biggest movement the company made since she joined the agency. Everyone was busy because she could feel it in the atmosphere and the people buzzing around from one department to another department has increased in the last week or so. But nothing much changed for the trainees. It was the same as usual.

Meanwhile, Music Producer Tae entered a club in Hongdae. The club name was Boreumdal which meant the full moon. Just like the moon, the club has the bright side and the dark side. At first it would seem like any other club in Hongdae but the club which he entered had two different areas for different customers. One area were for the normal customers but there was another area which was divided by a gate and two security guards in different locations inside the club. If anyone unintentionally or deliberately tried to enter the area, the security guards will kindly move the customer away but if they don't listen to them, the security guards will rough them up and kick them out of the club.

Music producer Tae headed towards one of the gate inside club among the crowds of people dancing around. When he reached the gate, one of the security guard showed the motion 'STOP' with his hands. Music Producer Tae didn't panic and took his mobile phone from his pocket and searched for the special QR code in his message application. The Boreumdal Club has a system installed that will send the special members of the club a QR code when they are within hundred meters of the club. The QR code will only be active for thirty minutes and once the time passes the QR code becomes useless. If by some chance one is not able to enter that area within the allotted time, the said person has to take his phone hundred meters away from the club and then re-enter the area. Some people initially complained when the new system was initiated but after some time all complains went down and all member followed the rule.

Music Producer Tae showed the QR code to one the security guards. The security guard then scanned the QR code. After confirming the authenticity of the QR code, they let him enter.

At the other side of the gate, a server wearing a butler suit was waiting. Music producer Tae then gave his personal items including his wallet and mobile phone. He looked ahead and saw that there were many rooms and it would be hard to find the room were his friends are therefore he asked the server.

"Which room is Carlson at?"

The server without any hesitation said in a cordial tone.

"This way sir. Please follow me."

He followed the server and soon reached the room where his friends were. The server kindly opened the door of the room. After Music Producer Tae entered the room, the server closed the door promptly.

Inside the room, he saw three of his friends enjoying themselves.
