Season 1 (CH21):

(A/N: Forgot how I described his mom so I will just be say here and now that she looks like Kate Hudson, her name is also Penny. If there are some writing errors I am sorry, I will try and edit a little better.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Are you ready to get you butt kicked?" His mom asked as they moved through the house getting ready to go bowling, she was smiling the entire time.

"Please you are the one who is going to lose." He said laughing, they were both actually pretty bad at bowling and would compete just for fun. This time since they were betting though so he was going to try a little, he really did want to drive the mustang all week without her being able to take it.

"Oh those are some big words, don't cry to your mom later when I beat you." she said with a smile while grabbing her purse as they headed to the garage.

He shook his head tilting his head at her, "What are you talking about you are my mother."

"Exactly and I didn't raise no baby so don't cry about the lose. I will have fun watching you lose later, and if you do happen to cry then I will drink your tears joyfully." She said with a laugh as they both got into the car.

He rolled his eyes, "You are going to be eating those words later you know? So who is paying for what?"

"Well seeing as you will be driving home since I am drinking then I will pay for the drinks while you pay for the food. Also since I am your mother I will pay for the lanes that we use duh!" She said rolling her eyes.

He only asked because he did like paying for their outings, they didn't get to do it often and from what little money he did make he like spending it so she could have fun nights out. Though she often did give him an allowance he didn't touch that though, he kept that in the bank to pay for college later.

They both enjoyed the ride there belting out and singing as loud as they could, his mom actually had a good voice compared to his which was way worse, he did not get singing from her. Neither one cared though since they just loved to spend time together, she was always so busy in the hospital so they never really got any time together.

She pulled up to the bowling alley and they both walked inside, he didn't see any car from any of the people he knew so they must have not had been there yet. There was only three other cars in the parking lot, some people were taking the curfew seriously ever since the bus driver attack, which he could understand.

"Alright you go get the lane while I grab the food." His mom said while handing him some money from her purse.

He nodded heading over there, they had their own shoes though, they both just didn't like the thought of wearing shoes that had been worn by basically the whole town. After paying he went to lane eleven which was the very last one next to the wall, he met his mom along the way and they both went.

He took the drinks while she carried the nachos, as always she had the foresight to get some forks to eat it with, which he was glad about since he didn't want to touch a bowling ball and his food. As he set the drinks down she put the food next to it before putting in their names, he laughed when she explained them to him.

His name was 'Loser' while hers was 'Winner' she had already decided who it was, which she actually might be right about who knew. With being a high human he could use his new senses and win, but at the same time he wanted to make it fun so he wasn't going to do that to her it would be cheating.

That was another reason he wanted to keep Allison alive, with the reward being a High Human (Enhanced) he wanted to give her one of them. He wasn't going to stop his plans on going to college, while at the same time he couldn't leave her weak in this town, even if she had his clone.

Although he hasn't had the time to talk to her about it he would explain this side of the world to her, it wouldn't do her any good to not know about it, instead it would make things worse. That was all for later though, tonight he was just going to enjoy the night out with her.

"Alright let's get started!" She said with a happy shout as the first pins lowered down for her.

"Wow didn't know you were that ready to lose." He said fro behind her as she walked over to grab her ball so she could take her first roll.

She quickly turned and stuck her tongue out at him before taking her first shot, she cheered as seven pins went down, smirking at him she went for the second shot. He laughed as it was a gutter ball, she pouted but still smiled slightly while taking a drink from her wine cooler that she had got.

"You're up hotshot." She said walking past him.

He smiled while grabbing his ball that looked like the galaxy, rolling his neck he went and took a shot, he decided to use his original skills to take it. Three pins went down, he coughed as his mom busted out laughing from behind him, he just shook his head and waited for the ball to come back.

"Nice shot!" She said while trying to calm her laughing down.

He rolled his eyes but moved to take the next shot, this time he used a little of his senses and was able to knock down six giving him nine to her seven. That made her quiet as she smile/pouted some more before taking a bite of nachos, "I see you are going to make this a challenge for me."

"Of course mother. Who would I be if not your son if I didn't make it hard for you to win." He said with a smile while also getting himself some nachos.

"That is true. Let's get serious now." She said while turning the baseball cap she was wearing around, he imagined epic music starting at that moment making him laugh a little. Over the speakers a song with an upbeat rhythm did start up, it was like they were about to do an intense montage.

"That is one game for me Ryan, you need to pick it up if you don't want to be demoted to a butler for a week." She sang playfully as they were setting up for the next game, their first went by fast as they mainly focused on it.

"Don't worry, that was just game one. This next one I will take you down, this isn't going to be a sweep." He said while taking a drink from his mountain dew.

"We will see about that." She laughed as she reset the board.

As she was doing that he heard some laughing, looking over Lydia, Allison, Scott and Jackson all walked into the place while the girls laughed the boys looked awkward. He did see though that both girls seemed to notice him as they looked around the place, Scott did too as he followed everything that Allison looked at.

Jackson didn't seem to care. Or Maybe he did, he was looking their way a lot.

Ryan just nodded before looking back to his mom, the girls were on a date so he wasn't going to bother them, plus he was still ignoring them at the moment. His mom looked at them too, she gave him a sly grin which made him groan internally as she was giving him a teasing look.

"Well well well. If it isn't your little crush Allison, but what is this, that other girl also looks like something is going on between the two of you. So spill the beans what exactly is going on, because you don't seem as happy to see them as they are to see you." She said while taking a drink not to worried about getting started on the game.

"I won't get out of this without explaining things to you will I?" He said while looking at her.

She smiled which gave him his answer.

"Fine here it is then." He went on to explain everything he had to Erica earlier that day.

"So let me get this straight," She said ten minutes later, he had seen the Scott looked over at the two of them slightly surprised, "You kissed Lydia, who moaned out Jackson's name as you did so. While Allison wants to keep being cuddle buddies even if she does like that kid Scott over there?"

"Yeah that is pretty much it. I have been avoiding them though, I don't want all that drama in my life." He said while biting into the burger he went and bought earlier.

She nodded, "You shouldn't be having it either. As your mother and a woman myself then I will tell you one thing..... Stay away from them, you don't need them to be messing with your head like this. They both obviously don't like you enough if they are out on dates with those to guys even after everything that has happened."

The words stung but he knew that she was right, no one really likes hearing the truth though. If they did have stronger feelings for him then they would be with him instead of on their dates, even after their kiss Lydia was still with Jackson on the date like nothing happened.

Allison wasn't any better, she was trying to have it both ways with being able to sleep in his bed while dating Scott, who her family at the moment was looking for. Not that he would say anything about that though, since again it wasn't his secret to tell anyone.

"Yeah I know." He said while leaning back on the chair.

"Look son, I am not going to tell you how to live your love life, but choose someone else. There is no reason to be hung up on people who don't see you in the same way." She said while patting his shoulder and giving him a hug.

"Yeah don't worry, I am going to get over it." He said while smiling at her, "Come on now, I want to get out of this depressing mood, let's start the second game. We came here for fun not talking about my love life, unless you want to get into yours?"

She shook her head frantically, "Nope not going there at all. Let's get started."
