"dOn'T LeAvE mE.... DoN't LeAvE Me!" The curse yelled in a strange and uncanny voice. The dim light that permeated the surroundings made the scene all the more eerier to look at.
Shuichi's eyes widened and the fleeting hand to fear gripped his heart for a split second. Then the next moment, he became calm. Extremely calm.
'Maybe its the skill at work.' Shuichi thought as he materialized a Naginata in his hand again.
'Doesn't seem like I'm getting out of here without a fight...'
Roar!*
With a roar that shook the very air itself, the curse pushed its oversized body through the hallway of the 4th floor, like bulldozing through a doll house.
"Holy Shit!" Shuichi yelled as he reinforced himself with cursed energy and braced for impact. The hallway was not too spacious and the size of the curse only made it so much worse for himself.
And sure enough, the impact arrived not a second later.
Crash!*
Whizzzzz*
Booooooom!*
With a loud impact, the cursed spirit slammed its head onto the small inconsequential figure of Shuichi, who was promptly thrown to the back of the entire hallway with a gust of wind. The thick concrete walls and the titles that made up the floor and the ceiling were ripped apart by the sheer strength of the impact alone.
Shuichi's figure flew back and hit the very end of the long hallway, kicking up the debris and dust that dulled his sense of vision.
"Puaaahhh!" Shuichi yelled as the air was kicked out of his lungs. For a second, he laid motionless, leaning onto the wall that was still somehow intact.
'Shit... I feel like I've been hit by a goddamn truck!' Shuichi though to himself as he felt a warm liquid travelling down his face from his head.
The semi second grade curse was not something that he was expecting to meet in the school. So far, he had only ever seen some normal cursed spirits that weren't even fourth grade. Where did this behemoth pop out of?
Shuichi didn't have the luxury to think all that. Ignoring the extreme headache that was hitting him, he stood up with difficulty and reinforced his body once again.
The curse continued to stand in the same place that it was, quietly watching him, as if it did not consider him a threat at all.
"You... I'll show you the prize of underestimating me!" Shuichi yelled and materialized a small dagger in each of his hands.
And then, with the proper use of reinforcement, rushed at the cursed spirit.
Zooooonm!*
The tiles under him cracked with the force and with figure rushed out. The cursed spirit, muttering some incoherent words bulldozed it's way through the corridors again.
Shing*
With the sound of a metal being drawn, Shuichi with his ethereal dagger slashed out one of the eyes of the beast.
Spurt!*
Purple blood spurted out onto Shuichi's clothes and without wasting another second, he tried to cut another one of its eye.
Which turned out to be a huge problem...
Fiiiishhhhhh*
With the sound of something tearing through the air, a dart of pure cursed energy rushed out at Shuichi, who, as concentrated as he was in attacking the spirit, was hit right in the arm.
Pierce* "Kuaah!" Shuichi yelled out as the dart like object embedded itself into his arm. And then, without a moment's rest, an enormous weight descended down upon him and he was slammed into the floor.
Crash*
Slam*
His small frame smashed through the floor and descended onto the third floor.
"What the shit?!" He screamed as he pulled the dart out and stood up on his legs, which again proved to be a bad decision on his part, as the blood began to flow in excess.
Suddenly, the blood drained out of his face as he jumped back. And sure enough, the hulking figure of the curse landed where he previously stood.
As the curse landed down, its mane shined with a dark blue flame and more darts rushed out.
A transparent blue shield materialized in front of Shuichi which promptly blocked the darts, not without actually being half-pierced through though.
'I thought that it's hulking figure would limit its movements, thereby giving me an advantage.' Shuichi thought as he jumped around the corridor dodging the darts that were being thrown.
'But it seems like I'm the one at a disadvantage, the giant figure is actually helping it because it had such a high range of attack.' Shuichi contemplated with a pained expression.
Deflecting a dart with his dagger, Shuichi smiled, "Let's take this outside, shall we?" Stating that, he jumped out of the window, smashing it in the process.
With a bang, he landed upon the ground, shattering it in the process and kicking up meager amounts of dust. As he looked up, as if on queue, the curse smashed through the third floor building, "DOnT LEaVE!"
Crash!!!*
The dust it kicked up was dissipated by its movement and then, like a mad bull it dashed against Shuichi while throwing the same darts at him.
"Come here you little shit!" Shuichi yelled as he dodged the darts and transformed the daggers he held into swords. And with a spin, he threw one of them towards the curse, which smashed in the ground beside it. Not before cutting off one of its arms.
"RROOOOOOOOARRR!" The curse roared in pain as the blood soaked the ground.
Without even a second of wasted time, the sword in his hand turned and he ran towards the curse with as much speed as he could muster.
As he reached the cursed spirit, the sword in his hand finally took shape and turned into a chainsaw.
The curse who had recovered at this point lunged at him, to which he responded by kicking it with a cursed energy reinforced leg. As the kick hit, the curse turned the location to its neck which held its huge mane.
As the kick connected, Shuichi's body went numb for a second.
"That's so frigging hard!" He said before the tail of the curse slammed into him, embedding him into the ground.
With pain clouding his mind, he managed to push him off the ground before the curse could end him with a dart to the head.
Shuichi kneeled on the ground and wiped the blood off of his lips, and smiling, he said, "You're not that strong you know. I've faced worse conditions than this."
His predecessor was someone that survived against multiple grade 3s and about 3 grade 2s. Provided that he was only in there for like 3 minutes, but the danger at that time was far higher than now.
"I'll turn you into experience and dance on your grave." Shuichi yelled as he began running all over the ground, cursed energy coursing through his entire body.
His figure turned into a blur that almost merged into the surroundings. Shuichi, at this moment had opened up the skill tree to add 5 skill points to his CQC, elevating it by 100 proficiency. Along with that, he also invested 5 skill points into cursed energy reinforcement, improving it by the same amount.
And as such, he was given a sudden burst of power and speed.
A chainsaw materialized in his hand again and as the curse looked around trying to accurately locate him, he jumped up at his head and the chainsaw fired up with a roar.
Vrum-VRUM!*
Vruuuuuuuuummmmmmmmm!*
Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!*
With a deafening road, he embedded the chainsaw into the head of the curse.
The curse screamed in pain and thrashed around with it's body, but Shuichi held onto the curse by making microscopic strings and latching them onto the mane of the curse.
'Your mane is resistant to blunt force and cursed energy, but that makes it easier for me to grab on with strings!' Shuichi thought with a maniacal grin as the purple blood of the curse splashed all over his small figure.
And after a short struggle, the curse finally went limp and began to disappear.
Shuichi fell onto the ground in defeat.
He had used up a lot in the fight, his cursed energy was almost running dry and he had lost quite a lot of blood.
'...Maybe I should play it safe for some time...' He thought while looking up at the dark sky.
As he was about to close his eyes, suddenly a massive surge in cursed energy overcame him. His body shot upright like a robot, and he felt like he was on caffeine.
"HOLY SHIT!" He yelled and began to jump around like an overcharged battery.
The influx of cursed energy was because he had killed the semi-second grade curse, and all of the remaining cursed energy it had was immediately transferred into his cursed heart.
Although the cursed spirit seemed to have used a lot of cursed energy throwing around the dart like objects it could make, the remaining cursed energy it had was still 5 time greater than Shuichi's total reserves.
It made him wonder how he was able to even beat the thing. But then thinking of his cursed technique and the boost he received during the battle by the system, he was satisfied.
[You have gained a level]

[You have gained a level]
[Your current level is Level: 6]
[For leveling up four times, you have gained 40 skill points!]
And the system notification was the icing on top.
"I feel like I'm high on caffeine!" He yelled as he jumped around the entire school ground.
But then, he realized something. A critical flaw.
He...
'I forgot to put up a curtain!' Upon realizing this, he quickly left the area, not minding the fact that his wounds were still just as bad. The overcharge of cursed energy was really helping him keep his eyes open.
And so, before an experienced sorcerer could get here to examine the disturbance, he left.

2 hours later.
Shuichi's temporary Residence.
Shuichi could be seen laying down on the bed, his eyes filled with pain.
"I see the adrenaline finally wore off..." His upper body was naked while his arm was covered in bandages along with his forehead that was also wrapped up.
On the way, he had decided to buy some healing supplies, some that could help him recuperate better.
He knew that the injuries would not heal with just this. He would need professional medical attention and would probably need to visit a reverse cursed technique user.
But that was exactly why he would be taking some extreme measures to make sure such things don't happen again.
And so, steeling his mind with unshakable resolve, he opened up the system and directly opened the cursed technique creation function.

And so, he got to work.
Firstly he would fill out the cursed technique description.
A strange grin made its way onto his face, as he remembered the hereditary technique of the Zenin clan, the ten shadows technique.
The Ten Shadows Technique was powerful as heck. It was to the point of being a bug level existence. Why?
Well, the ability to summon ten shikigami might not seem like that much of a big deal, and honestly... it's really not if you think about it. But the power lies in the last Shikigami of the Ten Shadows Technique.
Eight-handed Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga.
The strongest shikigami in existence.
Wielding the 'Sword of Extermination' in its hand and the 'Dharmachakra' on its back, it was a shikigami that no one in the history of the Zenin clan had managed to tame.
And that was because of the one ability of the 'Dharmachakra'.
That was the ability to adapt to any and all phenomenon. This was not common knowledge in the jujutsu world. Shuichi's predecessor only came to know about it because he sneaked into the Zenin clan vault to take a look at the notes of the techniques that had existed in the history of the clan.
Luckily, he wasn't caught.
But that one incident provided the current host of his body with an unmatched idea of power and versatility.
'I'm going to make Mahoraga's power!'
