The pain only lasted for a moment, well not a moment exactly, but for close to a minute. I didn't need to be in the control room to be able to see my stat sheet, and I had an understanding of the way the application of Qi works, as a lot of the option available were symbiotic with each other. I could raise my stats with Qi, or by advancing my cultivation or mastering martials arts and skills and even by luck from utilizing different sorts of treasures. I shook my head, clearing it of cobwebs as I registered the two people standing in front of me.
Watson Lee and Terra Lee were husband and wife that had served as servants to my grandfather, Terra in particular had been my father's nurse maid when his mother had eloped with an outer sect elder. She was still alive though; my grandmother that is, living her life as nun in a monastery after my father had found her and her new family and ripped them all to pieces in front of her, one after the other. Either way, the Lee's have been the most loyal of all our retainers, and the worst part of it all, they were never the most important, but now the position of head maid and head butler has now fallen to them.
"Young master." They both greeted, bowing their heads, as they went low with their bow at the waist, cupping their fists in the process.
"You both have earned a pass with being so formal with me, at least in private. You both practically raised me, and after putting up with all of my problems for so many years, you guys still chose to stay. So you earn a pass, none the less is there anything you need me to know."
Terra stepped forwards with a small smile "I'm sorry young master, but the pantry was sabotaged, most of the food there has spoilt and gone really bad, some even poisoned." I furrowed my eyebrows in surprise before asking.
"Who do you think could have done such a thing?" Watson held his hands together as he answered me.
"We dare not point fingers young master, but Until young mistress Malia arrived today, all of the food in the pantry were still viable. I can not point fingers master, but this is a problem. Security is pretty much lax at the moment master and we need to come up with a solution."
That is a problem, and a big one, and it is not one I can solve any time soon… or perhaps there is a way. I turned around to look at the peach tree, to everyone else this was the control room that only the master had access to, but I know it's a gateway to a hidden part of the island where super powered demon monkeys frolicked… perhaps it's about time they all started paying rent.
"Don't worry too much about the security issue, I should have a temporary fix for it by sundown today. But as for food, that can be a problem, above all else we have to be self sufficient. The sect is anchored now, there's not enough Qi for it to even start moving, so probably agriculture and little bit of hunting in the cursed sea might be the only way for us to survive. There's no hurry, Terra gather what's left of our edibles, besides there are fruit trees allover the Ark-Land. We can survive on that for now, Watson map the area, see it there are any monsters that can be domesticated for meat or hunted for any other resources. Also we need to restart recruitment for the sect once again, but that I'll handle. For now let us get our household in order, we might be having guest tonight or tomorrow morning. If you need any help let me know, and if you see anything suspicious or anyone that's not my mother or a monkey… kill them first then ask who they are after, if they can still answer that is."
My instructions were astute, at least I think they were. I might have been groomed for leadership right from a young age, but this is way out of my league if I have to be honest. Well not out of my league, just not something I was ready for even if I had prepared for it. I left them bowing before making my way to the manor, it was smaller than it's supposed to be. The only thing left was my room, my father's room, my mom's room, a single guest room, and the servants quarters that the Lee's now lived in. The study was gone, the cultivation room gone, the kitchen was intact but way smaller, the basement was gone, so was the attic, the ballroom, the pond, the pool, the personal docks for both airships and sea ships, the training grounds, the armory, the treasury, and the hundreds of rooms that made this place the true palace it once was. All gone.
But I'll get them back, and it will be better than before. Sure this would be a lot harder for me than any other sect master that have come before me, and mainly because they had only had to build on the foundations of their fathers. Me on the other hand will have to work from scratch, but it's okay, I have help or rather a boost that they never had. So I'll work with that.
I stepped into my room, ignoring the fact that it was a lot cleaner that I had left it, and walked to my bed side drawer and pulled it open. I picked up the almost two dozen books that were there and spread them on my bed. I sifted through and found the five that was most important to me. The Red Gale of The East Wind, The White Chill of The North Wind, The Black Breeze Of the South Wind, and The Blue Gust Of The West Wind.
These were the foundational cultivation techniques of the four winds sect, the techniques that divided the sect into four factions, of both outer sect disciples, inner sect disciples, elders, before finally a centralized faction for core disciples where the combined cultivation method is taught when said core disciples or elders have achieved a significant realm and stage of power in their cultivation.
The Black Wind technique as it's called for short focused on martial arts, this Is mainly the path for those focused on body cultivation. The Blue wind is focused on spells, these are the pure cultivators with their flying swords and Qi focused techniques. The White Wind focused on Qigong; movement techniques. and were actually the diplomatic side of the sect. They were the merchants, and business men of the four winds sect, but even if most of them spent their time looking over the assets of the sect, home and abroad, they were still very formidable fighters, the sect's assassins also came from this faction. The red wind technique and it's faction were those who focused on cultivating skills. Alchemy, formations, forging also known as blacksmithing also known as engineering. Farming, herbology, monster raising and taming, mining etc. These were the four foundational techniques, but none of them were going to be of any use to me.
[Wind World Emperor's Theorem]
The golden script on the cover of the book evoked a reaction from me, it was intoxicating, so much so that I could feel the power coming from it. Techniques like almost everything else was divided into tiers. Tier I the lowest and the highest being Tier X. The Wind World Emperor's Theorem was a Tier VII cultivation technique, the highest to be found and can be updated to a Tier VIII or Tier IX by utilizing natural treasures.
This technique was the foundation of the four winds sect and is the Archon cultivation method of the wind Element. The base, the origin method where all other wind cultivation techniques are derived from. It was what had once made the four winds sect so feared, what had once made us so powerful. In a world where Ark-Lands and ships of both sea and air are the prime mode of survival, mastery over the wind was without a doubt the most important thing, and because of that we had the monopoly on engines for airships and ships as a whole, none was more faster than what we made. Never the less this is about power, my power.

[Wind World Emperor's Theorem: When The Embryo Of The Wind World Is Born Within, All Shall Be Refined To The Truth Of The One Breath, All Shall Live To The Bonds Of The One Air, All Shall Fall To Rage Of The One Wind, And All Shall Ascend To Grace, With Wings Of Emperor's Gales.]
There was a soft wail as a smooth Gail blew through my room. The process of learning the Theorem wasn't as convoluted or overly reliant on comprehension as it was before the breaking. Now the system would take care of everything with a little loss in Qi. It was like a stream of knowledge had been dropped squarely in my mind, and from it came awareness of my surroundings and awareness of the Qi within my body. (Of course more could be achieved if reliance on the system was reduced and an attempt to comprehend is made, but not now, I'm in a hurry.)
There wasn't a lot of it, and rather than it being present within channels that were hidden through my body, it was within my body itself. Saturating my muscles and bones, organs and tissues. The power of Qi held within my body, but what was happening now was phenomenon that went beyond just feeling the Qi within my body. I could feel the Qi that was present in the air, I could feel it clinging to my frame.
[10 Ambient Qi had been Absorbed to Raise Cultivation From Qi Sensing Realm I to Qi Sensing Realm II!]
[Wind World Embryo Is Now Being Formed]
Another heightening of my senses, but this time from within the recess of my mind as things became sharper by a whole other degree, my perception of the world enhanced to a point almost unnatural. This was more than just seeing the world with different eyes, it was being connected to it at a Metaphysical level that saw it's very rules being capable of being broken at my whims. My journey to immortality and supreme power, the very step required to be taken on the road of cultivation.
I sat down cross legged as I began to feel all of the ambient Qi around me being sucked into my body at an unprecedented speed. All of the channels in my body welcomed all of the QI, as they rushed in through my pores and skin, sinking into and flowing through drought scared channels, rushing down to my center, where an absent dantian was beginning to get formed. One that I shouldn't have at this stage of my cultivation, but this was the caveat of the Wind World Emperor's Theorem. It created an embryonic world of wind that absorbed all of the Qi in your body and refined it, making you cultivate with half the effort for seven times the gain.
And this world did so much more than just refine Qi, it refined bloodlines, poisons, techniques, and increased your capacity for Qi by more than twice the normal amount. With this method even a person with absolutely no aptitude in cultivation would be able to gain power enough to become the leader of his or her own sect. But this gain of power was not without it's own price.
The onslaught of Qi in my body was painful, it rushed in as vapor and began to congeal within my stomach, creating the embryo that would one day blossom into a true wind World. But even at that, the pain shook me, it dragged every single thing, even the very Qi in my bones was used in the formation of the embryo. Pain like liquid fire settled at the base of stomach and began to spread across my entire body as my recently acquired tail whipped every which way in severe agony. My teeth was clenched so hard I had bitten through my tongue with longer than average fangs I never noticed I had, as even my gums themselves began to bleed. I desperately wanted to cry out, but I was stuck, and beyond that was the darkness that began to creep in at the edge of my visions.
But there was no giving in to the darkness, I knew without a shred of a doubt if I should do that everything would be for naught because I won't just fail, I'd die. There were some steps that you just couldn't skip over, even with the help of the system and this was one of them. This Theorem would be engraved in my body down to the depths of my very soul, this is the price required for power. And just as quickly as it started, it was over, and what was left behind it's wake was tiny seed the size of a grain of sand. But to my eyes it was huge, a barren land of fierce blowing winds of silvery blue ice and golden green storm clouds, the Embryo was complete.

I felt a lot stronger, and for that I was beyond giddy with joy. And while I would very much like to put my new state of being to the test, I wasn't done yet. With the cultivation technique down, what comes next were the techniques of different genres that would be utilized with it. So now that I had the fuel to fight, I needed the tools and machines to carry them out, it was time to complete my metamorphosis.
so I've been missing for a while but I apologize. I've hit a massive wall for all of my original novels, I've been trying but I just can't seem to move past the writers block that's kept me stuck. so the novel Asd: A werelions Journey to arcane supremacy is the last of what I call my First Generation Novels. now I'm trying to improve my writing and so far have been putting ideas down for a second generation novels. this is one of them, let's see how it does.
