The Elites

A warrior, running as fast as he possibly can. His body, stained with blood and wounds. He was barely holding on to dear life. So weak... they call themselves pro gamers?

"You got to be kidding me. Is this really the best you can do?" Why did I even waste my time on this PVP?

"Come now isn't that a little mean? They're not that bad." Jess, you should be one of the last people to call me mean and the only reason you're not taunting them is that your level is as low theirs

"Princess you're saying nothing because you are nothing" Liz replied, her burns hurt so much... plus calling Jess princess is just saying she's a noob that we knights have to carry through raids and PVP

"Let's just kill the last man standing. It's time for him to say goodbye and disappear" Jack said poetically, then he aimed his divine bow at the player. "Goodbye, you fought well for a noob" as he spoke those words he one-shot the guy.

"Welp, see you tomorrow at school. First days are a pain..." I said then logged out of Fantasy Burst 2

I took my headphone off and turned off my computer then went to bed. Summer's over, it's time for school.

The next day...

As the clock tick to 7.00, the rain started falling in the dark city. I walked with my umbrella through the rain. Rain is a proper weather for a day like this. First day of school... it's like isekai smartphone got another life and now lives on as the day we all hate.

I arrived at school a few minutes later...

"Rainer!" Liz came and attacked me from behind

It was my best friend, her highness, Liz. I looked behind her and saw that there was miss 'I'm so nice', Earn, behind her

My day starts off great with her around...

"It's great to see you both again" I replied with a smooth smile, that nice good job me, Earn will never know I hate her.

"Yeah, it's really good to see you too" Earn said. Earns such a pain. I hate her, but I can't say anything because she's the class's saint and whoever defies her is better off dead. Normally I'd like nice people, but when you have to see her every day it gets annoying. I wonder where Jack and Jess is.

Then as I was standing uselessly in the middle of the room...

All the sudden something separated the class to different corners and a sort of transmutation circle appeared covering the floor and started glowing so brightly everyone had to close their eyes. The moment I could open them again I was laying on the ground protected by the shades of a tree

What should I do? What can do? I looked off to the distance, it was an almost endless field of beautiful green grass. Close to me, there was a path leading to somewhere beyond my field of vision. As I was examining the terrain a gryphon shaped being was flying before my very eyes

Is this really a fantasy world? I've watched isekai before, but I never thought I'd be in one.

"W-What happened?" Liz's voice whispered, although it was quiet I can still hear it.

I turned around to find a beautiful girl with a long untied, unruly light blonde hair with curly ends and multicoloured eyes, one was sparkling clear blue and the other was sinister deep ruby. She's wearing an all-black attire with a dark brown cloak with a ruby holding it together, it was covering most of the attire.

"Who are you?"

"I thought you were someone I know... I'm sorry" the blonde girl with Liz's voice looked away blushing

"A-Are you... Lizzy?" I said, Lizzy's a cute name. I'm gonna call her that if she's actually Liz

"Yes, my name is Liz. Who are you?" It's Liz... but she looks like her avatar in Fantasy Burst 2.

"I'm Reiner genius," I replied sarcastically

"Seriously, Rainer doesn't look this handsome"

"Your's too, your looks so much better than you irl"

Liz looked at herself and she was stunned, she looked as if she was paralyzed.

"We're not in Fantasy Burst though. I remember every inch of that game. I can walk through all the areas with my eyes closed"

I don't know if I should be impressed with this or not. Liz seems to be average with classes, but I'm sure if her brain works the same as it does with her remembering maps, she'd be really really good at school.

"So?" I asked with pure ignorance

"Dude, it means we're probably in another world with our game characters and we have no idea what to do. Easy, you've been isekaied into another world, well that's my theory at least" Gotcha, usually, her theories are always correct so I'll trust her on this one

While she was talking I noticed that if I stared real hard at her, her stats come out:

"If you stare really hard at someone you can see their stats"

Eventually, we figured out and a lot of things like how to enter the menu and I also found out that there were two more people with us. One of the guys was Jack, the other was Jess. Although, this was their real name their in-game is actually Aurelius and Elvera.

It was getting dark so we got some branches off the trees and luckily for us, Liz had a torch in her inventory. Finally, we made a fire and gather around it. I'm glad we all know each other though.

"Cool, another world's not that, bad" Jess said with a smile, her bright pink hair complemented her light blue eyes and her distinct bold lined earrings made her look totally reflect her personality. She looked a lot like Liz in the old world and I guess still does

"Yeah, basically we're in a fantasy world that I always wanted to be in, isn't that great," Liz said with a smirk

"You all seem so calm. In a situation like this, I imagine most people would scream" I said, seriously though they've been talking so casually even though we're in a totally different world. I mean I'm still not totally convinced that it's not a dream yet, that's probably why I'm not going insane.

"Ha! Speak for us not him" Liz pointed at Jack and started laughing.

Jack was shaking and looking off to the distance. Everyone could tell that if we just pushed him a little more he'll burst into tears. Honestly, that green eyes, white hair and eye patch really don't suit him right now. Liz really likes taunting people, but I guess she doesn't cross the line for a stupid joke.

We just awkwardly stared at Jack and he finally broke "What are you looking at?! I'm not crying!"

"No one said you were crying and even if you did no one would be worried enough to even care" Jess sprinkled some salt into his wound

"So mean..." Jack, while tears were slowly coming out of his face, glared at Jess

We talked and Jack slowly calm down. You know I wonder if I had the chance to go back... will I?
