Trickster (3)

A Light bulb suddenly went off in Barry's mind.

He superspeeds out of the building.

"He ran away?. What a weakling, maybe I have to give him a little motivation", he looked at Caitlin and grinned as he placed a gun to her skull.

Barry was a good One kilometer from the location, he checks his Sonar Device and made some adjustments to his positioning.

"What are you trying to do Barry!!. He's gonna kill her", Cisco screamed.

Barry kept his focus on what he was doing and completely ignored him, Cisco kept screaming and shouting at him. He remained indifferent and after a while, he put away the Sonar device and shot out instantly and crazily fast, a gale of wind forms at his former location, which sweeps away the nearby objects. He was vibrating at such a speed that the normal eyes couldn't keep track, only his lightning was visible.

Wells slowly said through the com link, "What do you have in mind, Barry?"

"Just Watch", was all he said.

The distance between them kept closing rapidly. 800km, 600km, 300km...

Barry charged forward with all his might. By the trickster noticed the force coming toward him, a fist was travelling towards his face.

***BBOOOMMMMM***

The punch connects with his face. He's thrown back a dozen metres and his back slammed against the wall, his mask shattered and blood kept oozing out from his face, he looked almost unrecognizable again.

He runs towards Caitlin, and removed the rope and tape used to bound her.

Caitlin hugged him tight as tears streamed down her cheeks.

Then from the corner of his eye, he saw the trickster press a button on his belt the he dies. Barry didn't bother about him and carried Caitlin in his arms.

The Cisco said suddenly, "There's a large energy swelling 50metres from your position. Get out of there fast"

Barry looks around and caught sight of a clock on the wall ticking down, 0:03, 0:02.....

A BOMB!!!!!!

He grips Caitlin tighter and speeds out of the building. But due to the amount of strength expended, he couldn't run as fast as he wanted to.

****KAAABBOOOOOMMM****

The entire building was destroyed by the power of the blast and nearby buildings suffered heavy damages.

The shockwave caught Barry and sent him flying. He managed to shift his body just in time and landed on his back. Caitlin held him closer as they landed on the floor.

Caitlin slowly opened her eyes....

"Cait, are okay?", Barry said as he held her in his arms.

"Hmm.... Yeah Barry. But what about you", She asked.

"I'll be fine. I heal fast."he said

"Thank Goodness you're okay. You had me worri.... "

Before he could finish talking, she laid a kiss on his lips. Barry's eye widen in shock. But after a while, he pulled her closer and kiss her back.

She then raised her head up and said, "I love you, Barry."

Though it was for a short while, for a speedster like him, it took forever.
