Mordo had been paying special attention to Jack since Stephen had come from New York saying that he had shown up to Jack wanting to learn magic.

Mordo was also surprised and jealous to hear the Ancient One saying that the Vishanti had asked her to teach Jack, Mordo always wanted to be the Sorcerer Supreme, so he was jealous of Stephen who seemed to have a better talent than him for magic.

That's why Mordo was also jealous of Jack who seemed to have more talent for magic than Stephen, after all, Mordo thought that Jack was very talented in magic and that's why he had called Vishanti's attention before he even started training.

So Mordo paid special attention to Jack and was even more convinced that he was right when he saw that Jack studied seriously and quickly managed to enter the Astral Dimension.

Jack was going to tell Wong that he didn't need the battle training, after all, he was confident that he would beat most people from Kamar-Taj in physical strength and also in fighting techniques.

But since Jack already had superhuman speed and reflexes, he was still able to fight Mordo easily, so Jack decided to stop defending himself and start attacking as well.

Jack attacked quickly and skillfully as he had trained for several months in various martial arts, so Mordo soon realized that he was wrong in thinking that Jack only wanted to know magic.

The two fought quickly, surprising the people who were training at Kamar-Taj, so Jack thought he had already fought for a long time and accelerated, hitting Mordo's arm and kicking him in the chest, knocking him down.

"It looks like you already learned how to fight before coming to Kamar-Taj, I was wrong to say something about teaching you, but I still have to teach you how to fight using magic, after all, you came here for that," Mordo said without giving up.

"Here at Kamar-Taj, we fight conjuring weapons and shields, you already learned how to enter the Astral Dimension, so you shouldn't have difficulty conjuring a weapon," Mordo said taking a wooden staff that was on his waist.

After that fight, Mordo stopped being jealous of Jack and recognized his ability, after all this Karl Mordo was different from the comics and was a fighter who wanted to protect the world.

In the next few days Jack continued to learn magic from everyone at Kamar-Taj and continued to fight Mordo every day to improve his magical ability, Mordo also said that he had a lot to learn from fighting Jack.
