----------------------------------------

Almost a year later.

Julius had already grown up and inherited most of the characteristics of his visible parents, a childish face that showed traces of severity, gray hair, an intimidating aura but with a touch of cunning, the complete package of a Noxian.

Robert looked at his 1 year old son curiously, although he doesn't know much about babies he knew that the current situation was not normal, Julius had grown as much as a 3 year old and besides learning the local language he had also learned to read and write and was better than Robert himself in mathematics.

This confused Robert, his son was born not only with a big and strong body but with a capable mind, if this wasn't a blessing he wouldn't know what is, Robert still remembers when he went on a pacification tour for 3 months and when he came back his son already knew how to walk and exercised daily and read almost all the books his wife gave him.

Speaking of his wife she was the happier of the two, Silvana who expected to have to deal with a crying child every day and difficulties in raising her son because it was her first time being a mother discovered that it was an extremely smooth process.

When Julius was hungry he made noises and also told her when he wanted to go to the bathroom, he didn't give her any trouble but also helped her with her own which was to manage the household finances, if she hadn't been somewhat isolated in the North she could have spread the news that her son was a genius all over the capital.

However, for Julius this year was very different than for his parents.

( Interface:

Name: Julius BlackIron

Age: 11 months and 22 days.

Abilities: (Portal Travel) (Super Body) (Magic Absorption).

He only had two other abilities besides the one he received from the system but that didn't stop him from doing several tests during his time while alive, " First I tested the size and length of the portal and on what occasions I could open it, simply put it didn't have a set size but I extrapolated that the limit was between 15 to 30 cubic meters at most and it kept to my size at the minimum." Julius thought as he made notes in a notebook that he asked his mother for.

"I didn't have the opportunity to test it at its maximum size but that's ok, I was also able to open a portal to any place as long as I could imagine the characteristics of that place, I tested this after opening a portal to the shadow islands and it was not a pleasant experience." Julius let out a sigh as he remembered that the mist almost entered the portal and went after him.

" Moving on, I more or less understand my current situation. "My father is a Naxian nobleman by merit, he is a newly elected marquis for his merits in battle, my mother was a member of the ancient aristocratic families of Noxus and was also part of the crimson society which was a positive but negative point at the same time.

Lastly the time period I am in, Noxus is still ruled by Boram Darkwill and we were at some point before Noxus' war against Ionia and after Jerico Swen's purge against some noble families and the Black Rose.

Darius was already a famous man and had earned his title as the Hand of Noxus, but the campaigns against the Winter's Claw had not yet happened which was a good thing I imagine.

My current location was the Ore Fort, yes the place that provided all the best quality iron ore and gold for Noxus, an almost perfect fortress that has never been breached before, so far, the Val-Lokan family still rules the fort and the situation is still stable.

The only thing I couldn't understand is why they sent my father here after his military achievements, it's as if they retired him for standing out too much, but it seems that this was a move by one of the old noble families to make room for someone else to stand out in his place.

My mother was in a similar situation but not the same, she was an influential and manipulative person, she was too good at it and the heir of her family felt his position threatened by her and convinced the leader of the house to marry her to my father thus exiling her also to the North.

Simply put, we were a noble family without land, army (besides my father's personal battalion), influence and limited money. It is not a bad situation but for me to rise in rank will be complicated.

I wrote down all my thoughts on paper before getting up and exploring the mansion as a way to exercise my limbs, I was growing fast and steady thanks to my daily exercises which was a good thing.

As for my magical energy although I felt I couldn't use it yet it seemed to be helping my growth in a positive way, maybe I should visit the Hirama monastery when I am older.

"Very well, now I think I should start putting some of my plans into action." I talked to myself and walked into the office of my mother Silvana who was having some tea while reading some letters.

"Oh Julius darling." My mother exclaimed when she saw me and motioned for me to come closer which I did and sat on her lap and let her pamper me a bit before declaring my purpose, " Mother, I have a request!" I said as I looked at her with a pleading look.

"Would it be books and information about the continent again? I told you it takes time for the merchants to pass through town be patient." She said as she rubbed my hair.

" It's not that, I would like to explore the city." I said surprising her for a moment and Silvana thought for a few moments before allowing it, her son was smart and unless he offended the ruler of the city there wouldn't be much trouble.

End of the chapter.

If there are any disagreements in the Lore please let me know, the history of Runeterra is very broad and full of holes so I am trying to keep it congruent.
