Chapter 39: Meeting Elder Council(2)

In a meeting room inside the Hokage building:

On one side of the table Sarutobi Hiruzen, Konoha's Hokage was smoking, his three friends sitting beside him. Shikaku Nara and Hiashi Hyuga were also present. Shikaku being Jonin commander and Hiashi being Hinata's father.

On the other side of the table sat Naruto with a carefree expression, Hinata clinging to Naruto as usual as if declaring her sovereignty over him, Hisoka with an air of indifference but one can see her gaze calculating the strength of others present in the room.

Karin was also sitting beside Hinata, she was nervous wondering if she would have to leave her newly formed family or if she had to stay what price would Naruto have to pay.

Then there was also Sasuke present, he had his usual scowl on his face but he was restraining himself from attacking Danzo on the spot.

Sakura and Kakashi were also present there but they were standing at the back. They were there just because they were Naruto's teammates.

Hiruzen had a single goal here, just ask about the new blond woman present there. As for the rest, he doesn't want to antagonize Naruto over something trivial. But the rest of the elders don't have this thought. Even after repeated warnings of Hiruzen, they thought that Hiruzen was just boasting.

"Brat you are repeatedly going against Konoha." Started Utatane.

"First the land of waves where you stepped out of line and interfered with their affairs. Then your fan-fest is interfering with Konoha's security and again you are kidnapping Kusagakure's genin, which might result in Konoha losing an ally and if that's not all you are also harbouring a Kunoichi with unknown affiliation. The said kunoichi also attacked a couple of our Anbus. If you don't hand over them Konoha might consider you a traitor."

These words stunned everyone present in the room.

"These are some big words elder. Are you sure want to stand by them?" asked Naruto in a playful voice. Even he was surprised for a moment. He has shown his strength and you still want to push him towards being a traitor.

Hiruzen wanted to interfere to protect his friends but before he could continue he was interrupted by his good friend Danzo and Danzo went even one step ahead.

"How about you hand them over to my roots? I can interrogate them and provide answers for everyone. All is done for Konoha." It was clear from his gaze that he wanted Karin. An Uzumaki would make up for a perfect tool.

"No." Came a reply from Naruto.

"What did you say?" asked Danzo with an agitated voice.

"I said no."

"I am not asking you brat. This is an order from Konoha's elder and leader of roots."

"My answer is still no. What will you do?"

"Are you going to rebel against Konoha?"

This chain of events stunned everyone. How come it came to being a rebel so soon?

"Okay let me make it clear, no one, absolutely no one has any right to ask me to do anything let alone hand over one of my family members. Yes, Karin is an Uzumaki as you already know, and as one of the last members of the Uzumaki clan, I have adopted her as my sister."

"You don't have the right to do that." This time it was Homura who shouted.

"Well, do I look like I care about these trivial things?"

"Okay, I have enough." Danzo signalled for his hidden men to capture them. He thought that with a couple of elite jonins, it would be easy for him to capture Karin and Hisoka and also resist Naruto's retaliation. Plus he has Hiruzen so no harm will come to him. His belief in his good friend who he wants to kill was still quite good.

Suddenly around fifteen men surrounded Naruto and his group. Hiruzen wanted to stop them but before he could move someone else had already disappeared from her place.

Like a yellow blur, she reappeared and disappeared and within two seconds 15 elite jonins had their heads severed from their bodies.

This strength brought immense trepidation to everyone present in the room. Hiashi and Kakashi who wanted to make a move to protect Naruto and his group were also stunned. This yellow flash was very familiar to them yet so unfamiliar. There were no seals present but Hiashi, Kakashi, Hiruzen and Danzo understood it was a space-time ninjutsu and that to a seal-less one.

Hiruzen was horrified. He just wanted to know about this familiar lady but his friends have antagonized them and now look at it. 15 elite jonins were killed within seconds. Even he is not confident to react to this blond lady.

When she reappeared, Hisoka sat down on her seat, with one leg above another as she slowly introduced herself while wiping blood stains from her short sword.

"Where are my manners, from the moment I appeared, I haven't introduced myself." Just as she spoke a chakra pressure covered the entire room which was slowly increasing as she continued her introduction.

"My name is Namikaze Hisoka. Yes, the shock on your face is not for nothing. I am the mother of your favourite Fourth Hokage. I left him in Konoha because of some problems I was dealing but when I returned more than three decades later, I found that my son was dead and my lovely grandson was having a fan-fest."

By this time the chakra pressure has reached its peak. And everyone was horrified, not just due to the chakra pressure, but also due to her words. Just the chakra pressure was enough to immobilize them, only Hiruzen could retain his mobility but he also knew, even in his prime he could not last long against her.

Where did this terrifying existence come from? The chakra pressure reminded Hiruzen and his friends of their teacher. Or might be slightly more. What terrifies them more is the seal-less space-time ninjutsu and being Minato's mother is also acceptable as both of them have such a great space-time talent. But now that she knew about her grandson, they had sweat running down their spines.

"I just found out that my lovely grandson didn't have a pleasant stay here in the village, how about you answer some of my questions? Being the son of the fourth Hokage, how did my grandson spend most of his life in poverty being ostracized by the entire village?"

The entire room went silent after these words occurred. The chakra pressure also disappeared but the silence remained. No one has the guts to stand against this terrifying existence.

Danzo the prime instigator was scared silly. His 15 elite jonins trained for years were killed in seconds and the pressure exerted by the woman even surpassed his teacher. He would definitely die if she wanted to kill him and even Hiruzen will not be able to deal with her. He knew Hiruzen's strength. If we exclude the first tow Hokage and the third Raikage then Hiruzen will definitely be the strongest Kage. But compared to the woman in front of him, he was sure that Hiruzen will be of no use.
