In MHA as an Uzumaki

Haruki is a reincarnated person who's given 3 blessings. One of those blessings was Uzumaki bloodline. Being an orphan in his past life, most of which was spent lying on the bed, how would he cherish his new life and relationships he gets and creates? This will be a bit more toward the fluffy side with some wish fulfilment elements. So consider this as a disclaimer. I own nothing more than OC and the storyline. I hope you enjoy it, because I'm enjoying writing it.

Chapter 12: Aunty would be proud

[ Haruki POV ]

A few minutes earlier,

"Are we there yet?" I asked the most common question of kids. I do feel embarassed about it, but I feel bored even more than that.

"Yes, let me park the car first." Mom replied.

After parking the car

We reached to the front door of the house. Mom rang the doorbell.

The door was opened by a blonde girl. Her figure was..... still growing, I guess? Yeah, I'll leave it at that. A petite figure. Her face looked cute though. Blue irises, slightly plump cheeks, clear white skin. I'd say a 6 on my scale for figure but 8 for the face. So a solid 7?

She doesn't seem any older than me. If that's really the case, then I think she'll be a solid 9-ish in future.

Still... I gotta see what's her personality is like. To give my final judgement.

What? Don't look at me like that! I was an innocent soul. My mom did all she could to help me socialize, do you think my aunt will stay anywhere behind?

She helped me learn a many things. I learnt it all but I still can't talk to girls. Not because of not being able to learn it, but because of the lack of self confidence. It took a heavy impact because of those brats being terrified of me.

The moment we entered the door, Mom got jumped on by a lady with black hair same as mom. She seems to be her friend Asuna. She was hugging her so tightly as if there was no tomorrow.

'Damn it! I just realised I'm all alone with a girl! A potentially stunner of a girl! I should calm myself down! But what should I talk to her about? Ah, f*ck it all! Imma do what I wanna do!'

"Is she always that cheerful?" I asked as normally as I could.

"You don't know the half of it." She replied.

"I'm Haruki. Haruki Uzumaki. What's your name?" I asked.

"Rika Shiranui." She replied.

Before I could say anything more Rika's mother invited us in. Thereafter I stayed silent for the whole time.

Aunt Asuna seems to trust Mom a lot. She told her the reason they moved back here for.

'Dad would have become a good friend with him if they were to meet'

Sudden reminder of Dad brought back the memory of that page in my notes. I clenched my fists. I was angry. Although I made sure not to leak any Chakra, but I was really very angry.

'Soon. Soon.' I repeated to myself in order to calm down.

Soon I calmed down but saw that three pair of eyes were staring at me. Mom had her hand over my shoulder.

'Did I blank out or something?' I thought.

"Are you okay?" Mom asked. She was worried.

"I am. Sorry to make you feel worried. I was just thinking about some random things." I said with a smile on my face. I felt bad trying to deceive her, but I can't let her in in my craziness.

"You know, Haruki, even though for some reason, I can't sense your emotions, but my experience is enough to tell me that you were extremely angry and sad about something. I would've never called you out, but such emotions should not be suppressed. You can trust us. Well, we don't know each other much, so it's fine if you don't tell us about it. But trust your mom. She's one helluva strong woman. She could deal with a lot even when she was a teenager. She can help you."

Aunt Asuna said with a serious expression, which turned into a smiling face at the end of what she said.

"Haru-chan, you can tell me about it. You can trust them too. What is it?" Mom asked.

"It's nothing Mom. I just got reminded of Dad." I replied. This time with a sad and pained expression.

"I miss him too honey. But we have to move on. We know we love him right? Then keep on loving him and live our lives the best we can. He would've wanted the same." Mom said while giving me a hug.

"I'm sorry if I brought up bad memories." Aunt Asuna apologized.

"It's not your fault. It's just me. I just thought that they would've become good friend if they were to meet each other." I said trying to lift up the mood a little.

"They would. As much as I know about both of them. Maybe they are watching this all from heaven?" Aunt Asuna joined in.

Her attempt was better than mine. I guess being in the line where they deal with different people would leave you some experience for such situations.

"Ma, what do you mean when you said you can't sense their emotions?" Rika asked.

"Exactly as I said. I can't sense them at all." Aunt Asuna replied.

"Don't worry your heads over it. We both have special devices on us. It's an advanced equipment made based on Quirk Suppressors. Most quirks won't work on us." Mom replied.

The pride in her tone wasn't hidden even a little bit. It is something made by her son afterall.

"So that's how it is! I've been thinking of buying one of those Quirk Suppressors. Lately my quirk has become too much of a handful." Aunt Asuna said.

"What's your quirk by the way?" I asked with a hint of curiosity in my voice.

"It's called [ Empath ]. Just like its name, it lets me feel what people in 30 meter radius around me are feeling." She replied.

"It's great. But I can see why it'd be a handful. But don't bother buying those things. We brought two complete sets of those as gifts." I replied.

"You didn't have to. I wouldn't deny such a thoughtful gift, but it must've been expensive." She said.

She was genuine with what she said though. I have something similar but upgraded version of her quirk afterall.

"You don't have to worry about that. As a best friend, it's my duty to be considerate of you." Mom replied enthusiastically.

After that they started reminiscing their past. I thought it's better not to disturb them and slip out of here and let them enjoy their reunion.

"Um... H-Hey, they seem to be busy in their own world a-and... I was feeling a little bored... so... i-if you don't mind... w-would you like to talk a walk to the park with me?"

Rika suddenly asked me just when I was about to leave.

'Calm down, Calm down! You need to keep your cool Haruki! Fake it till you make it! Calm yourself! Yosh!!!'

"Yeah... Sure. If you want to." I replied.

"Okay. Ma! I'm going to the park with Haruki. We'll be back before dinner." She told her mother before leading me out of the house.

After some time, in the park.

We talked about a lot of things which were mostly initiated by her at first.

She's very curious about a lot of things. She's a kind hearted person.

I got to know her quirk too. Her quirk is called [ Life Energy ]. She can heal herself from practically anything. By focusing the life energy on one part of her body she can harness great amount of power through that part of her body. As for her limitations. She didn't tell me.

'She has a good head on her shoulders. Likeable girl.'

She's kind but not naïve. Good!

After getting comfortable, I started asking questions to her too.

It was about to be dark. I saw a woman looking around. Park was completely empty aside from me and Rika. The woman had a baby in her arms. Maybe 2 years old? But the baby was asleep.

'She seems to be thirsty but can't drink water because of the baby in her arms. She must be confused about what to do. First child maybe? Whatever.'

I thought after seeing how she was standing close to the water tap.

I decided to help her. Rika followed me.

"Oba-san, if you don't mind, I can hold your child while you drink water." I said.

This could be taken as a suspicious behaviour. So I intentionally leaked my Chakra while focusing on the feelings I got after seeing the sleeping child. The feeling of wanting to protect.

It worked. I guess.

"Thank you!" She said and handed me her child. She made sure she's facing me when she's drinking water.

I was focused on the kid in my arms. It's a girls. She had pale blue-grey wavy hair. She was sleeping so soundly as if no care about how her bedding has changed. Maybe because of me trying to use calm and soothing Chakra in the environment. But as long as it works, who cares?

She has a small yellow horn on her right side of her forehead. It's almost as big as the tip of my pinky.

Rika, who was looking at her beside me suddenly chimed.

"Aww, she looks so cute! Look at that cute little horn on her forehead!"

She was a little loud. The kid almost woke up because of it.

"Shhhh! Easy on your voice! Can't you see? You almost woke her up!"

I snapped at her but still whispered, because I didn't wanna make the same mistake I'm scolding someone else for.

'Strange. It's not that easy for me to snap at someone, much less at a girl. Maybe I'm still angry from the talk we had before?' I thought.

"Thank you so much! You are really kind!" The woman came to us and expressed her gratitude.

"It's fine. It is what I was supposed to do. Don't worry about it." I said while handing her her daughter a little reluctantly.

I saw that her daughter was holding onto my shirt in her sleep. I chuckled at it a little and freed my shirt from her little hand.

After that the woman left after expressing her gratitude again.

"It seems you are really protective about kids huh?" Rika said after the woman left.

"Yeah. I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to kids." I replied.

"It's a good thing. But what about bear-childs?" She asked.

"I yeet them." I replied with a serious face without any delay or hesitation.

Her expression was hilarious after listening to it. So I started laughing a little.

"I'm kidding, I just try to ignore them. Mostly bear childs are those who are very active in their heads. Just give it an attempt to make them busy with something they'd like and it becomes easy to deal with them." I said.

She pouted a little which only made her look even more cute.

"It's getting late. Maybe we should head back home now?" I suggested.

That's what aunt had taught me. Don't let things go awkward for more than 5 seconds. If theu hit the mark, be cunning in changing the subjects.

"Umu... We should." She replied.

We talked about random things during our way back.

"So, are we considered friends then?" Rika suddenly asked me.

That's something I wanted to know too.

"If you don't mind then, sure. We are friends." I replied with a smile on my face.

'I made a friend! A girl at that! Aunty will be proud!' I was screaming in my head.

After that our way back home was silent. None of us said anything. It wasn't an awkward silence though. Atleast not for me.

After we reached her home,

Mom asked me to introduce Ell to them. She's been sleeping until now. She's a newborn afterall.

"Hey Ell, you awake yet? We have some new friends here. They wanna meet you too." I called for her.

Ell came out of my chest this time. And gave her cute swirling dance for her entry. She loves her special entry. Maybe her personality is developing fast. I just hope this isn't a bad thing.

"She's so cute! Is that your quirk?" Rika asked me while trying to touch Ell. However, Ell, didn't allow her to instead she just like with mom, checked her out. After she was done, she came back to me and sat on my head.

Rika pouted at that. No wonder she has plump cheeks.

"Partly. She got created when I was trying to practice and improve control over my quirk." I replied.

After that short episode, we had dinner.

It was time for us to head home. Ell was already asleep in my chest as usual.

"Thank you for your hospitality. I hope you'll visit us too." I said to aunt Asuna.

"Definitely, you have to come visit us some day too." Mom said with a little aggressive tone. The one you'd use with your friend.

"Sure, we will." Aunt Asuna said while hugging Mom.

"I'll see you soon Rika-san. Take care." I said to Rika.

"Umm... You too, Haruki-kun" She replied.

I could see the relieved expression Mom had after seeing that I finally have a friend.

"So..... You're already on first name basis huh? You're Aunty will definitely be proud of you." She said. A little teasingly.

"Well, she's a kind girl. Definitely worth being friends with." I said while trying to hide my embarassment.

"Sure~~ If you say so."

She was really getting better in getting under my skin. Or maybe my skin is just too thin.

Anyways, seeing her relieved and smiling like this, I was reminded again of why I chose to be stronger. I wanna protect this smile.

I definitely will. No matter what I have to do for that.
